The thread was made 3 months ago when OP was new to bitcointalk.
He is now a member and in a sig campaign, I am sure he no longer need further explanations.

???hi everybody i am here with yet another one of my newbies questions. Huh
i thank you all for responding to me  Roll Eyes

well whenever someone asks how to get some BTC there is this common answer to joins some sig. camp.
so How exactly does signature campaigns work?
you just put the link they give you inside you sig. area and do your usual postings?
or
you have to post about them, i mean like advertising?

Your assumption is pretty close.

There is a space below your posts where you can put anything as a signature. This signature will be visible to all forum members whenever you post.
Some services 'rent' your signature space. They place their advertisement in that space.

The more you post, the more this advertisement will be visible to people, so they pay you BTC per post. The more you post, the more BTC you earn. But of course, spamming the forum with useless posts is not allowed and may even lead to banning.

See here for all active signature campaigns:

If you post constructively and proficiently, you can make some decent coin from Sig Campaigns.

For example, if you're Senior or Hero Member and in a pay per post campaign, you can with the right mindset and posting content, reach 0.3 BTC a month or more.

It's not a replacement for a full time job by any means, but can definitely act as a good supplement of income.

Put advertiser signature code into your signature space,
then you're ready to advertise them.

Usual postings must not be like this :
"i agree",
"lol",
"nice one",
"I like your style",
and many more

If you do, then you probally will not get paid or probally got ban

just becareful  Wink
i joined one and i will continue my normal activity in this forum like any other forum and try to increase my knowledge of bitcoin and it is good to be able to earn a couple of bits beside that

Good for you Smiley, now you need to slowly build up your activity to hit SR member, the signature choice is much more when you hit that level..

Is a post with one line but made sense acceptable in a sig campaign?
Definition of constructive post is anything that contributes to the topic being discussed and providing new opinions or points. If your post is one line but have information or contribution to the topic, yes it is acceptable. Just do not spam the forum by saying '+1', 'I agree', 'bump' or 'LOL'. They are considered not constructive. As much as possible, give as much point and contribute as much as possible to the topic.

Quantity isnt always quality, I could have said what you said in 1 sentence (yet both are still constructive)..

you apply to be included in a sig campaign, find offers in the services section. You usually need higher ranking status (higher status= higher rewards) you must post a minimum amount weekly or monthly, and your posts must be substantial and on topic ( no "cool story bruh or  Grin ) also, obviously, NO TROLLS!

Dont expect to get rich, but if you are on these forums quite a lot and are a regular thoughtful poster its really like free money.

Caveat- I am an investor in the company I show in my sig, so I am motivated to participate for the payouts and because I support the company I am invested in. double-good!

yes, but some campaigns ask you to make at least 20 (or 15, or 30) posts weekly
sometimes you have to put theirs ad text not only in signature but also in your personal message (see mine for example)

I will receive 5000 satoshi for this comment:)

Signature Campaigns, like the one I joined as you can see
aim to spread the word.

Its purpose is to pay people who post frequently and have higher reputation,
so their service will be spread throughout the forum Smiley
