I found information about bitcoin and blockchain back in 2017 and was amazed at the fluctuation of the price. I imagine if I know about this before that, at the most beginning of its made for example, will I keep it as my treasure or like some people who threw bitcoin to pay pizzas. I think it won't be that amazing that 1 bitcoin-only valued pennies, and I'll pass it because I'm not tech-savvy. Honestly, at first, I was interested in Bitcoin just because of how the price can rise up hundreds percent in one night. So I won't see the potential when it's first coming up. Such a shame, but  I'm grateful enough to know about Bitcoin thou'.

I believe that no time someone notice about bitcoin is late, because bitcoin is something that is global and influential and even know as continuous process digital currency, really even now you know about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin you can as well do more better than those once that started some years back, so no hope or time is useless, going into trading is base on capital, because if you are not financial buoyant enough you can't adventure into trading because of it's lost, so now that you have known cryptocurrency more especially bitcoin you equally make the same amount of cash you're emphasising or capitalizing on.
The kind of passive income people that bought bitcoin long ago generated can turn poor person to a very wealthy person, even a computer can mine 50 bitcoin when bitcoin just started, I heard about this forum freely distributing bitcoin to users which can not happen again now, I heard about faucets that pay 1 bitcoin for just visit the site and claim the bitcoin, it was like no opportunity in those days, but people that took advantage of the period are now rich. What I do not like is that I know about bitcoin late, but you are still not wrong because no time is late if someone want to be positive and think in a way that will help him. For trading, it is highly risky, but what you said is right, trading is for the rich people, if someone is not having enough to trade, the money will be liquidated fast.

I used to regret for not knowing Bitcoin earlier as well too because the level my friends that knew about Bitcoin are right now,I can't compare me to them. They have made some cash for themselves. They knew about Bitcoin earlier, and they invested in it,and now they are doing very well more better than me.As they used to say, that if you are not informed, you are deformed. It was when I heard about it later on,that I started trading with bitcoin.

You know what's worse, knowing about it and also knowing the probability of 'it being next big thing' you chose to do nothing about it. I'm in crypto since 2014 and my decisions are so great I cringe at them at least once a day.

There is a saying in my village that goes - what ever time of the day a man wakes from sleep, that's his morning, you @op, doesn't have to blame yourself for anything, there is a time for everything, if you wish you knew about bitcoin in the early days, and think by this you would be rich by now, what about those who knew about bitcoin in the early days and still poor today due to maybe not taking advantage of it or maybe other reasons which some might not be their fault?
Personally, I confess I was here when bitcoin was still around $250, $300 usd and Ethereum was around $3 $5 usd, I invested in this quite alright, but then, I sold all too early...
So now, ask yourself this question, if you were here really early as you wish, and for example, bought bitcoin at the rate of $5 or $10 usd each, would you still be holding them by now?

Lol,,, @OP. I can I.agine a lot of users or persons feel this way too, even i inclusive. How I wish I knew of it in 2009 and had the insight of its potentials. This is where, you can actually distinguish investors form every day persons.
There are those who knew and just didn't dig in, there are those who didn't have the fund or felt it wasn't worth it and there were those who lived the idea and went in with both hands. These are the once that are smiling today, the once that were able to hodl actually.

There would always be regrets but, you can be rest assured, its not too late. Bitcoin is still on the rise hence, owning what ever fragment now, its still a good investment if you like.

I am on the same boat but always remember this: the best time to invest on BTC is the time when you found about its existence! That is why, as much as you regret not knowing BTC before hand, the fact that you know about its existence now puts you on a position above others who still has no clue about it.

Just to share, my regret with knowing BTC early was that I should have kept my remaining BTCs and invested it for long term. Unfortunately, some of the campaign proceeds that I earned were spent for my books back in college. If I could have at least kept them, I would have earned around $20,000 right now- and that money could have paid my brother's education.

Its a matter of perspective and as @Lucius says anything under $100,000 is cheap.

Buying today is still within the "early adopters" stage. Most people who are entering today
will in the future ask themselves "Why didnt I get more?" just like I ask myself that same
question....

I got into Bitcoin when it was valued at $1000.

In the future todays price will look like a bargain.

