Personally I think that in 2018 we will see only flat. And only in 2019 after start regulating cryptocurrencies market by some governments we will see recovery of bitcoin and whole market. In my opinion Bitcoin get new ATH only in the end of 2019.
As the demand of bitcoin continues to increase each passing day and large investors join the market, I can sense that Bitcoin has the potential to grow wider, bigger, and will have a brighter future. I believe that it's volatility is part of any market condition, it will continue to occur but I think there will just be a light price correction. Bitcoin adoption will take time, but I hope if not all, most countries or establishments will accept it in the long run, many will recognize it and fully-understand the nature of technology.

I think Bitcoin will be more interested and liked by investors, but people who do not want Bitcoin will be more and more intensely attacking Bitcoin with various negative issues.

bitcoin has still have a potential of it but still a long term to wait that development and because of that we need a lot of support it to make it better for the community in the future
Bitcoins future is very promising and attractive because of its varied features which enables business people ,investors and the common people also involved in bitcoin usage.Bitcoin can be mined only up to 21 million So the supply of bitcoin is limited and the market demand naturally will increase and hence its price can be shoot up. Bitcoin has attained the investors confidence so its market capital is very strong.and its daily traded volume also good. Its price can grow up to any level for the next few years.
Bitcoin is a good addition to the system of transaction specially in business and in the market. bitcoin has many technological limitations(1MB size of block, takes long time to process your transaction) and so had been hardforked to bch, btg.
it could only be used as currency since they do not support platform like ethereum does.
currently many icos are based on ethereums, cause they support tokens on their platform.

Bitcoin is the future technology, I think the future of bicoin will bright. I believe it. Bitcoin will be needed in the future.
Today, some investors consider crypto-currencies the future world currency, the other part - a bubble that is about to burst. Yes it is true what you say it.
