The best way to deal with financial stress is to take a proactive approach. Start by creating a budget to track your income & expenses. Identify areas where you could cut back & save money. Prioritise your financial goals & develop a plan to achieve them. You could get professional advice from a financial planner or counsellor. Manage stress through exercise, meditation or other relaxation techniques. Try to maintain a positive mindset & focus on the actions you can take to improve your financial situation.

It can be said that I am in this terrible situation. Even though I made a lot of plans, asked for advice from others... a lot of things, but it seems that overcoming it is not as easy as many people are saying. I believe that those who find themselves in that situation will find that overcoming it is actually more difficult than many people imagine. But I must admit one thing that gives me a positive impact is exercising and participating in sports activities. I feel my stress gradually decreasing since I spent time jogging and playing badminton in the past 2 weeks. I don't know exactly if it's an effect of exercise or not but that's what I feel.

Yeah, it's really hard to deal with financial stress and for sure majority has experience this, so for me the way I was able to get back at might feet is,

a. try to re-invent yourself, try new business that you are not familiar but easy to setup, I think this by opening a small store and it really help me a lot during those financial times

b. you can borrow money to start some business

c. Budget, budget and budget. As we have a local saying that you really need to tighten your belt when you have financial issues

And it took me two years to get back again after losing my job and try to bring food in the table for my family and put my child in a good school. So it takes a lot of mental fortitude as well and believed in yourself, just saying.

Dealing with financial street is so difficult and challenging,it affects ones overall well being and quality of life.So in order to deal with financial stress one can create a budget by tracking your income and expenses, this can be a great help, where you can cut down on expenses and save.

Everything haven't been easy. COVID, economic instability, and climate change are significant forces impacting lives globally. It's natural to feel anxious and stressed in such times. Accepting these challenges as real, without minimizing them, is the first step towards navigating them.

While optimism is crucial, blind positivity can feel disingenuous during difficult times. Instead, consider cultivating a more nuanced perspective. Acknowledge the hardships while recognizing your own strengths and the potential for positive change. You've served your country, adapted to new situations, and are actively seeking solutions. These are remarkable strengths to build upon.

Feeling stuck financially is understandable. While cryptocurrency and side gigs might be working for you now, consider exploring other options cautiously. Researching job openings, upskilling, or seeking financial counseling might open up new possibilities. Remember, navigating your path doesn't have to be a solo journey.

Maybe I'm stressing out too much because I'm yet to find proper housing to establish myself again after being away for over a year in the military. I'm generally an anxious person myself, but does anyone else feel the same, and how do you deal with it? How do you stay optimistic?

i understand how it feels to be in a difficult position like that, where it is quite difficult to be able to find work and earn money to cover your daily needs. personally, i am grateful that i still have a family who can help me when i am in a difficult position. they wanted to lend me money and give me food when i couldn't find a job. and this makes me more optimistic and less stressed when facing financial problems.

it's true that not everyone has a supportive family like i have, but if you have a good family like that, it's good if you go home to them and ask for help, maybe they can help you in your difficult position.

It's hard to endure the pressure of a financial crisis. I have a wife and children, I have a stable job but there is pressure on revenue and sales according to labor productivity. My wife has a job in the medical field but was unlucky when she had an accident and broke her leg in early 2023. I had to endure great pressure, I lost a lot of weight, I became easily stressed and irritable. harshness - perhaps it is psychological and a symptom of severe stress. The family shares but time is limited due to work and distance. I also receive some financial support from relatives. I feel like my life is at a standstill, most of my living expenses are in deficit, I set aside a reserve fund to invest in crypto before, at least withdraw a little to continue taking care of my family. . I consider crypto as a corresponding source of income. Luckily, everything passed and things gradually returned to normal. Many people have difficulty in covid-19, but I think that in life, many unexpected events can happen, try to manage and make efforts to overcome them.

Don’t overthink! I experienced same stress before during pandemic since my job becomes temporarily close while I have a lot of fixed bills on monthly basis that need to be paid especially insurance.

