Bitcoin has changed my life a lot and I want to express my gratitude to Bitcoin. I would also like to thank this Bitcointalk forum for providing a lot of important information about Bitcoin. Give Bitcoin a try, Bitcoin will surely change your life too.

Bitcoin won't surely change the life of anyone who invests in it. It won't be able to sustain the previous rate of growth forever. And not everyone will be able to find their place in Bitcoin economy, because Bitcoin economy is so tiny compared to the global economy.

It's great that you personally feel that Bitcoin is life-changing, but it's not life-changing on a global scale.

Well, congratulations on your investments I guess it's a good profit you made there, well if you can hold your Bitcoin you have nothing to worry about since you not going to lose money if you not going to sell your Bitcoin at the wrong market price. In experience, it is not a good thing to invest in cryptocurrency especially if you doesnt have some kind of savings like what you have said because you're just gonna end up depending on your cryptocurrency profit, and probably you're going to sell your investment at the wrong timing since your gonna need the money if there was some kind of emergency but if you can hold I guess its great but in my experience is difficult to do that if you doesnt really have any sources of income.

Also make sure that you really know what you are doing, considering that you mention that Bitcoin is banned in your country. I mean that could be trouble if you get caught, It's still possible to invest in Bitcoin even though the government doesnt really allow you to since it is just like the internet they can really ban Bitcoin completely but still you need to be careful investing on it since your investment for sure might get taken by the government.

I realized that Bitcoin is not only a digital currency, but it can create financial freedom for many more poor people like me. I decided to buy some more bitcoins and I will make my life better and more comfortable. I quit my teaching job and started working an online freelancer so that I can earn more. I bought myself a new laptop, a smartphone and a computer. I helped the poor with some expenses and loans.
It was a good read up to this point. I mean, I would say you’ve done just well for yourself but, having to quit your teaching job for online freelancer jobs that don’t offer much (I don’t say this in comparison of your teaching job against the freelancer but, on the whole), with you giving loans, that would mean withdrawing from your hodlings, don’t seem like the best lives for me.

I never estimate freelancing jobs, if a person have good contact, it can even out-earn even the managerial positions.  I have a friend who is a general manager of a store, but resigned and focused his time in doing freelancing jobs.  The last time I talked to him, he stated taht he is doing well and did not regret his decision.

There is one thing to teaching though, it doesn’t entirely rest in the hands of profit making but, in the ability to impact and build future generations. You’re trying to create copies of yourself that might teach your children tomorrow.
Even still, the teaching job can’t effectively have much defect on your online activities and awareness. You’re still going to create time to attend to that.
Surely you know what’s best for you but, I don’t so much like the idea of having to quit a job to be more engaged online.

People's future is not our responsibility.  It is quite sad to see teachers build other generations' futures when their futures themselves are uncertain.  The government should increase the wages of the teachers so that it can compensate for their perseverance in doing their best to teach students and equip them for their future endeavors.

Congratulations to you.
Teaching is a noble job but these times, you have to choose what makes you happy in life and the career that you're about to take.
If you're able to buy all of those things and you're doing well in life now, that's because of how you did it on your own.
It's true that bitcoin brings financial freedom but it is only applicable to those that are holding it and has got some other jobs as source of their income.

It is a good thing that your Bitcoin investment @OP had given you opportunity to profit and use them for a good cause.  This story is one of the many that provide proof that investing in Bitcoin and exercising patience while acquiring knowledge can lead to a fruitful gain.

Bitcoin can not change your life just a sudden, you will work to bring out the divident of you getting profit in bitcoin before it will change your life, let us not seen bitcoin  as the easiest way of making money or what will change someone's life without hardworking, all investment is measured by plan and strategies, when you have not strategies very well in any investment you will end up in making some certain mistakes in bitcoin investment, just know that bitcoin is an asset and an asset some times devalued in which can happen in bitcoin at any point in time.

Bitcoin had never been the easiest way of making money.  We have to wait several years others even 8 year or more to see the sweet fruit of their investment.  Those who cash out in a short time frame got a profit but it is not as life changing as those who waited for more than 2 cycles of Bitcoin market.

