I have not participated in any bounty for quite a long time but if I am to sign up again I would look for campaigns that does not have the "bounty manager or ICO team can change the rule anytime" or those who have escrows, or maybe campaigns by most reputable managers.

First of all, do your own research about that project before you start that bounty. Because there is so many scam project. Then you have to check out their project, team, future updates etc. The next thing is the allocation and participants. Because the rewards will depend on the allocation and participants.

I'm just joining signature campaign that pays bitcoin. But I think the perspective of a bounty hunter with regards to this matter.
Having a known and reputable bounty manager really counts a lot. If you have a very hard working manager and known to the community, they would choose the best project to manage and dispose the potential scam projects.

Quality of the project is more important, before join the campaign you must read and review the project. So you will avoid scam projects and get a paymet for your work.

Before joining in any bounty program, you should take time so review their project or ask someone have many experience on reviewing to ask about that. Our target is earning profit so we need to choose the best bounty program to join in. There are many way to earn now, but I prefer join in signature bounty. But if you want to earn from many bounty program, you can join in content and sharing bounty. And remember, choose the bounty which have much reputation to join in.
