No doubt, Bitcoin is one of the fastest and smartest virtual currency that has been designed to support P2P and a transparent transaction between users on a decentralized network. There are many that has actually want to venture into bitcoin market investment, but no ideas on how to start.

If I have a client that wants to invest in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies, but he/she does not have any actue ideas on how the Bitcoin ecosystem works. How do I convince such person? what are the smartest ideas and informations I need to share to such person inorder to align with their vision?

I need suggestion to this.

If your customers are really interested and serious about investing in bitcoin, why do they need you to convince them to invest? Why don't they find out for themselves since learning about bitcoin has never been difficult when everything about it is available on the internet? As far as I can see, they are not serious and want to invest in bitcoin, they are just joking with you.

Also, do you think it's a wise decision to convince someone to invest in bitcoin when you could be blamed if their investment loses? We talk about these things a lot on the forum and convincing others to invest in bitcoin is a bad idea that we should avoid. Especially when it's your customers because you could lose those customers in the future.

Can't teach someone else about Bitcoin if you don't have a complete understanding of Bitcoin yourself.
My first question to you when you want to teach Bitcoin to your client is,
What do you mean by Bitcoin? Do you know the correct answer?

If don't know about Bitcoin yourself, you will miseducate others which can lead to losses later on. If the person you refer is interested in investing in Bitcoin, you should first let them know that you will invest as much as you can afford to lose. If a person wants to invest because of the greed of money, he should understand that it is not a get-rich-quick scheme।

Convincing someone to invest in bitcoin is not right, you know convincing someone is just the same as forcing someone to do something that he/she doesn't intend to do in the first place. you know how risky it can be when you force someone to do something maybe at the end it turns out not to work as it is planned, how did you think the person will react? That is why I don't like convincing someone because if anything should happen to his fund you will be hold responsible for it so I wouldn't want to involve myself in such, that is why I always avoid it.

Actually you can only lecture him on how bitcoin investment works or better still you can introduce him to this  forum  so he can learn and also have the understanding about how bitcoin investment works rather than convincing him to invest in bitcoin, because if you convince someone to invest in bitcoin it will look like scam to them.

Bitcoin is still volatile and risky(for the noobs, who don't know what they are doing). Why do you have to convince anyone to invest in BTC?
If he/she loses all his/her savings because of bad financial decisions(or because he/she got scammed), your client will put the blame on you. You don't want this to happen, don't you? The best thing to do is just to tell your client the basic stuff about Bitcoin and tell him/her to do his/her own research and find info about Bitcoin. The internet is full with information about Bitcoin/crypto and all the information is available for free.

If you know the basics of how the bitcoin ecosystem works, I think that you're already fine with a simple presentation, I don't think that your client is a stupid person so teaching them the basics with the help of models to compare with how the ecosystem works is in my opinion a really good way to do it, start out simple, let them learn all the basics, no need to get so fancy with how you tell people about bitcoin, always tell them both sides of the coin though, I think that this is important, it makes you not responsible when they experience losses when that's inevitably going to happen to them, tell them the pros and cons of bitcoin basically and let them decide.

Basically, you don't convince people to invest into Bitcoin because that's making it look like another HYIP and MLM for which that's how people are pursuant there because they'd earn from the people they'd invite. Yes, we know that Bitcoin isn't like that but giving that client of yours the materials or guides like Andreas Antonopoulos Bitcoin guide for beginners will be a good start for him. If it's about the technology and how it goes, you should give that person that idea instead of the investing way.

Go with in-depth research first prior to investing. You don't need to make a decision for him to finally invest in bitcoin, but one should have prior knowledge and background first before risking his funds. Otherwise, he will resort into thinking that investing guarantee instant profits, and if ever that never happens, he will end up blaming you because you convinced him to invest in an investment with uncertain outcome.

you don't try to convince them, try to explain to them the "basics" and then you point them to information available on the internet or books that could help them understand how the Bitcoin ecosystem works and if they have questions that they have trouble understanding try and explain it to them in a way that they'll understand. the decision of investing in bitcoin should be completely up to them.

Share your knowledge and experience with your client. Then his reaction will show whether he is interested in investing in Bitcoin. There are no direct patterns to introduce Bitcoin to a client. You can do it by stating the importance, discussing success stories from people who have successfully made a profit from Bitcoin, and starting by talking about the benefits we have gained since we started investing in it.

I think it is a bad idea to advice your clients to invest in bitcoin since you are going to lose the fundamental resources to do so because at that point you may be tempted to make bitcoin look as if it a get rich quick assets or even a speculative tool.

Buy on the other hand, means alot of learning,  that is what you want to advice your client to invest in requires knowledge and that knowledge requires time, so I suggest instead of advising them to outrightly buy bitcoin as newbies,  I think it better you introduced bitcoin to them on personal and theoretical approach and after that allow them to decide when and how much bitcoin they wish to invest in because it is only with such approach that you can  input interest and motivation about bitcoin into them.
In this case, OP only wants to introduce Bitcoin to his client. And I don't see anything wrong in doing that. He is not trying to convince his client to invest in it unless his client accepts the knowledge and chooses to fund it. It is by choice not by force. No matter how long he preaches about Bitcoin to his client if they are not wiling to invest in it they wont.

