I have heard bitcoin in 2012 first time, one of my friend who comes from Russia was playing an online game i don't remember the name, he was buying and selling some game stuff in there, like swords or armorS.. He was using the bitcoin in there and that was something not important to me, how could i possible know that game coin would come this far..

How I heard about bitcoin started early 2015 when I was searching for means in which I will use to earn some money to help support my schooling because I'm an undergraduate. So I was introdue into an online business by a friend called MMM (As of then I never knew it was ponzi) the way it was presented (mouth watery bonuses) made me to engage in it fully and started marketing it. I became successful at it made some cool cash too.
When it became famous in my country I decided to explore all its benefits then I saw an advert of BItcoin I picked interest because it was offering 50% ROI monthly while my local currency was 30%ROI. So then my journey began in the Cryptocurrency world. I became fully a Cryptopreneur January 2016 after my wanna be cryptocoin called TBC (thebillioncoin) failed me. I have made some few mistakes afterwards but I can proudly say, me picking interest in Bitcoin (cryptocurrency) from a Ponzi biz, is one of the most smartest move I have ever made in my life.

A friend on Indian forum introduced me to Bitcoin, then Stellar airdrop back in 2015 made me dive bit dipper, unfortunately I didn't hold it.

I came across Bitcoin when I was still new to telegram and found out about some telegram bots claiming to give out Bitcoins which later turned out to be false, later on someone in a group I was on WhatsApp sent a link to a group filled with people who did airdrops that was where my main journey started

I learned about it from my friend Hookahman who told me that you can make good money on it in the summer of 2017. then I fell in love with a manic cryptocurrency, and I have been interested in it to this day

I was interested in making money online after been scam by many HYIP which made me furious. I sighted an advert that was talking about bitcoin and crypto exchange on one of these HYIP website. That was the beginning of my interest in bitcoin.

I heard it from my friend that encourage me to try, he even give me the Bitcoin to try to cash into the bank, at first I am not really interested because I have been cheated so many times, and I am one of the MMM victim, so at that point I didn't have any big expectations, but when the price keep on going up,that is when I became serious with Bitcoin, and now I already start to enjoy the result of my work

INTERESTING POST COLLEAGUE! I was also a member of that MMM( Mavrodi Mondial Movement). Even though it was a ponzi scheme, but the returns were awesome especially when you traded in bitcoin at that time.
Anyway, I first heard about bitcoin in 2013, at a seminar in my school. I was so scared to invest because everything I heard about it was perceived imaginable. But now, I have tasted and enjoyed the benefit of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. believe it or not, I am a strong advocate for cryptos.........

a very interesting story, and MMM is ponzi, even until today. even though MMM today accepts transactions using bitcoin, but the characteristics of MMM are always ponzi.
in my opinion, you are part of the person who is actively looking for information about bitcoin, and you are very lucky, you are out of the Ponzi world and starting with the crypto world.
my advice is don't stop to explore any information about crypto to increase your knowledge and join the crypto community in your country.

Two years ago, an acquaintance borrowed money from me and did not give it away for a long time, and then offered to return Bitcoin and I was forced to find out more about cryptocurrency. I agreed to take the debt in bitcoins. Imagine how happy I was at the end of last year.

I don't listen to negative things about btc because as for me it is the trustworthy system which will replace our standard currency with time and we need to invest in it at the moment

I have a job that, unfortunately, does not bring me a high income. But I have always had a desire to make good money for a comfortable life. And quite by chance a friend told me about bitcoins and that it is fashionable now. Of course I'm interested in this topic and since then every day I spend on different forums for the study of cryptocurrency, and it's crazy I like. Besides, I like it even more when I started getting real income.

Heard about Bitcoin from a friend, that was in search for a way out of poverty, as a result of unemployment after our degree programme, He introduce the BitcoinTalk platform to, for me to learn, research and be equipped before the journey commence, It has beena profitable endeavour from 2017 till this moment.

i think we both shared the same story, though i was introduced into bitcoin by a close friend, who was also the same person that introduced me to mmm, after loosing half of my live savings to the ponzi scheme, i found shelter in bitcoin and i have no cause to regret my decisions.

I had a certain amount of money accumulated over the summer work, and I was looking for where to invest profitably. I also got into a few Scam projects until I came across bitcoin. And it really gave me an opportunity to make money.

An old random post on a forum that I was checking out in early 2011. I mined a bit on my laptop (had a gpu) on slushes pool and forgot about it. Got back into it about 6 months later.

I read a post on a forum and then mined some on a GPU and forgot about it, only to get back in a year or so
there was also a standalone programme that mined bitcoins and offered ingame online money in return for some forgotten now game
so then I read more about it and finally found bitcointalk-the best source of information about bitcoins for me then and now
there was gpu mining of a coin per day, getting scammed by 50btc pool in between and many more interesting and not so interesting things

Heard 1st time from the biggest scam in crypto, bitconnect.
Most people are get multiple profits but the rest sucks a lot.
from there i learn a lot and end up in this forum and learn a lot again

I got involved in bitcoin in 2017 after the popular ponzi scheme MMM became bankrupt while trying to resuscitates the scheme they decided to start payment using bitcoin this prompted me to fully research and seek more information about bitcoin I was amazed with all the discoveries I made as regards the use and benefits of adopting bitcoin.
