That's a good point. US people tend to believe that they are the only "Americans". Well, looking at the map I would argue there are a few more countries on the Amercian continent though...

Why do you think stupidity is just exclusivity of Americans?
I travel a lot, I can assure you that you can find stupidity everywhere...

You have a lot of people who were born in the late 60s / early 70s and just want to have a good time. The culture in the 80s was all about ignoring reality and fuck all, just party. Kind of like the 60s and 70s, but in the 60s and 70s people partied while doing political action. In the 80s they dropped the political action and just kept the partying. The people who were born in the late 70s and early 80s (who grew up in the 90s) are more critical IMO, they're realists. The people born in the 90s who grew up in 00's are similar in a lot of respects but tend to not be as critical as those 10 years older.

The people who control the USA now, grew up in the 80s. A complete fucking waste of a generation. We'll have to spend the next 30 years trying to undo all the terrible shit they're doing -- if it will even be possible...

What makes you make such general conclusions? Isn't that stupid?
But ok. My opinion is that there are bright minds in every country. At least in the US there are opportunities to develop and apply your talent...

Yes!!! We shouldn't generalize anything. Because this is the mentality of prejudice. We should really move past this. Now, i think that USA maybe has more "stupid" people but information is actually readily available and accessible. What i think the USA has more of is that more critical thinking and now problem solving skills.

How can you say that? What made you think that they are stupid? And in what sense? Aren't Americans supposed to support fellow Americans? Well, if I am to anseer that question. May be from some of the western European nations. The Europeans (especially the left-leaning ones) doesn't appreciate the Americans that much. And that is quite justified in my opinion... The Americans are always arrogant and want to play the world police. This can be irritating to the people living in the other nations. But even then, I would blame the government rather than the people.

Americans are stupid. Dementia exists everywhere, yes. What distinguishes stupidity in America is that most Americans - those that are stupid - do not believe that being So people say. In particular, foreigners, not Americans. But many Americans also believe that Americans are stupid. Not they, of course. They think that other stupid is bad. Instead of being ashamed of it, they are stupid and proud of it.
