Honestly, most of us were not crypto experts when we joined this forum.
On the one hand, we were interested in crypto and on the other hand, we knew almost nothing about crypto.
Honestly, in the beginning, it was much easier for me to communicate on my local board and ask questions than on the English part of the forum.
On that side, I really like the organization of this forum and the existence of many local boards because it helps new members a lot in the beginning of their crypto journey.

The local forum became a home for us to start growing when we first entered this forum knowing nothing about crypto. I started to learn little by little from the various discussions that I participated in. The initial plan to enter this forum certainly interested me because there were lots of bounties that could be worked on and could be rewarded, but being a newbie at that time was quite difficult because I had limited knowledge about crypto. The longer you stay in this forum, the more you understand what to do. now, beginners need to try harder so that they are recognized and can survive in this forum.

There is no magic to increase your activity and merit in short. You should be active and build informative conversations with the forum's people by creating knowledgeable threads and replies to other people. Your activity and merits increased in a short period but this is only possible when you are consistent. Remember that consistency is the key to Success for working in the forum and Other parts of life. Time table for working on the forum is creating and managing the workflow when you are Free 4Power hours working method to grow and succeed in Bitcointalk. You only work 4 hours per day with full consistency and hard work and you will get the fruit of 10 hours but in 4 hours switch off interaction and sit on the clock. I hope this working strategy will help you quickly grow in the forum.

I think the op should edit this post and allow every one irrespective of their rank to also contribute since there's no much difference between the op and the other ranks which are not allowed to contribute on this topic.

Aside the OP being of a lower rank like the same members he thinks he doesn’t need opinions from, I think the opinions of everyone( including the low ranked members)at the very least deserves a listen. Newbies could share their thoughts and opinions and someone could learn from it.
I think the OP should be more open to reading and learning from the thoughts and opinions of everyone irrespective of their ranks as we could learn from literally anyone on here. No one knows it all and as surprising as it may seem to some members, some newbies are knowledgeable and have lots to share.

No need to complicate things and pressuring yourself just because you are a newbie. As long as you know the rules and never meant to break it, then start your posting journey in the forum. However, make sure you DYOR first before you try to engage in any discussion especially in threads that you are not familiar to. The more you do it, the bigger chances you will learn a lot more in the forum. Just be yourself and do your task in your best ability and skills, in the long run you will notice that your post is getting close to highly valuable posts like those veterans in the forum do. And before you knew it, getting merits will be easier for you.

I have been a member of many Internet forums in my life, so it was not difficult for me to get used to this forum.
I've been a member of this forum for almost 10 years, and since I didn't really know much about crypto or bitcoin in the beginning, I mostly wrote in the offtopic and read the posts of other, older and more experienced members.
Over time, I started writing in my local board and later I became active in the English part of the forum.
As I learned more and gained more experience about crypto and bitcoin, I started writing more in other parts of the forum. I think it's a natural path for all forum members.

I think identifying with local boards helps alot because there is much freedom of association and speech to the ordinary levels there. There and then one could ask questions in their local languages because it gives way for proper understanding, guidance and support for newbies to easily adapt to the system.

It's quite easy if you are into posting and typing a lot. Personally, it's very secondary to consider that I could earn from signature campaigns and not so much towards making the account level higher than I could earn. It's important that you understand that you are bringing value to the forum and making sure that you are not repeating everything or something. Do not spam and you will do great.

Being morally good in terms of posting and understanding the rules here will get you far. Reading a lot and understanding it would save you from all the hassle.

There is absolutely no magic in all this, it's all a learning process that starts and never ends. When you join the forum as a newbie, you don't know anything at all, especially about the forum and its rules and regulations and how things work around here unless you have been a member of a similar forum before which was not the case with me. You start surfing around, reading topics, seeing writing patterns or other members, and keep exploring.

As time goes on, if you are sharp enough, you will see that you are learning everything slowly, the process cannot be fast, so you shouldn't worry about your rank or anything initially because as you move forward, you will learn everything and when that happens, your rank will start going up itself without you being worried about it.

Be aware of the rules (this is greatly important). Put some effort on learning how the forum works. Spend some time on the Meta board and beginners & help. We also have local sections here where you can communicate freely using youre native language.
Make sure that you understand the topic before you hit that "Post" button. Be relevant.
Engage naturally, you do not need to fear anyone here, except the rules.

