Yup, there are a few projects who may pan out long term, but most everything else is just a buy and wait for the pump to dump situation.
Most of the money has left crypto due to these shenanigans.

Look into the coin you like and see if it has any history and if it has a good development team and if that team is still active and producing relevant updates and products to support the coin. Even all that if good is no guarantee of a price value rise. After all that then go with your gut. Hope that helps.