I already knew about Bitcoin and I just ignore this coin because first I don't have any money and second is I don't have any knowledge regarding this coin it's too hard to invest if you don't have both of that. After I take some time to research about the possible use and help of bitcoin I tried to make an investment I tried to make a trade and all those stuff just to know more and now I keep myself knowledgeable not only in bitcoin and other coins as for now I trust already the bitcoin as long term investment but again I still keep an eye on the possible trends on the bitcoin. I'm not too late to enjoy the perks of having bitcoin and learn about it

Only thing to do is regret, OP but don't let that get to you. Pretty sure that some of the early adopters are also locked out of their wallets assuming that they are using custodial wallets. No worries about hoping the market will be back in a good price, since it happens all the time, OP. Smiley

I kind of have the same "wish" as you, but what is the point of it if you can't do anything about it anyway? Smiley

I remember last year when BTC was around ~9k and I had to urgently sell some so I asked all of those friends that were pestering me in the late 2017 when price was around then ATH, and none were interested. Naturally, year later when BTC went over 40k same people contacted me again, asking if I am willing to sell some.

People behave irrationally (most), and this is, unfortunately, a fact that stems from a misunderstanding of how the crypto market works. Most people aim for short-term profit (fast in - fast out) and therefore want to invest only when the price of a coin rises, which makes some sense if the person knows how to control himself and is not greedy. However, people find it difficult to accept long-term investments, especially when it comes to Bitcoin - because many still believe that it is a kind of Ponzi scheme that can collapse at any moment.

An acquaintance of mine told me 5 years ago that I should not invest in BTC, and he still thinks that today - so when he asks me what the situation is with BTC, I tell him that the thing has failed - which is definitely better than listening to the same stories he repeats for years.

You know now not to be late. The value of Bitcoin is not only the value of Bitcoin is not only the future. Everyone wants to pay attention to Bitcoin before. Why not believe in Bitcoin before? But the time has passed, you can't change anything.
What you can do is to grasp the opportunity. Don't let the opportunity escape.

Most of the people are saying that where they are regretting that they didn't trust bitcoin or they didn't spent their time studying it.

But it is never too late to invest and get interested to it especially that bitcoin can really change your life.

Don't be so sad and this is the best time to start and grow with it. Bitcoin investment is always possible as long as you can afford it and you are really interested in doing it.

Well, regrets are normal specially if it is bitcoin related since the difference with the price it has in the beginning compared to what we have right now is from earth to heaven. For sure, those who kept on believing in bitcoin ever since it started are now millionaires and too bad, we're not one of them hence it is not a reason to give up nor savor the pain and regrets. It is still not too late because the value will surely rise even more higher in the next few years. Just keep on investing regardless of your experiences with bitcoin or other crypto and it will surely pay off someday.

Yeah, it's not just you who wished they knew Bitcoin before, we all are. But just like what the above said they all sold it already because they don't think it would blow up like this. And look at them now, regretting their decision because how would you know if Bitcoin would be this expensive nowadays?

Well, some of them doesn't actually understand the essence of Bitcoin yet that's why they sold it early and who forgot the guy who bought pizza at BTC10,000? Imagine that you are holding that now? What would you do? Of course, if you see the price went up, you probably sold it already.

Once a man, twice a child!
How I wish I knew about Bitcoin before now, before my previous discovery about  the existence of Bitcoin and Blockchain interface which seems late to me. If I had known about Bitcoin during it's early stage, I don't think I will be in the same level that I am now.
How are you sure you wouldn't have been among those who sold off as soon as Bitcoin got to $2 like the dude below?

A lot of those who bought when Bitcoin was created don't hodl much of what they had till date, except for those who trade to buy back at dips. Again, no one thought Bitcoin would become this important within a decade and so many people didn't keep what they had with care. Remember the dude who bought two pizzas for 10,000btc? You think that if the dude had known that Bitcoin would become this valuable that he would've given away that much for mere pizzas? I don't think so. My advice to you OP is to get the much Bitcoin you can now and don't feel the pain of the current high price. For all we know, Bitcoin could be $100,000 a few weeks from now. No time is too late to buy Bitcoin.

Instead of sulking and crying around the corner like this, you might as well DCA and ignore the price for the next five or ten years. That should help when you face crazy volatility such as huge corrections like we've seen in the last years. If you don't want to do it either, maybe you're not suitable for this kind of investment. Just keep in mind, there is low-risk high-return investment is bullshit most of the time.

If I had known about Bitcoin during it's early stage, I don't think I will be in the same level that I am now.
It is people who usually portray Bitcoin as a 'get rich quick network' that think in this direction, cause they are not concerned about the advantage of 'being their own bank', neither are they elated that they have the freedom to control their funds the way they choose to in the network, they seem to only be concerned about how much they prolly would have made if they had invested a long time ago, mind you that knowledge of the Bitcoin network is as well important and necessary even if you're going to make or keep any ROI, quite a lot of people have lost both their funds and their returns as a result of lack of knowledge and the desire to make fast money out of the network. One needs to totally understand everything about the network and as well be ready to invest for the long period, if not they'll more or less make mistakes while investing and will prolly lose their funds to scammers.
