I don’t think that investing on Bitcoin is a foolish work. On the contrary I think it is a very good and cleaver to invest on Bitcoin. With proper judgement and market research we anyone can gain much trough investing on bItcoin. 
There are people who invest bitcoin because it is a reliable and promising coin and it can help them to gain benefits and profit on it. But I do not agree what you have said that how stupid people invest in bitcoin because it is not the truth next to it that will help them succeed in life.
People investing in btc are not foolish, they realized that btc is the best investment to earn a lot for them to live a better life.