I started with the intention of satisfying my curiosity and as such was eager to follow up with the rules. It sounded farfetched that such a place like this existed where all you need is to exchange useful information about life generally, but majorly centering on Bitcoin discussion. It became a challenge to me when I saw that others get merited for a post I started whereas I had none and this increased my appetite to do better.
There's the saying that "what is worth doing, is worth doing well and as such, growing in ranks and recognition in this forum is all about dedication and your hunger for knowledge and to achieve that, you ought to be an omnivorous reader cause no idea or knowledge is useless.

The basic thing for the forum is dedication and interest. If you have interest to learn about cryptocurrency and you come across this forum then that will become a primary interest to be here and dedicate time for it. This should be the driving force before any other thing. Merit system is what was introduced to the forum around 2018 so it was not there from beginning, don't focus on merit or be so worked up about it but if you give the best in your dedication and improve on your contribution, the merit will be attracted to you.

Merit is not everything since even if we don't get that we can still learn a lot of things here. So maybe newbies should not focus to accumulate that since its little bit annoying if they cannot get it since not all the time people will send some merit on every post they made. They should treat that as a bonus so that they will not expect anything huge from this and if they target to join on any campaign then maybe they should not rush all things and be a good contributor since this will came if they contribute a relevant post quality to all people here.

Yes, the platform is very vast that there are still things yet to be learnt and even at then, as we learn the little we know here more things and discoveries comes up that we still need to learn too keeping it a clockwise activities to learn again and again continuously as we all know learning is a continuous process. Some how, merits are some worth encouraging and as a matter of fact encourages more work from members here. Permit me to say this that merit seems to be the beauty of ones efforts onboard this platform because with it, one grows in rank and also you see it as a  result and efforts of your labour and contribution here.

how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum
As a newbie,I started by reading a lot and I hardly post because I find it difficult to understand the discussion. The only board that I find easy was politics and society and Economy. If I post on Beginners and help board,my post will be deleted by the moderator. As time goes on learning and making research helped me to start understanding and having idea on what to post and some topics created by forum members. Gradually,I started to grow by the exchanging knowledge and continuous study. Fillippone was also a great help because I was still a member when he made this thread.     https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-share-your-best-poststhreads-with-fillippone-to-be-merit-assessed-5412657

and also on how you  share your time table for the forum.
This is very easy,I became an addict to the forum that after work or during break time at work,I will login to the forum but I do enjoy my time on the forum mainly in the evenings after supper. If you have the interest of learning in the forum, it will be easy for that person to grow here.

I dont think anybody is performing magic on the forum here, and am not having time table, but i don't know if other people are having, am always on forum whenever am less busy or am bored. You also mentioned how people got their merit and post count, if you are posting frequently your post count will definitely increase and if you are making meaningful contribution to posts on forum here, then you will definitely receive merit, so i don't see anything special or difficult on the forum here only if you want to compromise things for yourself.

All what i will tell you is not to be desperate to get merit, if you are desperate then you wont get the merit and you might end up going against the forum rules, just post as a free man and with time you will be able to build your account.

My posting life as a newbie was through a lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency and as a one-liner poster because I join the forum through an altcoin which is now quenched off the market but it was introduced to me by a friend. Almost giving up then until I learn that there's more to cryptocurrency and that this forum also has vast benefits that will totally change my understanding of cryptocurrency investment.
Truly mate there is more to cryptocurrency than we think. Initially when i ventured into crypto as a newbie, my thoughts were just about buying and selling  cryptocurrency which is just the least about blockchain and even here too. After i got onboard, I had to do lots of research about this platform and on this platform i worked on my cryptocurrency knowledge and going vast and wide in knowing more about what bitcoin stands for and the sole reason it was invented by Satoshi, there and then i understood the essence of crypto, my reason changed and i began doing lots of activities on crypto and on this platform i worked to making sure i contribute in comments and posts so as to aid newbies scale through the platform. This has been my journey so far.
It's normal for newbies to think that investing in cryptocurrencies involves buying low and selling high, but it's not normal to learn more about the ecosystem. The sad reality is that in the past, it was more difficult to get access to up-to-date information about cryptocurrencies than it is now, where newcomers can quickly find information that will improve their understanding.

Before now as you have said, getting information was very hard as the awareness of crypto was not that popular. If one should be able to get an update about anything crypto then, it must be through any one who has idea and contact of another who is into the system too as you barely get update on it through any medium compared to now that information about crypto and bitcoin is circulated everywhere through social media and lots more.
Nevertheless, as a newbie with no much knowledge about bitcoin and crypto the first thought that sinks into the mind is buying and selling of crypto to making instant profit at the initial time of learning about crypto which is normal but as time goes on with exposure and experience, you find out that it is amongst the least on crypto list and there re more to crypto than just buying and selling and their mentality changes and their thoughts begin to align with the reality that crypto is an evolution of financial freedom and lots more.