I focus on my current resources and try sellings goods on social media which helps me a lot to get extra income. I live near the manufacturing area of goods which I resell it on lower price compared to retail. I will not overcome this stress if I will just overthink about the problem and stop finding solutions. Check what resources you have and capitalize on that to get extra profit that will cover your expenses.
I did the same thing as you selling online when my job or my office was closed. I had bills to pay every month even though I had no income at that time. The more I thought, the more stressed I became, so sometimes I didn't think too much about things. This is because we have to accept that when we are not well, I did what I could do, such as buying and selling online and in the end everything was fine until my financial condition improved over time.

Therefore, I suggest you have a side job, like me. I work in a coffee shop, that is my main job, and I have a side job where before or after coming home from the coffee shop or my main job, I take myself to learn the features or aspects involved with photo editing, video taking, and photography. , because it is my side job. At first I studied multimedia majoring. Therefore, I occasionally use my skills on things related to photographers.

Having a side job can be done, as long as we are the ones who can balance our time, think about how to ensure that two jobs don't clash until finally I find the right time. So I suggest you have a side job to be your own leg so you don't fall when your other leg breaks.
with what you are doing is selling online, just try to deepen it, maybe it can develop, so well that you can have your own shop or warehouse. As long as you have good discipline and self-confidence and so on, I'm sure all these things can develop, don't be afraid to fail because failure is a lesson for us.

During the pandemic, this is one of the reasons why many people have problems that make their financial pressure even worse. Even many people who have businesses felt financially fine before the pandemic. But post-pandemic, money continues to be a pressure that makes them stressed. We have a lot to learn from this pandemic, even though financial pressure has now returned to normal, we must not neglect to use the pandemic several years ago as a lesson so that we are better prepared to face the same situation, perhaps not another pandemic disaster, but a global economic crisis.

I think that time has passed and what we most need to anticipate now is inflationary turmoil where income no longer matches the goods we spend and prices increase over time. Apart from that, what adds to the burden on our minds is that if we invest, say in crypto, the wrong choice of coins that are not fundamental will have a big impact on psychology and financial governance in general.

what you did was right. While you have the opportunity, make the best use of your time to continue looking for additional income. Apart from that, managing your finances well, and having a money post will teach you how to be aware of all your financial decisions. Stop for a moment to celebrate something that is not important, use money for investment because this is one way to overcome financial stress in the future.

While reading the op, I felt like OP mirrored my life and decided to talk about it, Unfortunately, it is not just me, or the OP, financial stress is something a lot of people all around the world are currently going through, sometimes, i feel the world is gradually collapsing in our very eyes.
Definitely everyone of us feels that but to a varying degree and I believe that each individual is almost unique when it comes to dealing with it, for me with that kind of stress I usually feel uneasy at times and I almost always feel the same too combine that with all the negative news around the world with all these wars, the collapsing in our very eyes is accurate as it can be, but I don't really let that feeling linger for long though, I tell myself that if I want to help even just a little dealing with it, I need to move and do something worthwhile.
Nigeria is my country, and i have never seen my country in such a very bad shape as it currently is economically, everything is on the up side, schools fees, water bills, electricity bills, cooking gas, petrol, etc, every thing is raising in their prices as each day breaks.

But fortunate enough, just as the op said, this forum and bitcoin have been really helpful in terms of providing us an alternative source of income, but most of the time, i just cant help but think how those outside this forum, and without jobs are managing to cope with this current economic and financial crises the whole world is facing.
It's the same with my country too and the worst part is that the people have elected an official that doesn't care about them or any of them and doesn't even know how to spend the money of the people besides lining their pockets, even the Vice president's family got a stranglehold on one of the municipalities employing ghost employees and people are so blind about the things that they're doing, they still don't want to fight back even when they're stealing the money right on their faces. Regarding the help of this forum, for me it didn't help for now because I'm still hodling on to my bitcoin hoping that it will give me a big profit in the near future but I guess I could say that it helped me not to worry too much about finances because I know that I'll be safe in the case that I need something for an emergency.

I think you needed to breathe and calm your nerves for a while. I think I understand how you felt at the time and I can say that there was a point when I could relate. And from experience I believe that this overwhelmingness comes from when you have too many things going on at the same time.

