Reviews says it all. All you have to do is see other people's opinions about their experience with the website and you will quickly find out if it's a scam or not. There are dozens of blogs reviewing gambling websites where you can find all informations about it so you can just make a research for that and you will find what you need.
Be also aware that there are paid reviews that are circulating, you need to be meticulous upon searching for those.

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

You need to use you common sense.
Never play with more than you can afford to lose.
And be very very suspicious on every "too good to be true" promotion.

This is the best piece of advice I can say.  Tongue Common sense sums it all. It already encompasses your intelligence on how to detect one. And not be gullible enough to be lured by huge money involved.
I don't think it's hard for us to know if the site is scam or legit, as a gambler we make sure we do our research prior to gambling.
Sure there are a lot of gambling sites that are scams but with simple research we can find good and reputable gambling sites that will serve our interest.
Let us utilize the internet and I suggest don't gamble on sites that are not mention in this forum.

Not all sites that are not mention on this forum are already a scam because some legit sites dont even know that this forum exist or they already know this site but they dont have a budget to start a campaign for promoting their websites .

@the guys above i dont agree that common sense is the only way we need in order for us to combat scam sites  .  we need real knowledge  and we need to dedicate our precious time to do a research about the said site
Well I think not all are mentioned but through this forum we can know so many sites scamming and legit gambling websites, to be honest till now I personally never got encountered with such issue of scamming, but there are some which you have told us are present but try to make good research and never gamble blindly without having proper information.
Most people who experienced scam are those who dont have much time to make research or simply going to this forum to find out the best ones and instead they do go to unknown ones.
If you do have this kind of behavior or habit then expect for you to be scammed always but well every mistake do makes a lesson for us.Knowing scam sites is really simple by just spotting out
red flags on its earliest phase.

To know that a gambling site is a scam or not, you should do some research about it. I think the most important thing is people feedbacks, by reading them carefully, you can know exactly if the site is legit or not, in the case of a new site without any feedback you can start searching about the team of this gambling site in social media, because they can be fake people, there are also other ways to know whether it's a scam or not by analyzing the site.

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?
It seems like a normal websites but when we entered into that the system of gambling was to be different from normal gambling so at that time we need to alert it may be a scam but most of the time we don't know howa scam websites be like that it is big problem there in gambling sites.
Actually you are right we don't know to find the signs website gambling scam but we can anticipate by put the website on scamadviser here is the link source https://beta.scamadviser.com/ it will helps us to know more information about the gambling website such as company data, website country, domain age, website speed, website values and many more information related with the gambling website including analysis from them.

Those who want to scam are very skilled and they will buy a proper domain with all the proper information and you can never guess that it can be a scam. The is not way to know if this site is scam if it details are also validated by https://beta.scamadviser.com/
The only precaution we can take is avoid new  sites at the early stages or even if we want to play gambling there, invest only small amounts and keep withdrawing daily.

It's hard to know if the gambling websites were a scam or not, -snip-.
We don't need to conclude right away, new sites cannot be trusted and they need to earn reputation first.
Gambling in new website is alright as long as you control your deposit, and it's a high risk attempt as we all know based on the history
there's plenty of new websites that are scam.

If old websites are capable of scamming gamblers, we should not be confident with the new one then.

I don't conclude the new sites, but that is base on my friend's experience. And when I want to test the new site, I don't use big money and I think I only use the faucet or small money to deposit and I think I don't want to lose bigger money in the new site or the old site. I am too worried to see the new websites turn become a scam and they cannot stay for a long time. But don't forget, the old websites can change become a scam too

We have the forum Scam accusations -->https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 if you just don't know about that.

Crypto gambling sites are well popular here in the forum so it's easy to figure out the legit and scam ones.

I'm hoping every gambler is well aware about that section but I think as long as DT are actively tagging those reported gambling sites, forum members would know because it will reflect on their trust rating and it's visible since coming from DT.

I know everyone is not yet well aware about the DT system, especially the new one, but they are the most reputable in the forum, their judgement are often wrong.
Yep they are the biggest help in the forum for busting out scam casino's.

Someone who's not aware to it can just rely on the color reflected to one's profile.
If you're here in the forum you can easily notice those scammers because of our hard working DT's but if someone is not here in this forum then better for them analyze well the gambling site before they fund their account. Crypto gambling sites are usually have their on social accounts, you can also visit that to hear some of the feedback.

By reviewing it if the bonus is very big or they have big prizes that's impossible for sure that scam. But mostly I get information here in this forum I checked if there is new gambling I will check the review who already experienced to play and have deposited already and I can know if that scam or not. Asking and reviewing is the best to know what is your question.
Reviewing if the bonus is very big, some promotions requires too high bonus and it can be for real. But if it's too much and unbelievable you should let your hands off of that casino. But if you're standard requires the bonuses, it's your basis.

Most of them can be real and legit if they aren't too high. On these times, these kind of bonuses doesn't really work for me as they'll require you so much things to do just to be eligible for that bonus.

The existence of a bonus cannot be used as a parameter to prove if the site is scam or not. For ordinary people like me, if I find a new gambling site, usually I will only see if the site runs lightly or not and if we can see the history of other users bets, then at the beginning I will only conclude if the site is scam or not. In addition, if there is a bonus or faucet that we can roll it, maybe it will be more interesting for us to try it first before we make a deposit, so we can prove if the site is safe or not.

New gambling websites are also reputed and many old gambling sites are also turned into scam so we can't just predict any gambling site based on the age but if it is old gambling site and legit until now then you can deposit few bitcoins into their site without any worries of scamming you.
You can trust easily the gambling site that have a good reputations and already exist for much longer time, unlike with new one though
if you are a risky person/gambler and you are looking for new bonuses and promotions trying newer gambling site have this opportunities,
though the risk of becoming a victim are much bigger, best to stay with customers review before depositing your money.

You are correct on this mate and the hardest part in creating new gambling site is to established reputation this will take time ,effort and capital to gain confidence from the gamblers and subscribers

And for me,why those newbie needed to look for other sites when there are lots of well trusted and established gambling places that exist, those who are in this area for how long now, like 777,bitvest and many more, though there is a starting gambling site now that caught my attention and thats the one you are wearing mate the ‘Bet It  All’ ,seems like theres alot of promises inside for the gamblers
