There is also a risk for using phone wallet. It's like, if you lose your phone or forget bring your phone. But phone wallet is also have a advantage. For me i prefer using blockchain.

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

i stored online..
but think need create wallet on pc
if you've been wearing a lot of authentication in your online wallet like I did in blockchain is using SMS verification each will be logged. I think it's pretty safe and you do not need to make a lot of wallets again

It's also have a risky though. If you forget bring your phone or lost your phone, you can't open your online bitcoin wallet. Better using other authentication imo.

i think having the phone is quite a good choice. There can be a backup code in case the phone lose and can change the verification code into another phone.
But I think phone wallet is not much that risky, it will be the same as our wallet for notes/cash-currency in our pocket. Its lose will be the same as the lose of our fiat wallet, and a phone on its lose can be easily deactivated/locked.

I use more than wallet usually to store my bitcoins, i use blockchain, Pc wallet and also Coinbase wallet. But i think that the safest method is to store bitcoins with your owned wallet with the secured private key

you can use paper wallet creted by vanitygen offline method, you can custom your wallet. for me paper wallet is the best wallet, it's secured wallet, No online conection and no stored at online service

Paper wallet is also the best wallet for me,some of my bitcoin it store there most of them while some are online so i could do may daily transaction.

paper wallet created just for holding bitcoin, so we can hold it, without scare from hacker. we can save paper wallet at safety box, so we can hold bitcoin for long time

I use blockchain, but only for small amounts of money. I think that the best method to store higher amount of money is paper print as long as you don't spill it with your morning cofee haha Cheesy

I can't make backups of my fiat money! Trust me, I would if I could!
If I lose my phone, the only risk is that someone might brute-force the 6 digit pin before I restore a backup and empty the wallet.
On the other hand, with fiat money I'm pretty sure nobody can take it out of my wallet without physical access. With a bitcoin wallet there is a (small) possibility for that to happen.

I store my bitcoins in multiple wallets IMO it's the best to do so.
I think it can be better although if the PC is vulnerable then it won't matter much..

It is better to use a vault then storing bitcoin in multiple addresses.. xapo have it's insured vault. you can store you all bitcoin's in xapo's vault . it is very secured and safe but if by chance your account got hacked and your vault balance got stoled then you can claim your money and xapo is responsible to pay you because of it insurance policy.

Yeah the phone wallet is a better choice as with that you will have your wallet in your hand anytime any where, just like your fiat wallet in your hand anytime. So with that you can pay anywhere.

wallets online like block chain or coinbase are safe. Better you would go ahead with offline wallets, paper or cold storage to keep it safe. That is the thing i know online wallets can be unsafe but i have had a small amount in blockchain.info since i here.

The same case is here but I also have xapo and coinbase for some of my uses, and I think in case of online wallets we should have a number of wallets so if one id down we can pay with the other for our services.
But online wallets are risky, it is better to have your own wallet on your PC and have full control on your coins, just think what will happen if the website where your wallet is gone down and you cannot access to your coins in time of need.

Just online, you need a very big chunk of bitcoins to find value in storing them offline or buying a hardware wallet for them, for small amounts I think a pc wallet or an online wallet would be decent but PC wallet is better IMO if you can secure your computer.
