Agreed, that's the common method that not only the newbie, most of the traders follow. Users who can't afford much can hold small portions that they can afford as the price is high. Also I don't think that the price will fall down anymore less than $1000.

You don't think that it can go less than $1000 but it can happen as volitality occurs as dumpers dump bitcoin again. Also, I don't think they can do it easily since the buy order support in bitcoin is huge, thus it's hard to break it. However, if there is/are negative news woth regards bitcoin, it can really affect bitcoin and hope it won't happen. Let's be positve bitcoiners.

If the person does not aware of the bitcoin investment. Its not possible to check the correct posts in any thread. He need to be learn the skills via Youtube videos and articles available in Google search about bitcoin.
I suggest him to try the trading investment in localbitcoin and before that he can see the YouTube videos “How to trade in localbitcoins”. This search will provide numerous results in search. Go through with some videos.

That is the literally worst advice I have found out in this thread, at least im glad that you are a newbie, but you shouldn't spread such an information on this forum.
Actually there is no better place to learn about bitcoin, and investing in bitcoin (or other crypto's) than over here.
There are endless topics about investments, different types of trading (altcoins,fx,stocks etc) you can even find HYIP's and Cloudmining threads, but I would recommend to avoid them cuz they will bring only distraction to your mind, you never should rely on them as a source of money.

Just dont go for the mining if you are not good in technical stuff plus if you cannot afford to spend over 10 thousand USD for mining rigs.
