An announcement thread is more important than a bounty thread. That should be the first thing to be created by either the team or by you as the bounty manager.
It is expected to give the information about the project and make people to be aware of it. However, if you feel you are not good enough at it, you can demand for such service, because your presentation must be good.

First, ANN thread adds more activities to the project as it will make the team active through answering calculated questions, so in my own opinion it is very important. Also, through the ANN thread, if the team proved to be what they are , they will stand a better chance of attracting investors. However, irrespective of the fact ANN thread is important, but what also truly matters is keeping it active, monitoring it for questions as well as answering the questions. Another point you should know is, this is the largest crypto forum, so getting a project expose is kinda pretty easy.

I really do not think it is necessary to open an ANN page if you won't be active on it, there are so many ANN page here that looks dead the team is no more updating investors, some people do it to be able to raise fund for their IEO/ICO but for me the most important thing if you want to raise money through this means is to get IEO on a big exchange, the exchange will do all marketing for you and you have your money at the end and also the exchange to trade on

You have a point but you know creating the ANN Thread is also a form of marketing. The bitcointalk.org platform is one of the oldest and populous platform in cryptocurrency and thus will be doing you a huge favor to have your announcement channels here before expanding to other marketing outlets on social media (Telegram, twitter, facebook and Reddit)

Announcement threads are very important for new projects. this is one way to introduce the project to the community. usually the developers always make ANN before crowdsale (ICO / IEO). ANN also functions as a promotional medium and many people use Thread ann to ask questions about projects.

Very important if you ask me. Just as the name goes, Announcement threads are the platform where crypto start ups get to share an introduction about their project, its use case and the team members behind it. It's basically the project in summary without anybody visiting your website and having to read your whitepaper. This also exposes the project and gives you potential investors in the crypto industry.

This is the biggest forum in the crypto world and most of the community is gathered here. When you create a new project, can you find more perfect place to announce it? The best place to announce to the community. You can also list it on ICOrating sites but it will not be as effective. You can also find a lot investors for the project if the views of communities are positive.

It creates more exposure by creating an Announcement thread. Not only in english, but also in other language. The information on ANN Thread gives us an insight what project or startup is that. I think creating an ANN Thread is a good move to do, also you can introduce the team behind the project or startup.

Announcement thread will surely give your project more exposure in the forum as it is one way of saying here in the forum that this is my project and kindly support or invest to it if you like our project.

By creating also an announcement thread, you are giving the community the chance to know more about your project by letting them visit your whitepaper, team behind the project, roadmap and etc.

I wonder how will you be able to manage a bounty campaign without the ANN Thread, there are times when I read bounty campaigns I also read the ANN Thread just for checking of its credibility and project objective. It is also needed to attract investors and to have a community that will discuss the details of the project. It provides interaction between the projects admin and crypto-users since some group in telegram is no longer discussing some important details or due to many interactions it is hard to retrack the discussion. ANN Thread is still needed specially for start-up , just see how the established gets now and still have ANN Thread.

This forum has a very large member or community and certainly has an interest in investing in the cryptocurrency market. The new project will definitely want to introduce the project to everyone and this forum is the right tool to introduce new projects to the right community.