You didn't mentioned about price of Bitcoin decreasing and only mentioned its price increasing. Anyway, congratulations on earning profit when you bought Bitcoin. I would also say that Bitcoin can indeed change a person's life as it also affected mine. We all have some of our shares of ups and downs. In short, we have opportunities many times in Bitcoin like the time where I earn BTC where I didn't spend much and earn $2000.

Hello everybody,

I am a newbie member of bitcointalk forum. I want to share with you the story of how my life has changed because of Bitcoin. I think this story inspires some of you who are still hesitant about Bitcoin.

I live in Bangladesh, a country with a very poor economy and bitcoin banned. I am a teacher in a local school. I earn a small amount of money which ends up covering my household expenses. I had no savings, no investments, no hope for the future.

One day, I came to know about Bitcoin from one of my elder brothers. He said, Bitcoin is a digital currency that was coined by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009 and Bitcoin can be traded online. He also said that the supply of bitcoins is limited. There is only a supply of 21 million bitcoins, and this causes the price of bitcoin to increase over time.

I decided to learn more about Bitcoin after listening to his words. I found this Bitcointalk forum after searching on YouTube & Google. From here I have read many posts about Bitcoin which explain the basics of Bitcoin. I was surprised by the demand for Bitcoin. I then decided to buy some bitcoins with a small portion of my salary.

I bought 0.01 BTC with 10000 BDT from Binance Exchange in September 2020. 1 BTC cost about 1 million BDT then. I stored my bitcoins in a secure wallet that I controlled myself. I didn't tell anyone about my Bitcoin trading because I was afraid of being scammed or hacked.

I continued to buy some more bitcoins with some of my salary every month.I learned how to use bitcoin better, like using different wallets when making transactions, using VPN to protect my private information and using a hardware wallet to store my bitcoins offline. I became more familiar with Bitcoin.

At one point I noticed that the price of Bitcoin was constantly rising. Bitcoin price reached 2 million BDT in December 2020, 4 million BDT in March 2021, 8 million BDT in June 2021 and 16 million BDT in September 2021. I was once again surprised by the demand for Bitcoin transactions. My 0.01 BTC is now worth 160,000 BDT, 16 times the price of Bitcoin in one year!

I still have some bitcoins in my wallet, which I plan to keep for a long time. I believe the price of Bitcoin will increase further in the future and the demand for Bitcoin will increase. There are other aspects of Bitcoin such as: Mining, Lightning Network, Smart Contracts, etc. I want to learn more about and contribute to the development of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has changed my life a lot and I want to express my gratitude to Bitcoin. I would also like to thank this Bitcointalk forum for providing a lot of important information about Bitcoin. Give Bitcoin a try, Bitcoin will surely change your life too.

Thank you for reading my life story and have a good day!

BTC uncovers great opportunites, I think that the best investment strategy is lon-term hodling (I'd rather not call it an investment - it's just like buying something valuable). I think that there is a chance to get some profit out of btc savings in a couple of years. Moreover, in case of dollar (or other fiat) inflation there is a chance to save the invested money (however, its just a chance, not guarantee)...

Yes, it is true that Bitcoin has changed the lives of many people, but more importantly, it has also changed people's attitude towards the nature of money.
That is so true! Thanks to bitcoin I started learning more and more about the financial world, how to properly manage money, keeping under control the expenses, making a DCA plan for both BTC and ETFs, all things that before discovering bitcoin I had no idea they existed because no one ever taught me how money is supposed to be managed. What I've learnt thanks to bitcoin is priceless.

Yeah, there are things that Bitcoin has taught as far as investment goes, there are times that we want to sell to get profits, but then again we should think of long term. And I guess everyone's life here that has been touch by bitcoin has someone change, we become financially freedom, although some of us here could still be un-banked, but that's why bitcoin or to some extend some crypto's are here for that purpose. I just want to reiterate though that we shouldn't take advantage because of the profits that we are getting. Still we have to diversify to other investment as well so that we can built wealth continuously.

Welcome to the Bitcointalk forum friends. Bitcoin changed my life, This is a fact! I did too many things when I joined crypto especially investing in bitcoin! I've lost a lot of money! Then I realized whether I would leave this or continue it but for the better.

