In order to choose a good coin for investment, I carefully study this project. Especially if I plan to keep this coin for several months.

Particularly, I choose altcoin on the composition of the team, roadmap, utility, and prospects. One of the most important indicators is that the coin is already traded on crypto-exchanges, it rarely happens during the ICO, but if this sign is there, then the coin is worth the investments.
Trading and investment are never easy, you need to take much effort to win the game, and to be brave enough to deal with defeat. In chosing altcoin, I prefer to work based on the quality of the project, the team, market cap, trading volume and the duration of coin in circulation.

Well I choose the alt-coin that I would invest in base on their project ,
But you should also consider checking their developer or their team if they have a past project just to make sure that they don't have a scam accusation or a project that didn't go well.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on exchanges right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/future-of-privacy-ethereum-meta-foundation-of-anonymous-e-marketplace-2659058

The price value, if your going to invest on altcoin you shod be shoo closing coins that has many holders, coins that has many uses, coins that is making progress everyday and most of all the coins is on top 100 coins that are always involve on topic aside from top 100 on the exchange list.
That matters a lot but there is another simple way of choosing altcoin. We all know that these coins highly rely on bitcoin. It is not possible for them to gain value without help of crypto king. If an altcoin behaves exactly the same way BTC does, it means that coin is going to survive at least. In order to know potential of any coin, to what extent it changes value according to BTC should be noticed.

A coin can gain value independently from bitcoin but it is way easier when bitcoin is going up in value, this is why we are seeing that all altcoins are having trouble gaining and even maintaining their current prices but if the coin has a decent development team that keeps updating the coin eventually the community will notice this and the price will grow up as a result.

Since last few months, we have seen a major change in the crypto market and that now the trend is changing as more number of investors are going for day trading and short-term investment of money rather than that of holding of the coins for longer time. because of this, the demand of the altcoins has been increased at a significant rate as people have started using it for the sake of trading.

I usually choose altcoins based on the idea of the project. A good idea and a lot of people use those coins to pay off the actual payments is a good penny.

Research plays an important role upon choosing the right altcoin. There are lot of things that we need to consider in choosing an Alt. Of course project based, function and it's overall status in the market. And the most trusted by investors is also a factor to be considered too.

the way I choose an ICO project and also a bounty program is to review the following aspects:
1. whitepaper project
2. website and all content owned by the project
3. The structure of the project team and its advisory team
4. Roadmap
5. partners and ratings of the project.
6. if you want to follow bounty then it is necessary also see the reputation of bounty manager if held by outside the project team.
Thank you for your participation and the experience you have given. this is a very good response and very easy to understand, in everything to choose a project or ICO one of the ways we should look is the team behind them. Thanks a lot.

Choosing an altcoins have many factors to consider. First you would be able to check the development team, their whitelist and the roadmap of the project. Secondly is that you will anticipate the usage of the coin if they will be benificial for short term or long term investment. Lastly is really depends what your goal is, majority of the altcoins are for holding of that coin expecting a profit to the moon.
That is how technically things should be but if there is an easy way then what the point in going for the difficult one is. We all know that altcoins depend on bitcoin for their progress. We also have seen that all the potential altcoins depend hugely on BTC. If someone wants to make right choice, he should note the rate of change that appears in his coin due to fluctuations of bitcoin. The more it copies BTC, the better will be investing in it.

For me the thing that matters is the utility the token will have in future because its the basic thing that makes any coin unique from others. The next thing is the liquidity of coin in the market and the future goals of the developing team behind the project. But goals may differ in short and long run so its better to completely analyze the market before investing in any coin.

I choose altcoin which has a good price and has good potential coins in the future, the coins I choose should be in the best position in the market.
to choose bounty I am always more selective towards the concept, the team and also how the project runs. so I think this is the main thing to choose to be able to give big profit when we follow it. this is my opinion.
