Hi There,

I wanted to know the easiest (and cheapest) and safest way to get FIAT for some of my ETH --
Max cash out would be around $5000CND at a time

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi! I just want to know what was your trading site that you use before? Because I have a lot of trading that I've tried but there is only one I need to use, majority for is hitbtc, compared to other site, it has low fees for me and a fast transaction. I think it is also safer than the others.

There so many trading site's exchange platform  that you can choose, to exchange your ethereum  to fiat currency even they have different market caps, but before that y,ou must exchange your ethereum to bitcoin  and  my suggestion platform sites to exchange in hitbtc and convert it to a dollar or local currency, and about the market caps i thinks they are affordable and accommodated.

This will be not the strain financial operation. Convertion to Bitcoin will be needed. After you do it (compare the rates of exchanges), you can easily convert Bitcoin into dollars. Easy. There are so many variants to do this.
You can also try this card - epayments.com, this is hidden gem card! Very convenient.

I would exchange Etherium for Bitcoin and then exchange Bitcoin for USD through the localbitcoin site. Usually I do, everything goes well.

i think the easiest way to cash out your ETH to Fiat is convert your ETH to Bitcoin and then you can exchange your bitcoin to Fiat
You can sell your bitcoin which just convert at localbitcoins or some the same site like localbitcoins. Good luck

If it were me I would convert to BTC or Dash and sell on https://wallofcoins.com/en/ This way you can avoid any problems with taxes and ID verification. Since it is only 5k you shouldn't have any issues with KYC or AML

When you sell on wallofcoins you can also sell at a  premium that automatically adusts throughout the day with the price of the currency. So you can just peg it at like a 5 or 10% premium

Cashing eth is just like cashing out bitcoin, convert eth into bitcoin first than cashit out. You can also use bitpanda like site where you can directly sell your eth for euro and than transfer it to your bank account via sepa.

There are a lot of points you can pay Bitcoin, as well as Ethereum. Let us not fool ourselves that now these are the two largest coins that are very valuable.

I think you need to provide information from where you are from, there are some local exchanges that will allow you to convert your Ether directly to fiat but because of low trading volume and demand that could be difficult to exchange. Convert to BTC and sell at localBitcoin

If you have eth, you can trade it in a market in exchange for bitcoin. And afterwards you can encash it. But i dont know with other countries because in our case right now, altcoins are not yet ready for encashment. Maybe in the near future

We can convert our BTC to fiat easily but ETH to fiat still these options are not in our local exchanger sites. We have to convert ETH to BTC and BTC to fiat. Or else search in your place if anyone is ready to buy your ETH for liquid cash. i think you will find someone.

Yup like some have said use Gdax. That way you can directly exchange the Ethereum and put it directly into your bank account. Not sure if there are limits on how much per day or week you can do.

Well, you can either find a friend or two that are both into crypto currencies amd are looking to buy some new alts. So you can save time and be safe from unexpected risks that may happen every time whem transacting crypto currencies online. Or you can just go and convert you alts to bitcoin and then sell your bitcoin for fiat. And boom! You're done. You can now go buy a lambo. Lol.

There are plenty of way to cash out your coins.

If it's a well known and strong coin, like ETH, LTC or BTC, there are a big chance that you find an exchange that allows convertion between those coins and your currency (EUR or USD for example).
CoinBase/Gdax allow that.

If you want to cashout lower altcoins, you'll have to find an exchange to sell them for Bitcoins, then cashout your BTC in FIAT.

For finding the best exchanges for each coins, I suggest you to check it on coinmarketcap, there are all the info that you need there.
