Of course, you can earn something, but if you ask a question like this, what do you expect to be advised? Haven’t you heard that in almost every area a person works, there is an opportunity to earn money? But guess what people do about this? I still mean that before throwing such a one-line question, a person who wants to achieve something should walk around the forum a little, read more deeply, and then ask.

There are different ways in which you can earn from crypto, but firstly, you have to take your time to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. If you can learn about trading, you can decide to deposit some money into your trading account, and you will be trading and earning. But as a beginner, you have to take your time to learn about trading, it’s not something you are just going to jump into, if you do that, you are just going to be losing without earning.
 
You can also participate in bounties, airdrops, and mining. Actually,  you will find it difficult to find legitimate ones right now, most of them are scams, and the amount some will be paying you isn’t really worth it, so I don’t really encourage people to go into bounties and airdrops for now. Maybe when we are in bounty season, you will be able to earn some reasonable amount of money.
 
You can participate in signature campaigns on the forum here, but firstly, you will have to rank up your account, which I know might not really be an easy task for you, but if you are dedicated and want to learn about bitcoin and crypto in general, then ranking up shouldn’t be a problem.
 
If you are talented, then you can also visit the service board, where you can advertise any service you are offering, and anyone who needs your service will contact you for it.

Yes, the possibility is very high but only if you have funds to make use of the opportunity and invest. However, if you are looking for a way to make free coins, you can participate in airdrop and bounties but you might be eventually disappointed because they will probably worth noting.

One important thing to emphasize on as a beginner is seeking for a knowledge first and not too focus on owning a coins because there is possibility you could lose them if you don't have knowledge on how to manage them and make good out of it. Starting with this mentality is not ideal and could lead to lose of money since you're eager to make something, you will end up with shitty projects.


Let assume Op has the financial capacity to acquire the mining machines, where will he start from? Op clearly stated that he is new crypto and obviously possess no knowledge about crypto. You need experience and knowledge not just equipments to be a miner. Perhaps, Op has no idea of what mining is at all. The industry is here to stay and there is no point for rushing, start gradually by having necessary knowledge and start from some where.

Well I don't think being a newbie will limit you from earning something like coins and you earning something depend  on how fast you can assimilate or understand that particular thing. Just calm down and learn don't always be in a hast before you run into trouble. Morever just like some of my colleague said, you can do airdrop to get coin if you don't have money to buy coin but before you do all these try to have a basic understanding of how it works.

I'm not saying it's not a way to earn crypto but he's looking at something that would give him funds and as a beginner into the crypto space, do you think he can afford those mining equipments? Well, I may not know for a fact if he can but to start from somewhere, why not start by rendering services?

Everything needs both time and patience to reach the goal from the beginning.  If you are new to the crypto world then take your time and get a good understanding of the coin before investing. I don't want to refer you some airdrop project without investment because it will just be a waste of time. However, first I need to have or create a situation where you can only finance the initial investment. You can invest in any coin but for that you need to have a good idea about that coin. Personally I think for initial investment you should invest in bitcoin or top altcoins because there you will understand with proper research that long time investment in coins will give you a good benefit in future. But don't start with such coins where you get frustrated and walk away from investing in cryptocurrencies.

Of course there is a possibility for you to earn something, but you should know that capital is required that's the first money that you can use to start up the investment, because without you having a capital there's no way that you can earn something, except you make research about this free airdrop project that is still ongoing, but is very hard to get a legit airdrop project nowadays because most of them after wasting your time to participate in those airdrop at the end it won't work to your expectations at this point it becomes a waste of time for you. so I will  advice you invest  in bitcoin when you have the money, you also need to learn how to hold on to it for Long term investment, because if you're patient enough to hold on to it for Long term investment I'm pretty sure that the possibility for you to earn something is now certain that's if you're patient enough.

Earning coins now are not really the best way to own a coin nowadays, people used to earn coins by participating in airdrops and faucets but they are really not worthy anymore most of them are now scams and to find a legit project is really hard this days. Some airdrops are legit but its difficult to identify them so i wouldn’t advise you to waste time participating in them.

Owning a coin now is just the way Coyster mentioned, the best way is to just buy for yourself because you hardly find a decent giveaway contest or airdrop that gives free legit tokens.

Bounty campaigns can be one if you don't have any money, but it will take time before you can earn. Testnets from new projects can be as well, but most of them aren't rewarding testnet users unfortunately, or if they will, it will not be worth it. Faucets? Completely gone already or if there is still, it's not worth the time.

Nowadays, if you really want to earn in cryptocurrency, you need to use your own money... or not. I guess the best way for you to earn money in crypto is to be a freelancer. Yes, you can earns crypto by doing something such as buying, mining, or play with faucet, depends on what you wants to do. You can do all of those three besides the other ways but you must search for the information before you decides. I heard that you can mines some coins with your PC even with your phone but I don't knows what and how to do. But those coins is not worth to mines because we don't knows where we can sell it. But if you mine with a hardware, you may have a chance to sell the coins and make a profit and that depends on the coin. We suggest you to just invest your money in bitcoin because that will gives you profit in the future. After all, you must research many things before decides so you knows what you wants to do.
