Always on google trying to find out little bits of info on Bitcoin. Nearly always ended up on here reading the answer so decided to sign up. Lurked for months just reading threads and not really posting, decided to start posting a couple of days ago.

from coinchat. after the incident with TradeFortress' Inputs.io (which I wasn't aware of at the time)
Googling something bitcoin related... took me to a link in this forum and now i'm here 
From a Facebook friend who's tired of answering my noob questions regarding to bitcoin and he referred me here 
I just googled "bitcoin forum". Was wanting somewhere to discuss and find out more information about bitcoin and trading and now here I am.

The question here is, how did you find bitcointalk? Did you hear about it from a friend, from the news, or google itself? I'm excited to see how this poll is going to turn out!
Personally, I found out about it from a friend who bragged about winning alot from gambling. I came to Primedice, which brought me over to here.

I found btct on another forum related with BTC.
Someone was redirecting people to a promo giving away cash value of BTC. I got curious about BTC and started searching till finding this forum.

OP, isnt it a bit rude that you listed google but not yahoo or bing?
Yea he should correct that as "Search Engines", not just Google. There are like 10 big search engines but everyone talks about Google only.
Yeah as we know that google is a king of search engine,but actually iam only using google for search anything because when i used another search engine sometimes i didnt find what i've searched

I read Slashdot and have for years. There was an article talking about Bitcoin releasing version .04 or something like that and I did a search to find out what Bitcoin was. That led me to the forum.
Found about it from google when I started to know all about BTC
I had too much questions andd everyone i typed in google , it came first ....

I was looking for a bitcoin forum back then to do some search about it and to learn more. And I ended up here. Tons of people and a great community.
