Thanks for the input guys. I ve been checking out other threads too and after reading this one, many (the consensus ) seems to be .01 ETC which would be a pretty crazy ride. Ok, time to watch it play out. .00483000 right now. I thought it would dip but so far its staying up there.

ETC is just a few months old, several coins have traveled down this path before. It's too early to assume the pump will last for ever... time will tell.

I think it's a case of "would the last ETH investor please turn the lights off on the way out?"....

Once we reach parity, those remaining ETH investors who left it right up until the last moment to jump ship will be itching for a profit to reverse their losses. Ironically therefore, they will be the most vocal of ETC's protagonists.

Once we reach parity, the combination of the immutibility-trust-community axis combined with the desire to make huge amounts of money, will push proceedings in favor a pro-ETC environment. As ETC inches forward past parity, the confirmation will be obvious and the levees will break.

This is what happens when you fuck with immutability in favor of rewarding your investors. None of us are in cryptocurrencies to be slaves to special interests, and this will be the chief takeaway from the whole experience that people will look back upon.

Or to put it another way: Don't fuck with decentralization in the middle of a decentralization revolution.

Typical Altcoin pump, few more days or weeks it will go down and turn be one of those forgotten Altcoins, here today gone tomorrow. To those who plans to hold them long, think twice or you'll be sorry.

I don't know how high ETC can go, but can it's devs innovate as much as ETH devs ? ...

who cares, they are both pump and dump coins.
these days ETC is the hottest coin in the board and the price is rising which ETH is being dumped and the next day this will be reversed and again and again...
the developer's big fail with his hard fork created this mess and traders are enjoying it right now.

I concur, Parity will happen for sure, just a matter of when, what do you think happens when ETH goes POS, all those GPU miners will come straight into ETC, the difficulty bomb can be forked on ETC and POW can continue.

ETC has taken over for the last few days on Poloniex trollbox and on here there are tons of threads pretty much identical to this very one, they will meet somewhere ETC & ETH around the 0.01 mark methinks.

Hi guys,

Your opinion on just how HIGH ETC will go please!

It is currently at .00446000 as I write this. Is it really bubble phase or is there more upside?

What are you personally doing? Buying?- staying away? Selling?
just join the ride mate the possibility is take around .01 or more so if there's a possibility for you go and ride
it is still too early for this coin to fly so better to think and invest.

Well, I fully expect ETH and ETC to converge in price at around 0.01BTC.
Question is how soon this happens.

Every few months they make further development and come with more and more innovations, and i'm 99% confident they'll make scalability work, which currently is the biggest problem in blockchain ecosystem, and ethereum team is the closest to fixing it.
Yes, yes, it's open source and every failed dev can copy it, but in who investors place their trust and money, copy pasters or 2016 innovators ?
@iamnotback , you are probably light years ahead of them so where / what exactly buterin and his team failed now ? You kept saying, in every step of their project development, that or that wont work, and yet here we are.
@BTCloving dude, are you serious ? ETC shills are everywhere on this forum, there are like 50 active topics hyping it.

ETC has been rising nonstop for the past few days and it seems to be going even higher despite all the negative news the spammers spread about it.

but just because of this nonstop rise i am expecting some temporary drop because people will cash out after any pump and then after it the price will continue going up leaving ETH behind.

it has already started too, the high was 0.0049 and we are taking some steps back for the moment, not sure about the bottom though!

You sound exactly like an ETH bagholder.

Im sorry to inform you that ETC is taking over ETH and you are in denial if you cannot see this fact already. We will reach parity with ETH, then ETH bagholders will realize their mistake by supporting bailoutchain, and will move to ETC en masse.
