Re: How do you cope with those around you not believing in you for choosing Bitcoin?
I do nothing.

I guess this is the good thing when you're not sharing any of your investment to anybody especially to your relatives. They might know that I'm into Bitcoin, but they don't know how much I invested on, and I guess there's no reason for them to know. I don't know their reaction if they will just ignore it or what, but if they will be a hindrance to my investment journey, I will not think twice, but to just ignore them, or will not speak to them at all, but before doing that, I will try and educate them as long as they are interested into it. I remember one of my relatives asked regarding Bitcoin. Did ask a few questions, answered it correctly, and I don't know if he invested on it or not, but I'm happy to guide him if needed.

Like you said, negativity must be removed if you want to be a successful one.

there's nothing you can do to people who are closing their minds to this market. if i happen to encounter a person who is against this market, i will not mention about myself being in this market. will just let him talk and hear what he has to say. you don't need to contradict them or whatsoever. because believe it or not, sooner or later, they will change their stance once they educate themselves about this market. most of the time, ignorance is the reason why a lot of people are against on something, not only in crypto.

Pretty much self explanatory.  How do you do it?
Here is my way.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to stand against my beliefs.  Instead of convincing them I just moved on.  I found that a lot of those who do not believe in my choice of investment and think I will fail are the same people who never listen.
They mostly are and will never listen to a thing you say but remember that they'll be there when they learn that the market has been so bullish and they'll even ask you again just for the sake of profit. That's a cycle based on my experience but I never spend any time on those people that are only interested when they see the market is up so, they do their own research. And that's how I moved on.

Know it alls who rather put you down and disregard your feelings with no logical reasoning.  Sometimes it feels like they envy you or some thing.

I believe this is a healthy way of handling your environment.  Keep negativity outside your bubble.  Only keep close to you people who give you the ambition and optimism to continue.  Not sure how many of you believe in this.  But manifesting negativity has always brought negative outcome in my life.  Surrounding myself by positive thoughts and positive people has brought a strong source of light all the time.
Most likely they envy us because they see that we're benefiting on this market and we know more than them. There are people that don't want to be overcome by another person they know based on their achievements and what they do. These are the a-hole people that never stops doing things on their favor but they hurt people, these are the people that we should pity.

It is healthy to shoo away these people because they're not going to contribute to your happy days. Never look back at them even if you become successful with Bitcoin investing. Like for me, they're wholly crossed on my list.

Bitcoin is not my life, so I just ignore the stance of people who do not believe in Bitcoin but not the people.  People can go along even with different ideology, what it needs is respect.
I guess that's the best approach. By giving respect, you would also receive respect for your own idea when it comes to Bitcoin. Instead of having a discussion, probably other people won't listen to your explanation, you both just wasted your time.

Here is my way.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to stand against my beliefs.  Instead of convincing them I just moved on.  I found that a lot of those who do not believe in my choice of investment and think I will fail are the same people who never listen.  Know it alls who rather put you down and disregard your feelings with no logical reasoning.  Sometimes it feels like they envy you or some thing.

Negativity will be gone if we respect each other.  Bitcoin belief is only one of the many ideas we have so ignoring people and keeping away with them because they don't believe in Bitcoins is way overboard. Bitcoin should not occupy the entirety of our life decision.  We might be missing something if we keep on ignoring and pushing away people because they do not believe in Bitcoin.
Exactly. Keeping away the people just because they have different points of view on Bitcoin is not a good approach. Let the other people think everything they want when it comes to Bitcoin. Someday they might get curious and ask for your advice or the idea for choosing Bitcoin.

You are doing it rightly. If people keeps on disagreeing with what you believe to be right investing on Bitcoin, don't waste your energy on them and that's a good riddance you keep away from them.
I am done with that situation and let them what they want to do and I'll do what I'm believing is the best investing technique and that's to be on Bitcoin.
Just go along with people that has the same interest as you and you'll talk for hours and won't even notice the time.

You don't have to stay with people who don't actually understand your stands and beliefs in life. Instead, be with people who will nurture you and help you to achieve your goals in life. While bitcoin investment can be a lot promising for those who actually know and understand its potentials, but for people who are actually at the opposition, convincing them to take on your side is not your obligation and will not really work in the long. So just learn to live without them, focus on your bitcoin investment because that will bring you success that you have been waiting for. Be with people who can give you tips and advices on bitcoin, and stay with people and who can actually celebrate with you when your investment has already paid off.

