For me, its like in this forum, the longer you stay, more activities, more privileges. In the case of casinos, you get to access and join exclusive promotions for higher ranked members. Its a win win situation for both player and online casino owner because the longer a player stay logged in the site theres more chance that the player will spend more money.
It is really unexpected becomes the rewards will not came in our expected time so when it comes suddenly it will give the confidence for the future to do the gambling properly with some extra Strategies and ideas this not only in this field everyone needs the river from their field that's why they can put more effort for the future.
To me they are not important at a because I don't play enough to reach them but if you're a frequent gambler you should take them into account and appreciate the bonuses sites are offering.

Maybe if it is not really good, there are no one that use it but in fact some people use VIP membership in some gambling site. It means it is good for them. But for me i not really taking gambling very seriously, so VIP or not is no matter for me.
It's true that VIP is very fun and profitable, but for those who are not active players and just having fun, don't be too ambitious to be a VIP member because you spend your money without playing actively, nobody forbids it, but it's only for active players because every bonus and other benefits will always be obtained in a certain period when there is a big bonus applied, nothing is not good because I see it is very profitable.

I don't consider VIP rewards a lot if I want to decide in which online casino I want to play.
Most of those incentives are to make you play more in their casino and force you lose more money, thus giving them more profit. It is a strategy that helps the casino and not the gambler.

0.001btc is too smal for a vip status . What i know is that vip rank will require higher deposits or higher wagering . Some sites dont also have a leveling system or a vip feature which is good because that will be fair to all gamblers .
Vip feature is only one of the gimmicks that gambling site has think of in order to possibly attract costumers but i think its not that really important because gambling is still gambling and chances of winning will still be hard .
VIP rank on a gambling website usually related to how much we gamble on the site, I myself not a huge gambler but sometime I gamble more than usual so VIP program will be useful for me for long term purpose as probably I can get some money back in the future that I can use it for gamble or withdraw it. Frankly speaking, I have never received any rewards from such VIP program so far but maybe I'll get some in the near future although the amount is not that big. Important or not I'm very interested, VIP rewards are indeed offered by the site and for me its quite tempting for some bonus when playing and getting special attention from the admin I think it is encouraging. For you to be eligible for VIP rewards you need to wager a lot. For me i'm not into VIP rank to get a VIP reward. What i want in a gambling site is if they offer contest per week where you get a reward if you win the contest.
Once we got the opportunity to get the these things then the next move from our side will be more confident with some extra guidance because the rewards will be giving the extra power and vibration in our mind that's why they are really needed for everyone.

You do have a good point that this would probably only have a significant effect when you're at quite a high rank.
Some sites really do have great rewards if you've wagered a couple of BTC, maybe evenenough to fully offset the house-edge.
For me, I don't think that will be worth it because I don't expect to get a big win in the gambling games.

I believe Safedice (before it went weird, don't even know if it's still around) had a model for lowered house edge for higher levels of wager. Most others don't really lower the house edge for you, but the nett effect of bonuses like higher cashback, or higher lossback for higher levels is that you lower the edge.
