Dash's DAO does not work.  All it does is fund scams and vaporware and stupid shit like Acrobatics Man and rain panchos.

EG, Dash's DAO funded Evolution development years ago, but the "January 2016" demo Evan promised is now two years late, with zero accountability for the poor project management, dearth of meaningful communication, and complete lack of deliverables.

Dash's DAO couldn't even get Dash ATMs working (something Bitcoin had in 2013 with Lamassu), nor could it deliver Dash debit cards (something Bitcoin has thanks to Coinbase SHIFT).

hey iCEBREAKER, here's why you need to know more about DASH:

Dash recommended as the cryptocurrency for merchants

The Free State Bitcoin Shoppe has stopped taking Bitcoin payments for merchandise, and instead recommends Dash for merchants.

Liberty Forum drops Bitcoin for tickets after 7 years, switches to DASH!

Liberty Forum has dropped Bitcoin as a payment option for tickets in favor of an upcoming switch to Dash, ending seven years of Bitcoin acceptance.

The flagship conference of the libertarian intentional community initiative the Free State Project, Liberty Forum is one of the world’s premier conferences on pro-liberty thought and activism, with a cutting-edge and cypherpunk bent, which has led to an early and heavy focus on cryptocurrencies. Past speakers have included Edward Snowden, Rick Falkvinge, Patrick Byrne, Lyn Ulbricht, Jeffrey Tucker, and others. Notably, the Free State Project has accepted Bitcoin as a form of payment for all events since 2011, just two years into cryptocurrency’s existence and three years prior to Dash’s creation.

Now, combined with a sponsorship of the event, Liberty Forum has announced it will drop Bitcoin as a payment option citing challenges and difficulties with handling payments for tickets, and has embraced DASH, working on setting it up as soon as possible as the exclusive cryptocurrency payment option moving forward. According to the Free State Project’s Interim Executive Director Rachel Goldsmith, DASH solves some of the issues they have been having with payments, and looks forward to a longer-term partnership:

DASH is an obvious answer to the challenges our event attendees have been dealing with when trying to pay with crypto. We love the high speed transactions, low fees, and decentralization. Liberty Forum is the natural place for us to debut a relationship with DASH!

Finally, in order to cement this new relationship, Dash Force News readers will be given a 10% discount on tickets when using the promotional code “DFN10” for purchases.

'Ask ABJ!' -- Amanda Answers 18 Questions From Viewers

https://youtu.be/4bBpuL1rexA

Viewers recently submitted questions they'd like to "Ask ABJ," and Pete The Manservant has selected 18 of them. Amanda B. Johnson hears them at the same time you do, and answers impromptu in this casual Dash/cryptocurrency interview.

00:22 How can I invest and earn money in Dash, and help its market cap grow?
02:41 What do you hope to accomplish with the four cities tour?
03:55 If Dash and Bitcoin become the reserve currencies in the future, what changes?
06:21 Could you recount your metamorphosis from The Daily Decrypt to DASH: Detailed?
10:00 Do you think your appreciation of cryptocurrencies could be enhanced by learning a programming language?
12:22 Do you conduct interviews from a schedule of talking points or are they all unexpected?
13:33 If being a predictable store of value is part of what money is, why are cryptocurrencies so volatile?
18:05 What do you know about the Dash.io wallet app for iPhone? I assume it's not safe.
20:42 Regarding Dash scalability: what's the maximum number of transactions per second? How many nodes and wallets?
23:52 Dash has obvious advantages over other cryptocurrencies, so why isn't it doing better?
26:42 Is there anything that you think Dash could do better to appeal to "normal" everyday people?
28:39 How do you make sure you don't fall into confirmation-bias and stay impartial (where possible)?
30:15 What have you seen in other cryptocurrencies that you like and think that Dash could benefit from?
31:49 What about the Dash treasury process and masternode voting do you think could be improved?
34:47 Does anyone live exclusively off Dash and how?
36:24 What are the cities that are hotspots in the world for Dash, in terms of users and merchant acceptance?
38:13 Could there be a contest that would award Dash to those driving the greatest per-capita adoption in their city?
39:20 When are "Bitcoin Meetups" going to call themselves "Crypto- currency Meetups", or whatever would be better?

I have been told now you need 1 millio dollars to run a dash masternode, how much did it cost in the beginning of the coin?
When I first read about Dash, rate was $10 with 1000 coins needed.

The Masternode Governance Model is awesome,
whereas Bitcoin has argued for 3 years about how to scale and is still fighting (and forking),
DASH held a vote and raised block size to 2MB, boom, easy, done.

9 pages of spammy bullshit. Dash is the fucking worst

hey Mr. DrkLvr, you are drunk! forget bitcoin, the DASH is much faster than Bitcoin. Bitcoin transactions are ridiculously slow right now, the average Bitcoin transaction fee ($10.17) is now more than twice the cost of Bitcoin itself ($5) in 2011. Nostalgia and inertia-fueled masochism: Using Bitcoin instead of DASH in 2017.

hey pay attention, DASH has the best grassroots team in the crypto business! and the network of dash masternodes is the great idea of the crypto business!

DASH is up 8000%, roughly six times the rise of BTC, according to coinmarketcap. it's easy to see why!