What people think about bitcoin shouldn't bother you because their opinion does not matter. When it comes to benefit in bitcoin it is personal.  You shouldn't be bothered when people do not understand bitcoin because it is not their fault but ignorance,  if People really understand bitcoin I don't think they will feel or think as a wasted effort to get bitcoin.

I think it is a privilege for you to understand bitcoin, with this it is left for for people to care about bitcoin or not but what your focus is to get good benefit from Bitcoin.

This is the case with negative people who, even since the launch of Bitcoin, accused it of being a scam and false investment, blah blah blah,  when its prices were attractive, and it was a rare investment opportunity, which, if they had exploited it, they would have remained wealthy now. I consider these relationships toxic, and people who spread their discouragement and accuse everyone who invests in Bitcoin of failure. They are mostly ignorant and have not bothered to conduct thorough research. For example, What is the highest historical price of Bitcoin (ATH), and how does its current price compare to its price decades ago? How many investors and traders are there in Bitcoin up to now? What is its market cap? How many companies and major institutions have adopted it as a payment method? Among the world's wealthy, who has invested in it? There are many questions. If these people knew the answers, they would avoid these negative and frustrating thoughts that they give to those around them.

It is also advisable, as OP mentioned, not to disclose your investments to anyone, especially to ignorant someones with limited knowledge in this field or the amount of capital you have invested. Always benefit from positive events and news related to Bitcoin and from people who have been involved in this field for decades and have a strong knowledge and vision. They are the ones who will propel you forward without hindering your enthusiasm and ideas.

I get people that are always against Bitcoin and telling these guys am over 10 years in this whole crypto thing blows their minds as they think this is for social media scammers and hackers , but you know what I leave it at that as everyone has their opinions and will respect theirs especially that they talk from a non researched point of view and mostly these guys never back down from such arguments/debates.
But all I ask them to do is try to do their own research and once they go through this then we shall have a conversation & not from a heresy perspective!

That is something you have to cope with once they start fighting for their belief instead of letting you follow your own route.

I don't think you really have to. As an adult, it's ultimately up to you what you do with your money.  If others don't agree with how you spend your money, well, thats on them! They can think what they want.

The bottom line is, don't let anyone else make you feel bad about your financial choices.  Stay true to yourself and your beliefs and  as long as you're making responsible decisions that youre good with, then you do you!

I do not really cope with it, if there are people out there that do not agree with my decision to adopt bitcoin they can think whatever they want, but at the end the only one that has any say about how I use my money is myself and no one else, besides it will be very easy to see who was right as if I am mistaken then I will lose everything I invested in this market, but if I am right then I will obtain way more than that and they will be the ones regretting not taking advantage of such a good opportunity that was right in front of them.

Doesnt really need to cope up because if i do introduce Bitcoin into someone but they didnt tend to listen out then hell i do care. I would just simply walk back and move on yet its not my loss but theirs.
They've been able to miss out the opportunity on which they could potentially changed up their lives if they do make out the right decision but well its not shocking not all people would
really be that optimistic when it comes to things. There would really be those people who are skeptical whenever they do heard off something new.

They wont really be that able to learn unless if they would really be showing interest. It is really just that there are people who are close minded and doesnt care
about those opportunities  that it is already within their reach. This is a typical behavior but to those who do took the risks on learning it are the ones
who would really benefit out later on. It is really just that there are ones who are risk takers and there are ones who are just close minded ones.

Bitcoin To The Moon 📈📈📈
I don't care when they don't believe that I choose bitcoin as an investment, I have never even experienced being put down by others just because they are different in investment it is common when they know I am in the bitcoin circle they just know enough and never ask for more details or have any debate because maybe they think they are not in line.

But fortunately I am still in an environment of a lot of positive support including from family who have no opposition whatsoever because it is clear enough what I have told them and now understand and take them in the same direction even though it is not coercion.

So I will not take it more seriously and it is better to ignore those who talk negatively about bitcoin including cornering me, it is useless that it will become a dispute and resentment when I have achieved success with bitcoin.