I think the op should edit this post and allow every one irrespective of their rank to also contribute since there's no much difference between the op and the other ranks which are not allowed to contribute on this topic.
Back to the question of the op, I think being here as a newbie was one of the challenges I encountered because then I was so scared of what to comment since I have no knowledge about the things of the forum nor cryptocurrency but as time goes on, I realized that with thousands of information being shared freely here, a newbie who's notion is to gain knowledge can actually learn faster if such person is dedicated to learning and being more active here and constant reading and research is the best way for a newbie to grab things here faster.

I drew my inspiration not to give up after I read about a member here who spent almost two years as a full member without progressing to another rank due to lack of merit but when he finally gained the knowledge, he surprised everyone I think that story is enough to motivate anyone who's planning to give up to stay strong. Be active, real, dedicated and avoid cheating you will be happy to see how fast you will go here.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Aha.!!! Is this supposed to be a self-moderated thread or what? You should have done it the proper way instead - it's not right to prevent anyone from talking under your post except otherwise.
Well, uhhhh ....my account was dormant for a long time cus I was plagued with an ailment that I had to be operated; at the time, I had only few merits - say 16... Then nothing really happened. I came back fully and I was inspired by this man - Mocacino. He gave me a clue on how to survive in here and that was what I lived with, until I started developing myself. Malek, Jay and philipma also inspired me at some point, then I grew strong in faith; ain't no magic honestly.

When I joined this forum there was no merit system yet, so I became a Hero member by just posting whatever came to mind, and I didn't have a goal of joining signature campaign, my main motivation of checking the forum was looking for jobs and altcoin bounties, so I was only making a few posts per day to keep increasing the activity score. As I earned more bitcoins, I became very interested in how Bitcoin works and what awaits it in the future, I started participating in discussions and started earning merit for my posts.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.
This was my story as well, i has a high rank account before i even realized that there are bounties to make money from, might have been hero. I mostly posted under announcements to keep up what's happening and to argue with the fudsters. I think every single one of those coins has died already so fudsters were right in the end. Also altcoin announcements were the place where i found new mineable coins (before icos) with fair launches to not so fair launches.

Before when you reach the amount of post you will automatically rank up , I forgot when will be the day of week where people will rank up according to their post and activity. Right now, this forum's quality is improving because of the merit system but sometimes don't get offended I saw some who gives merit consecutively to single person I dunno maybe they are friends or what but I don't mind , I just want to have a peaceful sr member here in the forum and I got knowledge and wisdom for free.

There was no merit system when I first joined and the forum was still very quiet. There were only a few senior members who continued to be active until now. I started my posts even by joining bounty campaigns and if I did so nowadays, I would be considered a spammer. After starting to understand and get used to the forum, I participated in various discussions to broaden my knowledge. Then after the merit system was implemented, being a more productive and active member was encouraged.  People will give merit to posts that deserve to be rewarded, so you need to do the hard work from now onwards

Thank you very much for this. It is a gradual process in the forum to make progress.
When I first started here so many years ago, it was all about making money and shilling projects. So I did not have the time to use the forum in a normal way of discussion with people unless about the project and announcement.

That was how I started my journey. But at a time I gave up everything I became so interested in the gambling board where I discuss football in the mega threads and I derive so much joy doing it.

But at a time(recently), I see myself integrating fully into the forum by using it the normal way of forum, like discussion, sharing knowledge and replying posts and mentions.

Man just be very participative. Search bar will be very helpful and posting on the right thread is one most the game changer for me. Not only that, there would be times that once you feel that there's a value exchange in the forum, something will click on you. You will truly find some post that is relevant to your own experience and you make it a basis of your own research. From there you build interactions with other members. Having the perspective of the next person is always helpful. And also like I said it's an exchange of views, so you got to be generous too to share your experience and ideas.

The first thing newbies should do is to gain knowledge as well as have to practicing patience. When a person learns to be patient, he will be able to take his knowledge a step further. I think he should make a habit of reading posts rather than posting early. The more posts you read, the more knowledge you will gain. There are also many users in the forum who have more merit than post activity. As much time as a person spends in this platform, he will get the results accordingly. But the interesting thing is that for those who are hungry for knowledge, this platform will help them to reach the set goals very quickly.

