Nothing I guess, although I will have difficulty sleeping thinking about that bad loss, but once I got my rest, the next day I will be normal.

Of course, I will have to go back and see what's wrong with me or why I didn't quit that early when I still have the money and chooses to play for me and be greedy. Just some lessons for me to learn and then life goes on and never look back at that bad lose. But I understand what others may have to go through before moving forward after suffering a defeat and a huge one.

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

I go on shopping, lol, probably to ease my mind of that big and bad lost  the other night. When I was working, I had to call my office that I will not going to work, I know that its a bad excuse, but I can't get myself to go to the office or even move as I feel lethargic and not in the mood the whole day.

Unless, I will go to buy some things for myself and totally forget what happen to me.

I guess it's more money to spend but that's therapy to me.

Think of something that can make you stop and rest. Turn your attention to things that can make you forget about losing and don't push yourself too hard to chase victory.

I don't know what's actually good for people even though it's actually good for me. I will stop gambling if I have reached the target loss limit in a day, it can really help me control spending money on gambling. If you like to gamble, then you should also be able to think about this loss limit so that you are not affected financially in the long term.

close the laptop, leave everything related to the casino and go watch while eating casually at the cafe
closing my laptop usually takes a while if I experience a big loss and it can take up to a month to come back again

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?
Most of the time i'd take a break by playing one of my favorite games, watching some streams, or ordering myself a comfort food like ice cream. To make myself feel a bit better I sometimes visit a sports betting thread on Reddit to see if others also went through the same loss as me or even worse since there are always people who have long shot parlays. I look for different ways to not get swept up with the loss since it can get really bad later on if you're still struggling to move on with your losses.

Only times heals the wound on that kind of loss. If it's fresh, it really hurts and very depressing especially if you managed to lose a very high amount of money for you.

I can recover immediately though if I was able to win it back in that very day. Above all, I try to be less emotional and just move on from it.

The way I deal with bad loss is by simply moving on, that is why I always set limits to the amount I used for gambling, and if ever I go beyond that, and end up losing I will just move on to some other thing other than gambling.

Watching football games have been one of the helpful ways I have always helped myself to overcome a bad day.

Shaking my head and tell to myself that I will not gambling anymore then next I will start gambling again because I always saw bonus and promotional ads of casino in my email.   Cheesy

Seriously, I have a lot of pet dog since I’m a breeder now. Playing and walking with them help me relieve stress to my bad loss in gambling. I can think carefully and do acceptance to my loss if I where with them since I’m with them. In general, You just need to get away that will give you more depression and avoid being alone to get over quickly to the bad experience.

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

I usually go fishing in a quiet and calm place, because it can relieve stress and anxiety when I experience a loss in gambling, for example yesterday I lost $300 in gambling made me feel lost, but on the one hand I also don't blame the gambling site, but more to myself and make my mind aware that it's a risky game, so fishing will make me calmer

To get over a bad loss in my case even though it's not a big amount to start with but it is still a loss after gambling my funds that I can afford to lose which is to make myself focus in other things or activities instead of thinking or making myself remember or still involved in things that is the reason why it happen. What I mean is to make myself busy with work, watching movies on Netflix, doing physical exercises or workout, playing online/offlinr games and more choices to do that is not gambling related. It would also help keeping yourself not becoming greedy wherr being greedy makes you win huge amount or recover lose amount that you bet.

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

The most important thing that I initially do when encountering bad or huge losses are to have a break and stop gambling for a while. This is to avoid being greedy and trying to win back my losses as we all know what will happen next if we continue gambling after losing.

One of the best and favorite things that I do to immediately move on is by being with my loved ones and/or play with my dogs as those will keep my mind off any bad experience that I encounter and also keep me from overthinking things such as "what ifs".

But still after a few days, I will still continue gambling like nothing ever happened and enjoy when I win.

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

First of all I never want to be in that situation so I make it clear whenever I make a bet which should be affordable for me to lose or else just don't bet at all. Money management is really important for everyone, it may not get you rich quickly but it will save you from getting bankrupt.

Well, after a loss if the amount is considerably high then I will distract my concentration onto something else like a long ride at night, convo with closed ones, or atleast I will watch some motivational stories. Cheesy

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

You know what is my favorite thing to do, when I am in bad loss then I drink an alcohol and eating some of my favorites foods. Because what is in my mind is that it's better to eat than to lose again and that's the reason if when I loss a good amount of money then the rest of my money I spend it in eating my favorites food and also shopping as well. Actually in my history as A small gambler I  didn't loss big amount. because I gamble what I afford to lose.

close the laptop and put it in a cupboard so I can relax more without having to think about it,
I was thinking of saying pressing x that is located in the upper right corner of the browser  Grin
Should have closed it first by pressing x but I'm more interested in pressing shutdown, if only this laptop wasn't a gift from my wife I might have burned it when I had a loss whether it was in trading or playing on a gambling site, so it's best to put it in a cupboard and away from my view

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

Hmm.. What do you actually mean by a Bad loss? Do you mean gambling with an amount too huge that you couldn't afford to lose? ( i.e betting $1000 with just 1.2 olds and still finally losing it) or Do you mean gambling with a significant amount? Because to me, what I do is try to console myself by either watching funny comedy videos on YouTube or Facebook in a lonely place all by myself, and trying to avoid further discussion that will make me remember such incident, because of what benefit will it be worrying over what I know I can't change. So it is better to just accept it that way and life goes on.

I lost 500$ in a minute trading an altcoin, this is the money I planned to use for buying at least three different altcoins for long term, when I lost that money it hit very hard, I kept remembering for the whole week, I believe it's not the money I was prepared to lose. I hope this answers your question, if you are able to get over a loss very quick its because you are prepared to lose the money.
I believe that there are some people who don't move on fast after they lose the money they are prepared to lose for. I'm pretty sure there are people who are regretting their actions even they are prepared for the consequences. I've been on that situation multiple times before and I learned my lesson hard and learned to control myself from the temper of not spending money that I don't afford to lose.

Usually I do take some breaks after having a bad loss, Thank to God I have a limit on what I spend on a casino. This helps me move on fast now and just recover to my normal state after I have a bad loss.

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

I don't know. Have a depressive feeling for the rest of the day and depending on the amount of coins I lost, maybe have a bad week?

What kind of question is that? What is my "favorite thing" to do after losing? Lol what.

I think you might have meant what do you do after you lose to keep your mind off the fact that you lost money. Because thats the one thing everyone does after losing. Find something to take their minds off their losses. Basically what is your favorite coping mechanism should be the title of this thread.

In which case,  my coping mechanism is ingesting large amounts of copium and watching movies or something. Huh Roll Eyes

My favorite thing to do to get over bad loss is doing the regular thing I do.  Though there are regrets sometimes, it doesn't affect me much since I get over my losses easily.  That is probably because I often gamble on what I can afford to lose.  So I always have my fund planned beforehand.  But if the loss is really bad(sometimes we failed to have self-control and keep on playing way beyond our allocated budget), I just play games to forget about the "horror" of losing.

By taking a break from gambling. Gambling hurts you, you hurt it back by not giving a shit about it lol.
Basically, by taking a break from gambling you get to realize that chasing losses is not the thing you should do.
You get to analyze your mistakes and it also gives you time to get out of the loss.
You can continue gambling when you are back on track with your losses and ofcourse this time not repeating your mistakes.