I just do the right thing for me and ignore them since they're not part of my present and future with bitcoin. The fact that they don't believe on my investment choice then I don't have to believe on them either. That's simple, let them live with their own beliefs and I have to live on my own. I should not feel affected from the negativity they show to me, because if I do that, it's like I'm letting them control the outcome of my life's decisions.

Bitcoin is my passion and my future, so I need to work and grow my investment whatever it takes. Let the other people criticize my choice of investment, and for me that never matters at all. I live to pursue my life's goals, and for me that should be my priority and should focus on achieving on it.

Sometimes in our lives we need to hear a negative voice or a voice that is different from the way we think. The brain loves to analyze data and loves to face challenges. Therefore, if your psychological situation is stable, try to diversify your circle of friends and always choose from friends who already have investments and not those who invest with their mouths, even if they are different. With you or they see that you are investing in something worthless, you can prove to them that you are the best.
I see you've been gone for a while, I hope you're okay now.

Well, first of all, they don't know I do bitcoin stuff, like I don't brag or mention it anyway unless they ask me personally about bitcoin directly, but for other people around me, they don't know about what I do because I don't post on social media or share my achievements in bitcoin, because what's the point? If I know that there are people out there who will question why I do bitcoin and stuff,

Also, I don't want to explain to anyone who gets interested in bitcoin just because they see me earning from it; it is an annoying thing, so I'd rather stay quiet and do my things. If, for instance, they know I do bitcoin or crypto stuff and I receive feedback about why I do these things, then I don't give a single care about their opinion or feedback; I do my own thing and do their own things. That's it.

It is a normal thing not everyone will believe you until they see results or see your life get transformed, Therefore based on my new model of life that I live now I don't force anyone to believe in me or believe the idea of Bitcoin, So I don't give a fuck about those around me believe me or not rather I believe in my and the idea of Bitcoin.
They will watch and see until I get fully transformed with my investment in Bitcoin and that alone will speak for me.

That can actually be a very difficult situation to be, but I really do not see it as having much of a choice than just "Minding My Business" I mean that's actually what it is, MY BUSINESS. if it's not working for me then I wouldn't be doing it at all, so the only reason I chose Bitcoin as my choice of investment is simply because it's working for me, and if someone else or people around me do not see it the same way I see it or fail to see the vision I see then I see no reason why I should worry myself about that.

Although I did have a friend who hated anything that had to do with making money online, he believed in manual labor and getting paid physical cash, back then he didn't even have a bank account. I don't know why I kept trying my best to make this friend of mine change his concept about life.

Although he has repeatedly told me that he would never indulge in any form of online businesses because he believed they are all a scam. I don't know the reason I tried to make him change his mind, if it was because I was a true believer and Evangelist of Bitcoin or if I just saw it like it was my responsibility to make him change his primitive mindset about earning money.

But despite his refusal or negative vibes, It didn't really change my mind about what I was doing because I so much believed in it, rather it made me more enthusiastic about making him also see the vision.

This wasn't really applicable to everyone around me who didn't believe in Bitcoin or had contrary opinions about it, it was just that one friend of mine.

You don't needd to convince anyone.

What would you think if someone is trying to convince you to buy some stock?
A friend could be telling you that buying tesla is amazing, that it is revolutionary and so on... and lots of people made money and so on. But you don't care.
It is just annoying

Let people do whatever they wish with their money. It is their business,  not yours.
It is not about convincing some body that Bitcoin is the Investment of The Year.  It is the opposite actually.  Rather a relative coming to me and trying to convince me out of Bitcoin instead.  Hearing about Bitcoin turning to failure every now and then from the people closer to me.

Sometimes it is demoralizing.  You have a bad day, Bitcoin drops by 30 percent and a relative comes to you reminding you of the choice you made.  You know it was not a bad choice because Bitcoin will most probably recover.  But repeatedly hearing this will sometimes make you think they could actually have a point.

I read stories here before of Bitcoin Talk users who have been arguing for years with their family because of this.  They are invested in Bitcoin.  Their family tries very hard to get them out of it.  Many see Bitcoin as 'Evil', as sin, Ponzi, gambling, scam or what ever else.  That is something you have to cope with once they start fighting for their belief instead of letting you follow your own route.

-----

I would never cut someone out of my life just because they don't view things the same or believe in the same things I do, that sounds like a very polarizing and toxic way to deal with it.
Should have worded my original post differently.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to FIGHT against my beliefs.