Op, how did you find out about Bitcoin were you convinced by someone or you got the revelation since you said Bitcoin is the smartest virtual currency? I may sound a bit off here but you don't sound like somebody who has a proper knowledge on Bitcoin investment to me so I will advise you don't give someone a sermon that you don't know so that tomorrow they won't come back to cry for you for a refund of money they use for investment because you don't sound like someone who can give them proper guidance on bitcoin investment.

Don't try to convince anyone that bitcoin will give them a double of their investment within a short period of time because bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. Any one who wants to invest in Bitcoin should undergo the process of understanding what Bitcoin investment is all about before anything else.

Okay, I get he is excited about Bitcoin, but lets think this through before suggesting it outright.  Does your client actually wanna dive into Bitcoin investment, or are they more just curious and saying like "hey tell me about this Bitcoin thing"?

The choice to buy in is theirs in the end and  you gotta be their tour guide here - make sure they know enough to decide either way with open eyes.  Its not on you to convince them, just provide the details so they feel good bout what they pick.

For you to want to convince your client to invest in bitcoin, the it means you are already into bitcoin, and you have basic knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, then all you should do is enlighten the person about bitcoin, let them know everything about bitcoin, and it’s left for the client to decide if he or she will be investing in bitcoin. Never force anyone to invest in bitcoin, allow them to decide on their own if they will be investing in bitcoin or not, because if you force them and anything bad happens, you will be the one to be blamed for it. Make sure you tell them bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme, and tell them they can also lose their bitcoin if it’s not properly stored.

First, you need to know that some people are so funny. After you have introduced them to Bitcoin, they may invest in it, but when their investment is not very profitable, they will blame you at last.

If you want to introduce your client to Bitcoin, make sure to tell them the risk that is also involved. Bitcoin is a volatile asset; it's not a get-rich-quick scheme or a get-poor-quick scheme. If you or anyone else must invest in Bitcoin, they have to understand that the price is not regulated by anyone, and therefore you could buy it at a high price today and tomorrow the price will drop below your purchase price. If you want to introduce Bitcoin to your friend, let them know that they have to hold their Bitcoin for a long time before they can maximize profit.

Give your friend these links too; it can help him stay on track.

You don’t need to convince anybody. If he needs bitcoin, he will learn about it. Maybe it is not the right time for him to learn about bitcoin yet. In the past some people received hundreds of bitcoins as gifts and they have lost the passwords for the wallets of those coins because they didn’t care. Of course now they care because the price is a lot higher than what it used to be but the sad thing is, they can’t access their funds anymore.

Long story short, let your client do whatever he likes to do. Give him enough information to see if he understands what you are telling and if he does, give him some more. If he is not interested, it is not worth your time, leave him be.

You are contradicting yourself with your statement, someone who already is interested in investing in bitcoin but have no clue on how to go about it needs no convincing, what they need is a "how to" go about achieving that which is already their heart desire, which in this case is, to invest in bitcoin.

You only try to convince a person who argues that bitcoin is not legit, or isn't worth investing in, or any other form of type of negative arguments or comments towards bitcoin.

But even at this,  I will still advice you to never try to convince anyone into investing in bitcoin, or any other crypto currencies, let their decision to invest be theirs and theirs alone, and this is because, investing in bitcoin and crypto in general is not risk free, any one can lose money doing this, so, it is expected that who ever is investing in crypto should first and foremost, understand and agree to take the risk that comes with it.

If the person wants investment advice or is looking for ways to make fast money, don't tell them about BTC, because if you do and they get disappointed, they'll blame you for a very long time and that could be the end of the relationship you have with that person. However, if the person is curious about BTC and wants to understand the network, there are a lot of good BTC articles and BTC books on the internet, and you can also introduce them to this forum to learn everything possible about BTC.

The steps to investing in Bitcoin are very simple, and all you need to do is you have to fund is go download a Bitcoin wallet (i.e Electrum or Bluewallat) from either Apple or Google play store, meet someone who has got Bitcoin to sell either physical or while using centralized exchange such as Binance, OKX and Bybit to buy Bitcoin using its p2p marketplace, copy your wallet address and send the fund to it.. its very simple

Cryptocurrencies are volatile currencies, which means for you to be able to convince people to invest in it, you first need to understand how it operate and work, so as to not lead people astrays into investing wrongly. Because in all cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is the best I can always advise people to invest in, due to the fact that it's least volatile, and has a long term investment potential of yielding seasonable profit as compared to altcoins.

It might be quite difficult when you convince someone to invest in Bitcoin when he doesn't know anything about it. Maybe the best thing for this is to provide education about what Bitcoin is, how it works, and various other basic knowledge about Bitcoin, so that people can have an idea of what Bitcoin is. And once he understands that, you also need to tell him about the risks of investing in Bitcoin and how best to invest in it as a beginner. Basic things like that should make him more confident about investing in Bitcoin. But just make sure that investing in Bitcoin has risks, so that later when the investment goes negative, you won't be the one to blame.

What is it that you do for work because I do not understand the relationship you have with a client that puts you in that situation where you can give financial advice to them. Unless it is part of your job, I don’t think it’s a good idea to convince your client to invest in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is volatile and newbies do not understand the fluctuations of the market and are likely to panic when the price drops. I suggest you let them come to that decision by themselves. That way you are free from the burden of being responsible for their investments.
