Suppose i want to make a transaction with an unknown person and i want to buy bitcoins from him .. How could i be assured that if i be sending him the money he will be giving me back bitcoins in exchange and what if he doesn't pay?? How to make this transaction WITHOUT USING ESCROW SERVICE?
Why do you want to do without escrow man ? The only possible thing that you can do is chargeback the money you sent to him if he does not pay but since you can do this hardly anyone would agree to sell bitcoins for such processors, because even if he pays you can charge back the money.
I will firmly suggest a escrow rather than playing with payment processors and ending up someone being scammed by other.

I think that you can do it with 2 of 3 Multisig address.
You will still need a 3rd, trustworthy person, but that person will have only to provide his public key and if anything goes wrong, that person can do the arbitrage.

I've seen on reddit some sort of tutorial for this, but it's for DOGECOIN.
The same principle works for Bitcoin too, but you have to study it more.

Of course, you still need a 3rd person. It's not really escrow, since the Bitcoin doesn't arrive to his wallet, but you need him in case of troubles.
Verifying a person you don't know is difficult. You can somehow verify a bitcointalk account based on the trust feedback it has, but basically that's it. Unless you want to hire private investigators, of course Cheesy

Without using a Trusted middle man your transaction can't be secured if you want your transaction to be secure then deal with the person face to face or buy bitcoins from a trusted bitcoin exchange website but using escrow is the best option. If the transaction is big like you are going to buy 1 bitcoin then split the transaction in 2-3 parts first buy 0.25 then buy again 0.25 and so.
And if the user doesn't pay you back in bitcoins then left negative feedback at his profile if you are buying from this forum otherwise, you cannot do anything if he scams you. You can only report it.

There is no other way but to use escrow to ensure that your goods will be delivered to you. Since you are just a newbie, they will be wary making transactions to you. So other party will probably require an escrow anyway.

Very risky indeed unless he knows the person personally.Escrow is the best option here, since you are dealing with totally anonymous person.Don't be another victim of scam, be wary and cautious every time you made transaction.

Many people are making tricky ways to get money without working it like dealing with people and run away afterwards.
Unless you use PAYPAL where you can get back your money if you tell them that you did not get the service or item you need to have.

you can involve a third person who is trust worthy to be the middle man
OP clearly mentioned about "no escrow". A middle man is nothing but escrow.
A perfect solution for OP must be trading only with well known people. Online friends/group still will not guarantee a secure transactions as one person may turn scammer at any time hence dealing with colleagues or neighbors or relatives will be the right solution imho.

Bitcoin is non-reversible, once go out of your wallet it will be gone for ever. So, secure yourself before sending. That is alone possible.
I guess to have secure transactions, we must develop some good community of friends to transact with them frequently.

Forming a group with reputed members will assure secure transactions even with the bitcoin payments, I believe. This type of team formation must be done with local people like we know them personally and physically.

No. Bitcoin transactions or irreversible. The only option is going to be escrow, as other mentioned.

you are buying bitcoin so you shouldn't be the one who worries since most of the money processors support some kind of charge back feature that the person paying money can use. bitcoin however does not have any charge back or what you are looking for. and the only way to be 100 sure and safe is using a legitimate service like circle or coinbase that you are sure they are not ripping you off.

You are talking about for examples paypals dispute/payback system? It's a total joke.
They always one-side with the paypal customer,  even if you have valid proof.
Dont fall for these tricks op, don't go first in a deal where the other party says you are secured because of the paypal system. It's not true.

the questions is why don't you want to use an escrow service?
any trade that involves bitcoin needs trust and without it nothing can be done, so you either trust the person you are trading with and vice versa and you do a rock paper scissor and winner sends first Cheesy
or you use a third person to act as escrow so that not you nor your partner can pull a scam.

Don't know the reason why you seems really don't want to use escrow service and didn't intended to while it could save your money when something you didn't expect to come just coming. though there's no way to secure your transaction without using escrow service so i just can strongly recommend you to use escrow service even there's an escrow service who doesn't charge you.you're not going to pay any cents

its the matter of trust-pick a trader with good reputation and trust history
it doesn't guarantee that you won't get scammed, take e-bay as an example
but the best option is escrow nonetheless, you cannot avoid it if you want the trade and transaction to go smoothly
yes,you pay some extra but it gives you piece of mind neccessary
some of the forum members escrow at 0%,don't see why won't you try them out

I don't see why you would not want to use escrow service, there are very reputable members in the forum that do it for free or for a very small fee, if the unknown person does not want to use escrow that should be a sign that maybe something is not right and you should not deal with this person.

Like everyone else have said, there is no other way to secure the transaction but to use escrow. This is the only way you can secure your money. Or just avoid transactions with unknown persons that you don't trust, use some exchanger instead. Be careful, many people just want to find the way how to steel others' people money.