If you see that your Economics degree isn’t in high demand for remote work then consider relocating to the countries where it is needed. Moving out wouldn’t be any easy, but in the end it will definitely be worth all of the stress. The world economy was really affected by COVID, so just know that you aren’t the only one who is facing these challenges.

Handling stress? We do know that each person is different when it comes to intellectual and emotional aspect on which we do know that
control and management would really that differ into each other with each person.
It is already a given that everyone has their own unique ways of coping with stress. However, some individuals seek guidance and advice from others in order to improve and learn how to manage their stress effectively.

Its also necessary to stay out of debt.Debt affects more than just our financial well-being,having money problems can also affect our physical and emotional health, which is why it’s important that we understand how to deal with debt stress.Everyone can be under pressure, and been in a debt can actually be one of a kind since been in a debt is also a stressful situation.
Having a lot of debt will certainly make us depressed because when it is due we have to pay the loan we have lent and it will be very difficult if the income we have is not enough to be able to pay off the loan because we have borrowed too much, so it would be better for us to be able to manage our expenses. according to the income we have and don't let us not manage our expenses so we use our income on things we don't really need so we have to look for loans to be able to meet the needs we need.
Having lot of debt can really lead to depression because every income coming you don't see what you are using money for, it just seems as if money is been wasted. Having debt is what we should learn to avoid, because it can make one from achieving good financial goals.
One of the things that make some people go into debt is because they live above their financial standards which they can only borrow money to meet up with their financial demands.  I think if we can learn how to manage our life and go for what we can afford it will really help to stay away from debt.

It is important to learn to be financially discipline if you want to stay away from debt, and to know what you really want and not going for things that won't bring any value for you but just for pleasure.  People can only avoid debt if they are discipline and understand good management of handling money , it helps to stay out from debt.

I think the stress for virtually all groups comes from the fact that the world is undergoing unprecedented change, which is happening at an ever faster pace. There is one crisis after another and you get the feeling that there are no more breaks. There used to be many crises in the last 100 years, but society usually had several years in between to recover. It no longer feels that way, and many people feels and suspects that the next crisis (of whatever kind, war, economic downturn, next pandemic, etc.) is just around the corner.
right on the spot here, every changing year there appear to be also changing of problems, from pandemic to war to economic crises to housing crises we literally just getting faced with problems one after another meanwhile our purchasing power also depleting its kinda ridiculous though we literally need to do much more these days to obtain something that are easily obtained in the past back then working as an ordinary employee people can afford a house by just working for 5 years right now its crazy, not even 30 years of working and paying mortgage would suffice not to mention if we faced some financial crisis along the way while our house hasn't been paid off it has the risk of being seized but alas what can we do the only thing we can do is just keep working and working our asses off maybe one day we might stumble upon some good life turning moments.
The economic turmoil seems like it will never subside, in the last decade the economic pressure has really been felt and has had an increasingly negative impact due to other triggers that have had an impact on economic recovery. Natural factors and war have ravaged the economy almost all over the world, health problems and the Covid 19 pandemic have also paralyzed all sectors which means that humanity can only stay in place.

Yes, now everyone is required to be ready to do something that can support their household economy. being able to meet basic needs is already very great and even more so being able to meet secondary needs. In developing countries, the government always socializes its people to be able to utilize empty land for farming in order to save the economy in the smallest sectors.

The past few years after COVID-19 have been the absolute worst; everything keeps rising—petrol, daily groceries, electricity, housing—to the point where you're barely making ends meet. Just to imagine, I've been looking for an apartment for over 6 months and haven't found anything yet. Not only is there a very limited supply, but those available are either too expensive, poor, too small, or everything combined. Thus, this is creating a huge feeling of uncertainty, as time is running out and I need to get settled down. Renting outside of town in the nearby villages isn't ideal either, because petrol is way too expensive.

I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same, but this uncertainty with the increasing living costs and the ongoing rat race is causing me excessive stress. On top of that, moving out of the country doesn't seem ideal either, because most European cities are also suffering similar conditions, along with an extensive immigrant crisis (see France, Italy, Germany, and the UK). I'd be interested in remote working, but the economics field I've studied at university isn't in high demand for remote working, which often recruits IT workers and generally fields that require hands-on experience. As soon as I'm settled down, I'm considering taking up a data analysis course and finishing my master's degree in order to look for more opportunities abroad.

