WE can only spread the knowledge and the benefits cryptocurreny will bring to the world and explain how much of a game changer it will be as well as correcting the negativity so many people seem to get attracted towards.
I think the main reason why a shop doesnt want to accept bitcoin is its violatility... a currency that can go 20% up or down a day is not a good payment method for them, but on the other hand the more people accept bitcoin the less volatile it will become as the market will groß and the supply and demand wont be seasonal... but this is only theory. On the other hand most small shop users dont know how to do handle bitcoins so there should be a payment gateway for them to easily accept bitcoins which are converted in the actually market price to whatever currency and that goes to his bank account... an easy solution is always a way to go for mass adoption.
That's true though the issue with volatility can be easily resolved by using payment processors (which are the same gateways you mentioned yourself). These are like Visa or MasterCard (which are also payment processors only for fiat transactions), and they process a lot of cryptotransactions at a time which allows them to effectively hedge against volatility bursts using liquidity providers (large exchanges like Bitfinex). It goes without saying that lower volatility itself would remove a lot of issues and unnecessary processes from the equation, and we seem to be if not quite there yet but at least already on the right track there with volatility of main cryptocurrencies visibly going down lately.
If people in general get the more positive impression about BTC instead of getting discouraged by FUD and scams then it is possible for BTC to be extendedly accepted by people worldwide.

I can pay my hosting and Domain since years now with bitcoin.
Also i can pay all food delivery services with Bitcoin.
So i guess this is great starting soon we can pay more and more with it !

It is true that govt. needs to step in BTC but along with that one more essential thing to do is making people more acknowledged about bitcoin’s pros and cons.
To make people accept bitcoin as currency government has to come forth and pay attention to BTC. If it is being recognized by govt. more the acceptance by mass people would be easier.
There are a lot of ways to show the people that Bitcoin is not a scam. I tried it before. I showed my proof of earning from Bitcoin to my friends and family. some of them believed. but, some of them told me that Bitcoin was just a scam. that's why I learned that we can't force people to believe us whether you show them proof or not. and maybe they had their own reasons why they don't want to get involved with cryptocurrency.
I think the whole question is in the stock exchanges. Bitcoin's trust has not been lost, but it has dried up to the stock exchanges. It is necessary to pull all the structures.
There is no stability in the price of bitcoin. In December 2017, its price was around $20000 but now the price of a bitcoin is just above $6000. I think there will be a stability in the price when SEC will give the permission of ETF to bitcoin.
bitcoin may not be an aphoristic currency since it is electronic money, in General cheaters are people who are interested in investing their money and any sposabami tries to vymenit they have . Yes there is a risk that you will invest more money than you earn
There are some security issues regarding bitcoin which are creating a fear in the mind of users and they are back stepping to use bitcoin. The security issues regarding wallets containing the coins have seen many times and investors came to the roads by vicious activities by hackers. This issue must be solved.

First of all, I think we need to get state regulation. When bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies get state support people will stop being afraid to invest.
Please come again. which 'people' are you referring to here, the people who invest in bitcoin or those who are accusing bitcoin as scam?
I am referring to the people who are accusing bitcoins to be scams and fake currencies. I have friends who invested their money in scam bitcoin wallets and lost them. Now they believe that bitcoin all and all are scams.I think the scammers are the people who are greedy that who wants to have a lot of bitcoins. Please bear in mind that you should not entrust your investment to anyone and make sure you are personally manages your investments if you do not want to be scammed.
People around the world is not aware of the bitcoin. There are many who do not even know what the hell bitcoin is and what the usefulness of it is. If this awareness is spread all around the world then people can accept bitcoin as currency.
We need to make people see that bitcoin is safer to use now than in the past. We need take away all their hesitation and wrong beliefs on bitcoin.
Whenever someone says anything bad about Bitcoin, I try to show them how the scams, criminal activities could have been carried out if fiat currency was used instead of Bitcoin. People are really blind about fiat and how robbers and hackers have been able to steal them even before Bitcoin was introduced. So, you need to change their perspective.

It is necessary to let people know what blockchain is, how bitcoin works and so on. People need to understand the simplicity of bitcoin and that's all i think
Mass adoption is really needed for that. Right now, the number of people who understand Bitcoin and how it works is very low. So, it is hard to covey a message among the majority of the population. But, it will happen evetually and we need to be patient for that.

I think this will definitely take some time. Cryptocurrency market has not developed fully and there are many unexploited flaws which makes it unsuitable to be used as a currency. There must be some standard against which cryptos should be valued. In short, we definitely need the help of government in making the cryptocurrencies to be used for making real time purchases.
