I believe that finding bounties the very moment it was being published is not good to us investors or even for the bounty hunters because for me the longer the project goes is the more we see how it goes well or notAnd i find this strategy by looking on the spreadsheets of every bounties ,the participants are applying couple of weeks before the campaign ends becauseon that time they can find if the project is successful or failure,same as investors like me that i decide to invest if i saw it reasonable
I used to do it on a forum or on special sites like icobench, but now I use platforms for bounty hunters like bountyhuve and bountyplatform.
at IcoGuide.com this is my favorite rating platform,scores are not paid and real and interface, makes it easy to compare projects.
I am looking projects here at the forum, and then check them at IcoGuide I agree that they have real rates.
The simplest way is to open a website, you can find it there and study it or ask a more experienced person, learning with more experienced people is even better, because you can immediately ask when you don't understand

I was searching manually on bounty thread, but after ive join in my bounty group i just apply every bounty that list in there, its much more easy now

Most of the bounties I participate in are gotten from this forum. I try to look randomly at member's signatures but after that I try as much as possible to do a thorough research on them before investing my time on them.
