I have been losing a lot recently because of emotions as I was a gambler before and it is hard to keep it for myself. I have been calm when the price increased but at dump points I get heart attacks literally. Cry
There will be no differences in handling your emotions in both gambling and trading. But it will not good for your health and for your trading capital if you still losing your calmness in negative market conditions. I suggest you to partice more in mock account just get the drills and practices of different scenarios of usual bitcoin trading, this way you can gain knowledge on controlling yourselves.

I'm dealing with it by simply stopping and changing my plans, it's the hardest enemy as we know we are fighting with ourselves.
How it will be possible to stop trading when we are in loss with our trades. You mean before facing bigger losses you will cut and come out ? But you may be facing all the times losses only because sometimes market will bounce back after showing some negative movements.

I've been saying this all along. Emotions is really the worst enemy of a gambler or a trader for a extend. It's hard to control them specially if you are a amateur trader. And since being a trader means that you have to continually make decisions that can cost or make you money, and even result in major losses, And also if you are Over-excitement, it can also significantly influence your decision-making process. Being too euphoric or excited can be dangerous because you might analyze risk wrong or are too casual about potential losses.

Exactly once. because emotions which gives a huge disadvantage in any trade. Indeed there are emotions that do no harm, but most of the trading is using his emotions in search of profits. So the thing they expect is sometimes reversed or different from the ones they want. The advantage is indeed something much sought after, but if used the wrong way then at will not be materialized

Its really hard to manage our emotions basically when we do trades and we want to earn in an instant way. The best way for me that we could manage our emotions is to feel at ease, realization, analyzation and decision making. This helps me in anyway before I decide to do a trade so that I can manage my emotions.

Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?
Warren Buffett once said, "To invest successfully over a lifetime does not require a stratospheric IQ, unusual business insights, or inside information. What's needed is a sound intellectual framework for making decisions and the ability to keep emotions from corroding that framework. You must supply the emotional discipline."
Calmness is the key of success in trading, all knowledge about the market will blur if don't have it. Better doing nothing and just see the chart than place a panic order.

It's hard to fall for your emotion especially when you are in the times of losing streak. But I'm dealing with it by simply stopping and changing my plans, it's the hardest enemy as we know we are fighting with ourselves. And I used to have a glass of water on my side, always. It makes me calm when I drink when something is making up on my mind with blowing with the pressure.

I agree, it is quite hard and if you follow it you will not be able to make a good decision. The sudden fall of the prices of the asset you are looking at will make you heart to drop as well. I guess you have to keep it call and just follow a simple strategy you will formulate. You should trade emotionless, it's just a job.

It's hard to do and follow to trade without any emotion included. It's fair that when we are seeing good returns to us and the market is in favor to us, our hearts will be jumping because of happiness. But in return, when we are seeing that the market isn't good at us then we are experiencing to be emotional in negative thought.

Well when it comes to trading I don't really have some experience but I usually gamble,
And when it comes to managing my emotion when ever I feel scared or something I would just listen to some music that I really want then it would calm me.

Its never easy to manage your emotions. You need to analyze your mistakes and learn from it. Every night when you got to bed, you need to think on how your day was and how you could have done it better. Same goes for trading as well as gambling. Only by learning from your mistakes made by letting your emotions get the better of you, you will be able to control them. Keep trying hard and never give up.
Emotion is the best enemy of our journey to success because sometimes emotion is the reason why we fail or succeed in certain area. But if emotion makes us fail then we just need to adjust our feelings and don't focus in negative side but put more focus on how you will improve your performance so that bad situation will not happen again.

William Hill is the first place where I experienced this lost in the garden feeling. Lol! Well I use to gamble in william hill on roulette for hours and until I fallen into tears of loosing everything. On second day I use to come over again with feeling that I will get my lost money plus some profit for today but hell no my emotions always ended up with broken hopes.

Since then I learnt how it is important to control yourself while gambling! Then on wards I stopped real world gambling and came to internet world so that I won't put all of my money right in the pocket of HOUSE!  For me gambling is safe now as limit my daily spending and I don't get GREEDY! That's the only way to win this baby.  Wink

Exactly, in gambling you must have less emotion on betting to wherever it is.
And try not to regret if you loss your coins. Remember that you were once happy before you got the point of regret.

This was happen in me I cant control my emotions when trading. When we learn to trade we should keep in mind to analyze the situation first in order to come up the right decision. However, there is a need to understand the situation, analyzation and decision making by these things we can manage our emotions.

I manage my emotions in trading activity with does not use much capital for trading altcoins
because if I use much capital for trading when price down I can not control my emotions
because of fears losing money in trading but if I use small capital for trading altcoins my emotions is stable.

I simply manage my emotion by simply having a good nap, because I feel like my heart's gonna blown up to pieces when i started to gamble my money, and every time i lose my money i cant calm myself and i was like "i do need to make a comeback" and i feel uneasy, thats why i lost a lot of my money in gambling.

Then in trading, i also feel the same way, because in trading you cant predict what will happen next in alt coins, if it will pump/dump.
Thats why you need to observe and predict of what will  happen in every decision you make in gamblin&trading.

Indeed, emotions does really affect any person on anything that he do specially on trading and gambling or even decision making on real life situations because if you do on a state on which emotions does control you then expect you will do things that supposed not to be done because this would really lead problems on what you are doing.