I don't think there is any magic or secret to be an active member, some people are just up for discussion anytime on any topic, some are up for certain time and certain topic, some are just like to read and observe, so if you wish to be higher rank member in a quicktime then you better be up for discussion anytime on any topic, but it will likely that you post some spam and its not good.

For me personally I just do what I enjoy, I never think about my rank, or merit or anything, I post anything that I want, whenever I want, never have any schedule too.

I first learned crypto trading on an exchange recommended by a friend of mine before finally finding this forum through an internet search when looking for some Bitcoin related news.
When I created the account I didn't know much, but I went to the local council and sent a PM to one of the active members to explain how this forum works. he told me how to earn Bitcoins on forums by joining campaigns, to be honest, it caught my attention.
however, there may be more of them coming to forums as well to earn Bitcoins from forum campaigns.

When i started here in the forum merit system doesnt really exist that time so you could pretty much post anything that you wanted without worrying on getting a merit or not. You could just rank up if you have a lot of post on your account by default by just waiting your the 2 weeks to past. So probably there was more of spamming that time when I first started here in the forum.

What I do is just ask anything that I just want to know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I also started on my cryptocurrency journey so there are a lot of things that i dont have any idea at all. But thats the good thing since I could pretty much just post it here in the forum and members is going to help me figure it out which is probably the best thing. Also I answer a lot of question that i have an idea on, sharing my journey and experience on scam websites, exchangers, gambling etc. Theres no competetion on the forum so you could post anytime that you wanted to, surely members here is going to reward you merits if you have a lot of useful topic and put your effort on it.

I don't think there is any magic behind this. This is a forum, like many other forums that exist online. You should get involved in discussions on topics that interest you. Asking and answering questions, helping and giving advice to other members where you can, expressing your opinion... Don't worry if you don't have all the answers right away, nobody expects you to be an expert from the start. The key is to engage, learn, and contribute in a way that feels comfortable to you. Over time, as your knowledge grows, you'll naturally feel more confident in actively participating in discussions.

So basically this forum is for sharing knowledge and engaging in conversations related to Bitcoin and crypto in general. I feel as a starting point you need to gain a basic understanding of how Bitcoin works on your own and then  you can learn a lot of things here, members here are really friendly and willing to help if you don't understand something. If you're interested in ranking up your account, I recommend staying active and posting regularly.

You can share cool ideas, knowledge, engaging in good conversations or seek help in any way you need. It's important to make constructive posts if you're looking for merits because that's really important to rank up Smiley

As for time management, personally I use the forum a few days a week typically for about 10 to 12 hours. I spend time reading news, participating in conversations and sharing ideas or experiences.

Good luck OP!

In the newbie stages, it's always going to be hard because many newbies don't have the proper knowledge to keep their conversations smooth with other forum members, so they also find it boring because of the knowledge they don't have. But as time goes on, when newbies getting more knowledge about the forum, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in general, and other topics involved in discussion in the forum, they improve, and the conversation in the forum becomes easier. There is nothing like magic in terms of activities and merit earning, but it depends on how you dedicate your time and always contribute valuable information to the forum.

You should have started by self moderating the thread since, for some reasons, you don't want newbies and Jr. Members to participate in the discussion. But, I think they'll bring the best response to this thread because their beginning is still fresh to them. I can't personally recall exactly how I started the journey here, it all boils down to creating threads and making responses to the forum. And one faithful morning a merit source located my account and gave out good number of merits that led me to full membership, and after that period I stopped visiting the forum because of work and later when I began posting again my merit count was increasing by 2 gradually till it got to this point. Consistency is key here.

There's nothing like magic in this forum. The more you engage in discussions, the more your post count grows and consequently your activities. Merit on the other hand can be obtained when your post is top quality, educative and helpful to others. You should also note that nobody owes you merit and they can only give it out when they will. Thou keeping and hoarding it to themselves has no any impact and the forum has the right to void it.

My experience as a newbie might be some how funny because at first, I find it difficult to post despite going through some rules to familiarize with posting etiquette but the phobia of not making quality posts kept disturbing until I develop the courage one day and till today I am still working on myself to improve more than before.