So I kept going. Most of the time now I invest heavily and just survive. Just put in bitcoins that you have researched and trust then Invest in them and away you go. I invest every week because I do the DCA strategy, regardless of the downturn. Dollar-cost averaging is real. HODLing is right and must be done because soon we will have a Bitcoin Halving! Breathe and collect yourself, panic buy, but don't panic sell.

The price history and computation doesn’t tally when I view price on the coinmarketcap. Let's use USD dollars to profit multiplier, You said that you purchase Bitcoin during September 2020 which according to the graph is 10K will be your lowest buy price at that time. Assuming you take profit on all time high which is 67k will give you an ROI equals to only x6.7 of your investment and not x16 which you are claiming.

During ATH, your 0.01BTC is 670$ which I'm not sure if sufficient to purchase all the things that you listed above including giving loans.

Are you sure about your purchase date? But this amount is really huge for people that lives on a 3rd world country like me. Good for you to have this kind of Bitcoin experience even though you invest only 3 years ago.
After reading the OP's post-history, I'm beginning to suspect the entire story. If someone has some Bitcoins in their wallet and has been on this forum for more than two years, he or she should know that bounties are not profitable enough, and for the OP to start applying for bounties, this shows that he did not hold such an amount of Bitcoin in his wallet, and the loans he claimed to have been given may also be faked.

Nonetheless, learning about and investing in Bitcoin is beneficial since it provides us with financial freedom. When we invest in Bitcoin, we have the potential to profit in the future since it has a clear future and is a transparent currency that is decentralized, which means that the government cannot control your Bitcoin in the same way that other financial institutions do with fiat currencies.

Now tell me, does your new profession allow you to buy some BTC like before?
It would be a shame if you traded that noble profession for "forum jobs" (bounties) that is almost entirely a waste of time, unless you have a special job that pays for bitcoin, but I haven't seen that from you.

Bitcoin has changed my life a lot and I want to express my gratitude to Bitcoin.

You should have sent your gratitude to your friends who introduced you to bitcoin. Your story is inspiring that despite a low monthly income you took the courage to invest in bitcoin. You have changed your life by making the right choice to put some money into bitcoin.

As you have said you are still learning about the technology so try to increase your knowledge about the technical stuff and non-custodial wallet security of bitcoin and pass this information on to your next generation. We should take all the steps to prepare ourselves and our next generation for the upcoming technological and economic changes.

The security of your wallet's contents needs to be maintained and paid attention to regularly. By keeping it a secret without telling anyone, it is a good step for you to take because privacy needs to be maintained.
Keeping bitcoin transactions and purchases secret is the same as keeping other people from identifying our bitcoin address. If the public already knows our bitcoin address, privacy could be threatened.

Congratulations to those of you who have experienced change because of Bitcoin. Hopefully your inspiring story can happen to me someday as I am currently walking along the road to bitcoin freedom.

I guess you already knew about Bitcointalk for a long time and decided to register an account just this month.Hope it's not what I'm thinking though. Roll Eyes

I came to this forum around 2020 but never opened an account. Just read some valuable posts related to Bitcoin. Later I opened an account on this forum this month itself.
Congratulations on your achievement and welcome to the forum. Reading stories of how Bitcoin has impacted positively on the life of individuals give me great joy. It also serves as a source of confidence for newbies to keep believing in Bitcoin even in the face of fear and uncertainty.  I am also pleased that you have the zeal to learn about Bitcoin in this forum. It also amazes me that you have been visiting the forum for the past three years and failed to open an account. Why the sudden change of mind after these years? Nevertheless, I wish you all the best as we learn and contribute to this community.

Yes, it is true that Bitcoin has changed the lives of many people, but more importantly, it has also changed people's attitude towards the nature of money.
Bitcoin has changed people lives in two senses, firstly, some people got a lot of money through bitcoin, and through trading I can say, and secondly it has changed many people lives in a negative way, do you know how?
The negative affect of this has been a lot of people has invested their money in trading and in return the had been in loss, after taking loans and too many money from their relatives, friends etc., and after all these they got intro depression and are facing a lot of problem. This is an example of a person in my country who is suffering from it.
