Same as gold and other commodities. People use bitcoin as an investment asset. They buy and then exchange it again with fiat for profit. For me bitcoin is very profitable if we can use it well

in my opinion it doesn't have to only be one of them. i myself have all of the motivations! to make money, to speculate, to use as a medium of exchange and on top of that to also learn more about an interesting technology and gain some additional skills.

and i think that is the correct way to go. bitcoin is many things, it is not just a currency to use as a medium of exchange so why not take advantage of all the opportunities it is providing?

For now, I use bitcoin only to invest. I don't like trading and in my country transactions are not permitted to use Bitcoin.
I think I entered the world of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin because I believe bitcoin is a very good technological development. And I'm sure bitcoin will continue to grow. That's why I'm here and start using bitcoin as a future investment.

1. Speculative/trading/buying coins hoping to get rich.

2. As a medium of exchange, currency to buy stuff just like you would for money.

3. As a means in itself to make money, i.e mining.

Also why did you get into bitcoin?

1. You were one of the first movers? You thought it was cool, interesting, you were here from the start?
2. Revolutionary ideas that it's going to change the world, banking system, etc.
3. You were just curious and then the more you looked into it, you saw how cool it was and promising(me).
4. Speculation, wanting to get rich.

Numbers 1 and 2 for me but the smaller percentage being on number 2
as i hold more bitcoin than i spend.

It is obvious though that bitcoin is something different to everyone but
the main usage now is a speculative one

I still keep my bitcoins, expecting a little more benefit. But in the future I would like to be able to pay for goods and services using bitcoins. And I came to the crypto, since I was interested to find out what it is.

In fact, everything you mentioned in your points suits me.
I use cryptocurrencies to pay for various services on the Internet, I trade them to earn and I am fascinated by this technology. I believe that cryptocurrencies are the future of finance and blockchain is the future of the economy around the world.

Almost everyone's main goal is currently focused on investment. Everyone is investing in the future value of Bitcoin and in order to make money.

A small number of people like me, are not looking at Bitcoin as USD. What is important for us is just how many satoshi we have. We do not sell Bitcoin to buy USD, I think the market is keeping up with that way.

I do not hold bitcoins as yet, although i have stored up in some very promising altcoins which has good products and high potential return on investment. I do not yet use the applications of these coins, amd am more concerned with the profit value.
I am learning more on the product value of bitcoin and some other altcoins.

I have experience trading on the NYSE. About a month ago, I started trading Bitcoin. I also have some long-term investments. I'm sure that Bitcoin will greatly increase in price in the future, so I think that it is profitable to invest in it now.

I use bitcoin as a speculative tool. I do not actively trade but with little investments i can go long or short Bitcoin at intervals. But i hodl majority of my assets. And also regularly flip other alternative currencies i earn for BTC.

I got in during the hight of the pump, although not as an investor. The market requires careful understanding of the fundamentals.

I use Bitcoin in trading on exchanges. And I came to the world of crypto for the fact that for me it was initially interesting and then I realized that you can make a lot of money here.
