Well based on experts, addicted gambler would never admit that he is suffering from addiction. He is always in denial even it came from his close friends or family that he's really addicted. It should be treated early before it becomes worse.

It's hard enough to admit your dependence on gambling, but if a person can not live a day without a game, then this is a clear sign of a beginning or long-term dependence.
That is the first sign, though you cannot tell it yourself that you are addicted to it, but your friends, parents, loved ones and other people. After that, you will be starting to find your own ways to gamble even you don't have enough money, you might either borrow money or create a crime to gamble.

I just want to ask how would you know if a person is suffering from gambling addiction. Can you guys tell me the signs of it?
Signs that I had back then when I thought I also had a gambling addiction were, you think about gambling all the day, the moment you have done money you think of doubling it by gambling, your performance at your job starts to decline because you can't ficus there also, due to which I have been kicked out of a few jobs too. Also after losing in casino you come home and start searching about the hacks of that game or how to cheat in it and never get caught, so if you are suffering from any of these signs than u think that you should consult someone to have you checked up.

You will know you are suffering from a gambling problem but you won't want to admit that to yourself or anyone else. You will notice yourself that you can't think of anything else and nearly every bet is a sure thing because you have your own system. You will stress more about your bets as they become larger too. It is hard not to get suckered in but you have to just see gambling as fun.
If you are already an addicted gambler you wont realize that you are already got hooked by it.We might say to ourselves we are just playing for fun but our actions signifies already as an addicted one.You would only realize that stuff when you are already facing the consequences in the end.This is why we should not let ourselves would come into that state.

According to me you can never know if you are addicted to something, people around you may tell you that you are addicted because you think or spend too much time on it. Signs would be Not able to take your mind off it
Always thinking how to maximize profits
Not able to forget the losses
Chasing loss

Well it is easy to if you addicted to gambling if you noticed the addicted in gambling is they can't stop gambling even they don't have any money and also if they are in home they are still thinking about gambling and they can't live without gambling even for 1 day. if you are experiencing things to you, well you must seek a psychologist to guide or stop the addiction before it's too late.

Most view gambling as a vice, even an illness. I'm proud of my affliction. For me, the beauty of gambling lies in its sheer irrationality. While some successful gamers rely on complex schemes to improve their odds, real gamblers never try to count cards or read a strategy guide. I couldn't tell you the chances of drawing a straight flush, and that's why I like to wager that I'll pull one. Every card dealt promises unbounded opportunity. Every hand is like a fresh start on life. Of course the rush I feel in the casino might just be from the second-hand smoke, but I'd like to believe it lies in this dance with fate.
I have never ever seen such a poetic comment regarding gambling. Today, for the first time I have been able to see it from a new and very diffwerent angle. Everyone has his own way of obsrving the world. Honestly Sir, you must start writing about the world of gambling. Personally, I don't like this game because I don't find it useful. For me, it is like wasting your time and money.

Judging myself, I can't do it because I can simply tell that I'm not addicted nor I won't admit that I'm an addicted one. It's better to ask others when it comes to dependent on gambling and let them tell you/us if we are addicted to gambling. But there are some points that we can tell ourselves if we are addicted to gambling just like if we can't sleep and we just always think about gambling.

If your family hates gambling and your afraid if a friend would see you engage in gambling then I think don't ever bet you can sure stay out from it if you don't really engage that must because gambling is risky and addicting that is why so many people have a negative impression towards it, and all you need to do is just stay out from it and do another thing that you can sure get to earn money, because I really think the money you get from a bet is just a bonus in playing it, and you can not call it earning.

Yes.. that's one of the signs when your addicted to gambling. You'll also feel that you're in hunger for money and asks for more and when you do gambling you never stop playing without controlling yourself.

If you gambling and missing work that is definitely addiction. When gambling effects your social life it is gambling. When you stop doing things or going to events then you have gambling addiction. It is not easy to recognize it in yourself always, because it is bit easy to be honest with yourself about your addition.
If you are spending income you can't afford to then that is a clear sign of addiction and probably the most easy to spot. The best thing is to tell a close friend about it and see what they say.
