If bitcoin were not so volatile when it comes to price, I truly believe that many small business would use the currency. With the price varying so much more than the price of a dollar, it's hard to say whether the consumer or the business would get an advantage.
Yeah you are right it does not take a lot of the hard work because now the bitcoin is very famous and it is being use by all the people I hope the future of the bitcoin will be very bright and the importance of the bitcoin will increase if the local business men will invest in the bitcoin and as if you will show your profit of the bitcoin to those investors they will help you to buy more bitcoin and in this way the bitcoin will help the people.

But do you think some local business would even care on the articles you shared on social media's? For sure they are so much busy on how can they make more profit. So I believe your idea still wouldn't work. What we need to do is a physical approach, a form of meeting, and tell them all the advantages bitcoin can bring and also include the disadvantages, because they will ask for it too for sure. But maybe it will be hard for now to convince local businesses since bitcoin is not so much popular. So it's a 50-50 situation.

It is going to be quite a long while before regular walk in stores will accept bitcoin because of how you have to pay, it would be such a hastle to have to bring out your wallet key or barcode every time to pay, not to mention the fluctuation in the price of bitcoin right now is so unpredictable that it would be hard to get stores to join in, one day they get $500 worth of bitcoin, but the next day it could be worth $200 or $1000.
First i can do to encourage the the local businesses to accept btc is to teach them what btc about and how to grow their capital using bitcoin and i explain them whats the good benefits if they use bitcoin to their business.Sometimes is not easy to do that but if we have positive mind and sacrifice we can do anything to convince anybody.😊😊😊
