OmiseGo is already up 30000% since ico. It is really hard to pump this coin, and they are working with golem, the biggest scam in history. Bunch of students did money grab and they didn’t deliver...

I agree that omg may not be able to have another 30x growth any time soon but beside that, there is a lot of good things that omg is doing. You say that they are working with golem and thus they put a bad viewing eye lens on them. How about they are working with macdonald? They even got involved in thai banking conferences. There is so many more things than just about the golem but people tends to see bias views.

Of course you do, and so do I, I mean, who doesn't? But to my surprise I've found in my MEW some OMG tokens which were airdropped to me just because I had a few ETHs in the wallet.

Here is the url about it :

The hype is pretty much gone for this coin, so i do agree with you that people should be cautious when investing in this. Researching more should give you more of a confident decision.

I think omiseGO is worth a small investment. It is a company with pretty good staff and the business model is definitely interesting.

I still haven't checked what the hell this one is, but i've seen some serious brands making so called "deals" (whatever these deals are) with OmiseGO. So for example I've heard McDonalds is involved. Im sure all these deals is what driving all that hype and hence price up. I doubt the technology does anywhere revolutionary to justify these prices, it must be more brand hype, just like ETH, NEOS, STRAT and all these smart contract platforms getting big brands on board causing pumps (and dumps).

I too didn't yet understand what will it be used for. I guess the acronym OMG has helped the hype since everybody is just reading Oh My God and will remember this coin.

At the moment omisego is at a very low price and the marketcap is also very low if you compare to others. But its maybe the right time to buy some and just hodl...i got a few for myself

How much is OMG's ICO price? I am not updated with this, why did say its low? Is it below ICO price? I did trade Omise Go but on short trade before and I did not make extensive research but I know this is a promising coins. Hope someone can give more info here.

The prospect is really good in my opinion, and if you read about other competitor that claimed to be the same with omisego but better, and a lot of the project are trying to copy and pasting the omisego idea.
I believe you will get a good future with omisego and why you don't also invest in the snip because that was including on the future promising project too.

I think that the hype on this coin has ended. But the price is not so interesting for me so far. By the way, the whole project, idea and the concept are very promising and usefull. We should observe that coin.

Looking at the OMG price history since it was launched in my opinion OMG is really cool. The initial price of $ 0.4 and the highest price OMG $ 13.2 and now the price $ 8 I think it is a good achievement and I am interested to hold it up to 2-3 months.

When it gets up in the $8 range, it makes it difficult to invest.  I think a lot of people in crypto see this as the area where returns are not going to be HUGE and it's a bit risky.  But that being said, I'm sure most were saying that with ETH.

So seriously... if Governments / Banks come guns blazing to shutdown Bitcoin, could the decentralized network still operate if they were able to shutdown the big ASIC farms that may be obvious targets? Would shutting down the major ASIC operations slow down the processing power of the transaction network enough to grind it to a halt?

At this moment in Thailand. Most of bank rush to release their mobile application with wallet to benefit from national standardize QR-code.
Kbank is major player now but SCB in the news on link above try to catch up with them. At the end it is the game of getting market share of mobile banking.
However, if Thai people travel to Japan, Korea or Europe. Omise can gain advantage fro customer to use the same wallet of Thai bank to pay merchant at other country without exchange fiat.
Or Omise can partnering with anyone to do Cash In/Out as they plan to exchange any unused Thai Baht coin and note to any prefer fiat right to tourist wallet. I think this could gain a lot of tourist attraction. You know right how many people visit Thailand per year?

Be careful of all these types of deals because the price already takes into account them. If the deals go through, the prices do not move so much since it was already expected. But if the deals do not go through, then you are in trouble.

OMG is all right for the regional movement. I read about an American version of Omisego, called Metalpay. Same concepts, maybe more interesting?

metalpay is just  ridicules they have nothing!! They are in luck that they were one of the first icos... and they got listed on bittrex

You should read their whitepaper or watch some videos on YT explaining OMG: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGDLvi6q-3M

In a nutshell, OmiseGo is a decentralized exchange and wallet blockchain focused on banking for the unbanked.
