Yes, when I was tormented by FOMO, I really did not sleep well. I thought for a long time before going to bed, and then all the time I woke up I checked the price  Grin. Fortunately, I learned to quickly fight this feeling. I adhered to the rule not to buy a coin when its pamp. So I didn't regret that I didn't buy something, I clearly understood that I adhere to a clear rule, so I was no longer tormented by FOMO.

Most of the time when I try to catch up to the bullish trend, seldom because of
signal groups, and the most regretful fomo was when I bought BTCTC around the end
of 2017.

Hi everyone,

We all been there and still do it but everyone does things differently Cool. That is when I was in my FOMO mentality I was sleepless and agitated. How did you experience it? So curious to know Grin
I have experienced this twice when I am trading.

First is when QLC has been listed on Binance and second is when the VERY BIG PARTNERSHIP of VERGE with PORNHUB (FUCK THEM). When I did this, I felt a little regret and sadness but I am thinking "I got FOMO'ed because of my own emotions". I lost some of my money because of myself too so I need to move on and don't think of it too much because it will depress me if I did.

Most newbies experienced being FOMO'ed and lets think that if we got FOMO'ed, its either you sell your coins at a loss or hold it. In any way, we must ready to face the consequences Smiley

FOMO can be extremely heart wrenching.  I've learned my lesson in the past by selling too early and the thoughts still linger with me.  I prefer to sell my stack off in portions so that if the price keeps rising I'm not depressed.  I know its cliche but it's better to just hodl long term because thats the best way to get guaranteed gains.  The crypto market is extremely hard to time and trying to buy the bottom or sell the top will be a game of luck.

My experience following the FOMO is when there is an Airdop Ethreum Classic.
If it is not wrong to hold Ethreum Classic then you will get ETC "Diamond".

And when in question to telegram group it turns out it is not from the development team, but from the people who so fun to enter coinmrketcal.com .

When you are talking about FOMO then there is a greed, people are afraid they are going to lose the chance to make profit, I restrained myself to do FOMO, because when we do trade based on the FOMO, most of the time we ignore all the analysis and market condition, just put all of our money and it is quite dangerous

If you are a newbie it might be difficult for you cause you have not experience or have that fear of losing out cause you will always have the feeling that everyone is leaving you behind and you are or might or will loss out if you don't invest immediately. It's a normal phase, even it happens with experienced cryptos enthusiast. You should not let it over take you, you should be able to know what your next action will be.

had the same experience when I first invested all my savings to bitcoin and that was my college years, felt uneasy and unable to concentrate, cant even control myself not to look at live trades. I don't like the feeling of investing what you can't afford to lose  Tongue the anxiety of losing everything was very high. So I ended up selling and missed the ath after the fork  Grin and buying again due to FOMO

The FOMO is real but it is not something I have experimented myself, at the time when bitcoin was skyrocketing I did not had any more money to invest so I knew that I had no chance to put more money in bitcoin and that is probably what saved me from having those feelings and investing at the worst possible time, this showed to me that I still have things to improve since I was basically saved by my own luck.

I flipped at this comment 😂. Seriously this is exactly how I do things. Looks like I am not alone.
I think that's a rite of passage Wink

Also... For Tomo I researched everything, I liked the project and that was the reason for fomo.

But the real fomo (as I think of it) - I bought few coins just because of the crazy Twitter shills, Eve, Auc, Sgn...
That was on the spur of the moment. Didn't even checked some indicators. Was thinking about it for few minutes, checked their web, Twitter and stupidly jumped in. Even today I can't believe how stupid I was. Jumped in because I needed more ETH for some ICOs, I had a plan to sell everything after few days... Let's say I'm a mini bagholder now. Cheesy

These days I've been around long enough to know FOMO is when you should start thinking of doing the exact opposite of what you want to do. It rarely ends well.

Bubbles start pouring out of my trousers.

That's when I know it's time to put down the internet and go outside.

These days I've been around long enough to know FOMO is when you should start thinking of doing the exact opposite of what you want to do. It rarely ends well. You want to be the one provoking it, not yielding to it.

My first fomo - TOMO in march. Bought some under 0.00087 ETH.
The next day I waited for the lower price to buy more.
Went to sleep, but in the end I spent hours checking the price on my cell and was lying in bed chating with people in Tomo Telegram chat.
At one moment I said to myself, that's it, I logged in to Binance, sold some ADA for ETH, moved it to MM, went to Idex and put an order.
Then went to bed again, tried to sleep but then wasn't able to do (again) it so I canceled order, market bought it and was finally happy. Roll Eyes

I FOMO in a lot of coin this January because I was new in the market and thought the best time to buy is to rush and buy when the price is going up so as not to miss the project.

Going FOMO do give me sometimes either positive or negative results but mostly i do experience on the negative side. When you are still on a state where you do lack experience and knowledge will always lead into bad results. FOMO when the price is rising rapidly but you didnt even notice that you are already late on such decision and later on you would realize that you had already bought on the ATH range.

I'm always has been effected by FOMO, always curious and been crazy too be in or out of the trades.
I'm happy that there are other peoples too, and I'm not only person affected by FOMO.
FOMO is a very common psychology in this market because a lot of strong bull growth in a short time has led many FOMO followers and as a result they often fail. Be prepared for the psychology and proper investment to avoid FOMO in the cryptocurrency market.

when the price of bitcoin reach to $19k i was decide to buy and i expect the price will rise up more than $20k because at that time all of market were uncontrollable with dominate by green mark and my biggest mistakes is i was hold my bitcoin even though bitcoin already hit to $20k but apparently that was big mistakes and eventually to solved downtrend situations i was decide to cut loss

I experience FOMO usually on some new coins/tokens that I learn about. Unfortunately I always learn about them just after they pumped in price. I've definitely learned my lesson. So right now, due to lots of lost money due to FOMO, I stay patient. Always waiting for a correction if ever the coin/token has already increased in price significantly. Patience is key.