I don't know, but each year seems progressively worse. It wasn't that bad before COVID-19; now it's the ultimate worst I've seen, and it's about to deteriorate even further. Thankfully, this forum has been a blessing and probably the only thing giving me hope, as it has resulted in me making a decent sum of money in the process. I'm yet to start looking for a job, but salaries are relatively low, despite the increased cost of living. To make matters worse, excessive weather conditions due to climate change are happening way more often now, causing floods and wildfires and destroying everything in their path. See Libya, Greece, Italy, Spain, and many more examples.

Maybe I'm stressing out too much because I'm yet to find proper housing to establish myself again after being away for over a year in the military. I'm generally an anxious person myself, but does anyone else feel the same, and how do you deal with it? How do you stay optimistic?

While I may not be the most optimistic person, I'm taking charge of my future by focusing on what I can control. Instead of dwelling on anxieties, I'm investing in myself by learning IT skills that open doors to remote work opportunities. I understand I can't control the demand or hiring decisions, but I know that upskilling myself increases my value and marketability. This way, when opportunities arise, I'll be ready!

With rising living costs and stagnant salaries, it's important to be smart with our resources. We can minimize expenses by choosing public transport or walking instead of motorcycles, and finding affordable food alternatives that offer the same nutritional value. Additionally, dedicating time to upskilling ourselves opens doors to better-paying jobs.

Everyone goes through stress related to money after all over the past few years millions of people have faced financial difficulties due to various problems around the world, including epidemics and wars.

Just remember this. When you are stressed, that just means that you are focusing too much on the things you cannot control. So if you want to get back in the right track again out of your adversities, you just simply need to feel that you are in control of you own finances and your own whole life. So take a pause in your life. Remind yourself that you are the only person responsible.

There's two things you can do. Minimize your expenses or maximize your income. Along with that you have to payoff your debts and start saving so that you have something to invest later in your career and life. Anything outside of your control are just distractions.

Its also necessary to stay out of debt.Debt affects more than just our financial well-being,having money problems can also affect our physical and emotional health, which is why it’s important that we understand how to deal with debt stress.Everyone can be under pressure, and been in a debt can actually be one of a kind since been in a debt is also a stressful situation.

having a lot of forests in my opinion can be a pressure on our thinking, especially if we ourselves do not have a clear income but have a lot of debt, in my opinion it will create problems and as you say it can affect our health as well as worse it might have an impact on our mentality because I think there  have been and maybe many cases of people who are mentally damaged so that they experience mental disorders because of the pressure they experience a lot including by having a lot of debt because obviously it will put pressure on the health of our thinking.

In my opinion, if you really don't have money and income, please don't take action to get into debt, because with a situation that doesn't have money and doesn't have income it can only add to the problem if you really don't have money and don't have income then you should be able to find a job that can produce, even though finding a job is currently difficult but I think by utilizing current technological advances, many things can be done including by utilizing current technology that is developing.

It's not about the debt that gives us stress, it's about how we manage our finances. It's not necessary that having a debt means always paying interest. There are some debts known as good debts where we can use the borrowed money to make more money. The key is to manage our finances properly and use the debts wisely.
I agree with this if we could manage our finances properly then we wouldn't have any problems at all, the problem with debt is most of the people borrow to spend for the day or survive the current situation, but if they would borrow money then why not make it to survive for a long term use it to earn, and not just to survive the day.
Think about how you could use that money to earn it back not just to spend it all.
In the case that you do have tons of source of income on which it could be able to compensate on whatever shortage that you would have on a particular situation but we know that not all people would really be
having that kind of capability or capacity when it  comes to this kind of situation on which we know that there's no way that you could be able to make yourself to be on that status. This is why people would really be having those kind of conditions or circumstances in life on which you would really be needing up to take up some loan specially if your savings or emergency funds has been depleted out. No one would really be able to
avoid such condition specially that they are in need on which taking up some loan or borrowing money.

Handling stress? We do know that each person is different when it comes to intellectual and emotional aspect on which we do know that
control and management would really that differ into each other with each person.