Moreover, the forum is just like your social medias where you share ideas with friends, relatives and people who don't even know. The more you dedicate your time to forum, the more you begin to understand it. The strict supervision by moderators has put the forum ahead of other social medias. Hardly to see irrelevant content here and people are ready to provide solutions to your problems once you share it not like other media where the comment deviate from the post.

please on behalf of all the newbies we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum and also on how you  share your time table for the forum
This forum contains discussions about bitcoin and other crypto worlds. So basically having this knowledge is definitely necessary if you want to seriously participate in this forum. Even though you are still a beginner in this forum, your participation will definitely be highly appreciated if you have very good ideas, ideas and knowledge about crypto. Because these points are the basic points to make it easier for you to make a post and to get a merit, if your post is really interesting and useful. So if you still feel confused about posting or about how to get a lot of merit. In essence, you just have to be someone with character and have out the box or unique thoughts about your posts. Then you also have to really enjoy living it, don't make all the activities you do in this forum a burden. Because if you think like that, it will definitely be difficult for you to develop, because you still don't enjoy what you do in this forum.

Regarding the right time to open this forum, it depends on when you have free time. Because there will always be other activities, so use the time you have to open this forum.

And in conclusion, if you want to develop more in this forum, you have to be more able to enjoy and be sincere in making posts or replying to other people's posts, don't be too hasty and just enjoy the flow.

When I joined this forum last 2017, my first focus was to familiarize myself with all the internal rules and regulations in order to prevent any mistake from happening. I frequently asked our local boards for guidance and support and I also did my research about the forum.

When the merit system was implemented, this actually pushed me to further contribute to the forum. Despite my efforts, I realized that creating discussions and replying with an extensively-written reply did not equate to me earning merits. So, I shifted my focus to reporting scammers and hackers across the forum.

The beauty of doing this act is that you receive the best of both worlds- not only do you help cleanse the forum and warn users about hack/scam projects under the ANN board; but you also receive merits due to your hard work.

Again, let this not cloud your goal of contribution. When you actually think of contributing, merits become secondary to your purpose.

There is actually nothing to it and no magic involved.
You share your knowledge, thoughts and opinions with others on here as well as learning some things in return. You should want to be unique as that would make you stand out from the rest and get you some attention(hopefully positive ones).

You could also want to be civil in your interactions with people on here as well as being thick skinned so as not to let words as hurtful as they may seem, get to you.
As for merits, If you actually put in some effort to want to learn new things on here as well as teaching others what you know, then merits would definitely locate you.

It takes some strategy to get what you want, understanding and applying all the rules in the forum, one of the points that can make you avoid something that has been set as a ban. Need to throw away Mindset hard to get Merit, You can read some tips on how to get merit from more senior members or those that have been described in the pinned topics.
Practicing slowly how to take the time to be able to stop at the forum on the sidelines of your busy life outside the forum, do it patiently and listen to guidance from seniors is the best way to increase your knowledge in the forum. Lastly, you must have the intention to move forward and try to stay consistent so that your goal of joining the forum can be achieved.

There's no much of a big deal about it, how I started my posting journey as a newbie in the forum may not apply well for you as it did for me, so all you need do is to find your own way of creating your posts that makes you stand out differently. Take myself for instance, I started with spending much time reading posts and comments of higher rank members just to acquaint myself with what the forum is all about.

Moving forward, I had to make sure I was copying down every link of any post that the topic interests me and it's important in building my knowledge about the forum, especially posts that entails about the rules and regulations of the forum, and others that both the topics and discussions delves on techniques on how newbies could grow in knowledge about crypto. Example of many of those links I have in my collection is this thread by @Pugman which is all about questions and answers about bitcoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-simple-bitcoin-qa-learn-new-and-interesting-stuff-about-bitcoin-2968050 I
therefore ended up having a collections of post links where I can always go back to read those posts by just clicking on the link seamlessly. By this method I was able to develop my posting quality gradually even till date.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.

Every newbie has a specific goal; the only difference is how much time and attention they put into accomplishing what they came here to do. Depending on the course taken, laziness or proactiveness will make the path easier or more difficult.
Most of the newbies right now have 1 goal in this forum. To post bounty threads a proof of authentication on a weekly basis. That's why they still at newbie rank even though they've been registered here in the forum for years already. Cheesy

Well, the problem with some newbies right now is that, they are looking this forum as more of a source of income rather than a place where you can gather information with regards to crypto. Like what @hatsheput93 said, forcing yourself to do something you don't want will just make you more stressful, and in the end you will be the one that will suffer.

~
I just shared what I know, and that's it.

There's no secret formula on how to rank up here in the forum. You just know what you are saying. You just need to make quality posts, and merits will be given to you. Of course this isn't 100%, but bottom line is if you are contributing to the forum by making quality posts, you will be given merits.

