Losing is just the normal thing in trading. You can't always succeed unless you are God. but, the most important thing is that you have to learn from those mistakes and never repeat.

I don't or at least I try not to. If I'm in loss I usually hold until I can sell for a profit. For example I'm still holding my sia coin and hopefully one day I will be bake to sell for a profit however things aren't looking too good right now. And of you do make a loss just move on, there's no point to be mad.

No one likes to lose and its not easy to cope with losses. But the first is do not to invest or trade more then you can afford to lose. There is not always easy because the feeling can overflow you anytimea and can make you think now is the time. Learn to control emotions is very needed to stand in trading.

So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

if I experience it like that, I will surrender to wait and I will hold it until Bitcoin rises again, if it goes up again it is mine but if it goes down I will assume it is not mine.and I think it has become my precious learning for the future .

The same with me. I will patiently wait until whenever it goes high again.

In loss, I usually do whatever it takes to move on and learn from the mistakes I made. This way I can still be more productive, because when I keep on focusing on where did I go wrong, I will just be stuck there. So, the wise thing to do would always be move on, because eventually it will be successful.

A loss is to be taken like a grain of salt.. There are more opportunities out there and not all of them will end up in our favor.. Best thing to do is learn from that mistake and move forward.

I just simply close all my portfolio and exchanges, actually in crypto if you don't trade into cash all your investment you don't necessarily call it a loss because we all know that prices will suddenly go up later on.
It's either earn or lose so you should be ready. Honestly, I invested in an alt coin before, the price goes down and up, so I did think of it as a normal scenario. One time the price went down again and I thought it would go up back but unfortunately, it didn't due to the broken block chain. Of course I felt sad and sorry at first, but I accept the fact that it was gone. I just go with the flow and focus on other investment.

very difficult to overcome a loss if you do not have the right decision to sell coins, if the price is up you should immediately sell it, because you will not know the price up or down.

Gone are the days where I use to trade with no plan or strategy at all where I used to buy at already pumped stage and eventually sold at much lower price because of panic resulting to loss. As they say, learn from your mistake and it served me well.

I tolerate the province of the loss I get from playing bitcoin by forgetting it and reminding myself not to happen again. I never invested, I just play with a long term coin or short term to see how the development of the coin.
A good strategy of yours, and i think you've learn it from your mistakes of always playing the market. It is good to play the market as long as you can earn about 1btc per week but if you cant it will be best to hold it or buy and hold with altcoins. Loss are created to be corrected not to repeat.

Before, when I am just starting to do trading, I tend to be greedy and I always chase those pumps resulting sometimes to a loss and sometimes gains with no trading plan. As expected for being greedy, sometimes I am already in profit but I am still hoping for more that's why I did not sell and upon waiting, there is a massive sell off that's why I am suddenly at a loss and then I just wait for it to go up. It has been a few weeks and I am still holding it and the price keeps going down so I decided to just sell it half of my buying price. Now, I learned my lesson so I am only buying in portions and I already have an exit strategy depending on the coin.

No investment didn't experiencing Loss. Just don't be sad let your LOSS be your strength and motivation. I will always believe that all my losses will be recovered in other way or some other time. Also, don't be afraid to have a Loss again. And, just count your Earnings and not your Loss.

I suppose a lot of it depends on how big your risk is in the first place. For newbies like me, my risk is relatively low and I go along to try and forget that money was ever available to me in the first place - aka .. it isn't needed to pay bills or put food on the table. For me, dealing with loss of profit or loss of an opportunity to make profit is harder to handle.
I completely agree with you that if there is a possibility, then this is better than yo-yo no. But the fact is that with a really professional trade, you must always find outlets to minimize losses from incorrect actions on the stock exchange.t

Deal with losses the same way as you deal with wins.. its all a mental game fella..

if you dont sell.. you haven't realized a loss yet.  if you do sell.. then its a loss, if your losses outweigh your wins.. then you should just HODL BTC!!

I win some I lose some.. but lucky for me I bought my 1st BTC in March 2013! so none of it is a loss really.. try to HODL BTC for 3-4 years then make investments.. then you will see the losses and the wins are small in comparison to your BTC holdings

good to hear that you have bought your bitcoin almost 5 years ago.not your a richman.and i think you have nothing to deal with loss as you made profit for holding your bitcoin..

In regards to the OPs concern.i deal with loss in a way that i just give a damn capital again to win it back.for trading is not a simple task and must put a great strategy
