How do you keep track of your portfolio stats?

I currently have a wallet holding all of my cryptos, and I was wondering what the cost basis for each of my crypto is or how much of an actual net profit or loss that I’ve made from each investment. I’ve used different exchanges and all are held in a wallet that doesn’t keep track of this information.

Do you guys have a method other than manually tracking information like your cost basis with a spreadsheet? I’m considering just biting the bullet and doing it that way but want to make sure that there might be a much easier way of doing this.

Thanks.
I don't have that type of monitoring. What I do is just look at the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly projection that Ledger Live has. That's the feature that I like most on them. Even if your hardware wallet isn't connected, the data is there and it's real time if it's the daily.

Sign-in on congecko and and build your portfolio from your profile and you will be able to keep track and know your net profit and loss. i found CG much more user friendly and very simple to understand compare to cmc. perhaps you can also check out blockfolio, it has been long since i use it, they may have update some more features on it that can be useful.

Good solutions have been offered to you already, however I have a question, how many coins you are holding that it is such a big problem for you to keep on top of things? Because for someone which has a portfolio of 5 to 10 coins then it is not a big problem to check this information in a matter of minutes, something like this would not become a problem until a person was holding something like 20 or more coins, and in that case my focus would be on reducing the number of coins I am holding.

Please download coinmarketcap app in playstore or appstore. You just need to sign up to create a new account and you can use portfolios feature on CMC. that will help you to track your profit or loss from what you have been holding in your asset list. It's pretty easy to do that. It takes only a few minutes and then you can try to put all of your token in your CMC app to track it anytime and see how many profit or loss gained from your portfolios.

I think that one is only good if the token is also listed on cmc but what if most of the tokens you hodl are not listed there? This is why I don't use it or any other app to track my portfolio due to lack of coin support but I just pasted my wallet address in either etherscan or etherplorer.io and then I can see all the tokens that I have including their value but of course, that is if they are already listed on a crypto exchange.

The only basis that I use to see if I am gaining or losing is I check the percent shown beside of the value of the coins. If there is a big percent added then that is a sign that I am earning a lot but if it's negative then that's an obvious loss.

You've got the answer from @aubert response, AFAIK, CMC is the best application that you can use to track your crypto portfolio, they will provide data about price fluctuations on a regular basis. Why do I say CMC is the best? Currently we have 2 major platforms for checking price data, market cap and other data. They are Coinecko and Coinmarketcap, but from these two websites, I prefer CMC because they present data faster than Coinecko (according to my experience).

I use Coingecko to keep track of my portfolio. The reason I use this application is because it provides the necessary features such as market track, whitelist, fees, profit/loss in 24 hours, etc. It can also be installed on Android/iOS or the Web, so the Coingecko app is perfect for a user like me.

Tracking your cryptocurrency assets could use coinmarket cap and bookmark with your coin holding, you don't need access and open different exchange market every day because you can see price of your coin on coinmarket cap. But I hold my assets have been listing on many exchange, not hard when checking about my coin dump or pump. Just opening with Coinmarketcap and check with my assets holding have been pump or not. You can log in to Coinmarket cap account and submit with your assets kind holding, than input with how many altcoin assets do you save, every day just check on Coinmarketcap only about your fund up or down.

^ Yeah CMC is one of those apps available.

I used to monitor using Blockfolio before it was purchased by FTX exchange. It pretty has much everything with a slick design. If you prefer web-based dashboard instead of mobile apps, there's also cryptocompare. Just a reminder that the convenience you're searching for comes with risks especially if you're going to connect your exchange accounts.