You still have a long way to grind that's for sure unless you've been into crypto for a long time already then you can contribute here already even though you're a newbie. Always research. Always contribute. As for me, when I was a newbie, I can consider myself as a shitposter at that time, but I'm slowly learning the basics at that time. I might said wrong things when I was a newbie (might still until now), but I'm more confident on what I'm saying since I gathered enough information that helped me construct a not-so high quality posts.

please on behalf of all the newbies we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum and also on how you  share your time table for the forum,
1. There is no magic for post count because if you post actively your actively your post count will increase gradually. But you may ask about how you did magic on Merit count. To get Merits regularly you just need to help others, share resources, contribute in the forum. So I also tried them and also we need patience beside contributing in the forum regularly.

2. This forum is a place to discuss about Crypto and many more. So anyone can ask or open a topic to discuss. This forum is also a perfect learning place so learning and helping others will be the best to do.

3. As I am a student I have a low of free times and I don't waste so much time in social accounts but I enjoy spending times in this forum. So when I am free then try to spend times here. So I have aparted some time to browse forum from my daily routine.

Keeping in mind that you still have a long way to go is dependent on your objective and target, as well as your determination to work towards that goal. If you're here to learn and gain some merits as you participate to the forum, you should contribute quality post more to the forum, join discussions, and bring possible solutions to concerns presented here. Overall, broaden your knowledge here and contribute to the forum to move you closer to your objective.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.

The things that a newbie should do are research, read and learn from it. Just be yourself and be honest on what you want to post like an article made by someone and you want to post it here on the forum as your own which will get your account banned. It doesn't have to be very hugh quality post as long as everyone can understand what you mean. One more thing, it is also important to follow the forum rules. Just be who you are, that's all.

It is believed that every millions miles begins with a step, being a newbie, you just have to start from somewhere after building your confidence, because to be honest with you, i have that kind of fear from the start that how will i go about this, gradually i begin to learn, read and research and i see myself getting acquainted with some knowledge, those things you're learning are what will pull the trigger for you to post, but not just an ordinary post but a quality one if truly you've learnt something, then don't feel too inferior with your rank, be free and express your true feelings while discussing.

Me personally I don't have a time table, my merit is not even equal to my activities, I have been here for years since 2018, but that doesn't not stop me from making post when I have the time to. This is all base on personal interest, if you are very interested with the forum and need to spend more time here fine. but if you are occupied with other works and you only visit here when you are free also fine.

About activities, they all work and update as you continue posting every 14 days 14 activities update for you.

Merit; I don't have much of it, but I believe it comes as a result of dropping quality post, but having in mind or always asking about merit do delay the merit coming, because you might end up being noisey and posting things which are completely irrelevant because you are in search for merit.

Here same thing too here I post activity and merit doesn't match at all  Grin

Back in 2014 there is no merit system and what I do as a newbie is asked to older rank/older members here if i don't know just ask them some people will answer it and try to blend with other and then I become hero member hahah

Tho I like to be in this forum doing posts and sometimes got paid from it, sometimes or most of the time I learned a new thing on this forum. Some of the news  also updated on here.

Little advice just learn more and keep reading you will learn and you will get the "fruit" at the end of the day.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.

we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum...
There is no big recommendation other than telling you to be yourself, understand why you are here which is to learn and exchange knowledge, read the rules, and develop the habit of reading with understanding topics that have been started already. When you read and understand, if it is a topic that you know, there will be a contribution for you to make to it.

how you  share your time table for the forum,
I am on the forum most times because I can access it on my phone, the moment I pick up my mobile phone, rather than wasting my data subscription on irrelevant things on social media, I always try to access the forum to read up and engage in new discussions.

I can be outside my home and in the forum, I can be in the midst of other activities and take a break to read forum discussions. At some point, the forum just becomes a part of you, not something you make out time to do because you feel obligated to, but something you just do.

Become consistent with the forum, and it will become a part of you.

Well, the primary basis of the forum is to learn and also share your ideas with other forum members.

  • The more you engage topics, create topics in the forum; the better your post count grows.
  • The more knowledge and zeal with in your posts and comments in your forum will lead to you earning merits. So the core focus should be making valuable contributions in the forum and the other will follow suit quite easily. The truth is the forum is a happy place to be.
.
So the question would be how valuavle is your posts and comments (contributions) in the forum

In addition to your other question, I do not think You need a time table to use the forum, you can use the forum every hour of day; it all depends on your own schedule. If you notice, you would see new threads being made in the midnight, morning, afternoon and in the night. If you have a thread or post you want to track, you can set up notifications for the replies of that topic (thread) and you can easily follow up on the topic
