Hello guys,

I've been studying technical analysis for over than 10 months right now. I know that it takes years to learn everything, but I feel like that having someone who can monitor your trades and tell you what's wrong or what's right would be much easier to catch up with everything.

How much do you think its important/good to have someone with who you can share your thoughts about the trading/market situation or who can tell you the "secrets" which you cannot see on youtube tutorials or any other books.

It is necessary and certainly needed because doing it alone or making decisions without enough knowledge and understanding about cryptocurrency would be a risk. It is important that we'll have someone to help us understand the market flow. Believe me, it helps a lot.
Yes right, if you can afford to have mentored and I'm sure you are going to pay that person that who is your personal mentor, anyway, I don't know if there is an expert of being mentor probably 30% they were helping but all in all it will depend on your own work like researching. Then if you find someone mentors that expert on a market analysis that is good but if pretending to be good well, good luck to you.

That's extremely important. The question is how experienced your mentor and how much you can trust him or her. It's perfect to have someone you know very well in this situation. Otherwise you should check twice before choose someone you're going to trust your money and well-being.

If you can afford to have a mentor why not? they can teach the things from their experience thus avoiding you for the waste of time you will possibly be doing without them but the problem lies to find a decent one who is willing to impart their knowledge, experience, and strategy to trading you are a bit lucky if you know someone personally looking from the internet takes some risk to wary.

It's very true that a mentor can monitor your studies and practices and can guide you better than doing it by yourself.
A mentor can point out the mistakes you do and can guide you the right path and strategy to learn new things.
It's not necessary that you find a person in the real world since you can find a mentor these online on forums and various channels.
Discord a good place to start where you might find groups who trade regularly and support and guide each other.
There are plenty of ways to connect with now. What we really need is to find someone whose generous enough to share all of his thoughts and idea for profit.

Decision making is one of the important thing when it comes to trading so if we have mentor menas it will be really helpful for us to be calm at the hard days but I don't think anyone will be going to hae a mentor in crypto trading unless he is trading with thousand of dollars which can give enough profits to pay the salary for the mentor too.

Mentor must be someones who is more knowledgeable and experienced than us,thats they can tel” us whats wrong and whats good thing to do,if thats what you are talking here, then i should say they are very important for our trading specially to someone like you whos newbie in this field, but always remember that its your choice in which must happen,so if things went wrong you can blame no one but yourself

It shouldn't be that much important depending on why you need one. I mean in many parts of life a mentor is a great important thing and if you have a mentor who is also a teacher than that is more important.

However, if we are talking about trading in crypto world it should not be that much important because in crypto you are in charge of yourself and there are no rules at all which makes the market a wild wild west deal. At that point you should learn from your mentor but also try to see the weakness' in his teachings and you should try to find more information and try to be better than your mentor.

It's hard to trust those we didn't know, it might not help you that much, we can learn from them then try to do sometimes in your own, the moment we try it by ourselves is the time we can be aware that we are capable too.
You don't have to know a mentor in person as he/she could as well be at the other half of the world - much appreciation for the world being a global village. What matters most is what knowledge a mentor has, the time and willingness to transfer to others without a charge.

Am yet to come across an exclusive cryptos trading community as we do with forex trade! That would have been the ideal place to run into more knowledgeable and experienced traders willing to point the way forward to newbies that hunger to learn - many are not!  At any rate, look in here, they were my starting points years back and I have come across sound traders and ideals.   https://www.forexfactory.com   http://www.trade2win.com You'll however not find the streets littered with gold!

I have a facebook messenger group before who are composing of fellow country men who are willing to share their knowledge on trading and they trade together in a group and on the same exchange. If you wanted to learn more and dont wanted to be stressed out that much, it always fun to trade in a group or with your friends. Having your mentor beside you really is helpful and will expand your ideas on how to trade better.

That's right, but you need to find someone who is really talented. But you have to pay for them. Depending on your choice, you also need to know a lot about investing so you know what to invest in. The mentor is experienced but not sure he / she is right.

It can be really helpful if there is someone can guide you, the person can give you advice that maybe not in the book, but the trading strategy and techniques of each person is different so maybe you can't just fully accept the strategy, you need to adjust the teaching by yourself, not all people are that lucky, usually mentor like that charge an expensive fee, it not necessarily having a mentor when you trade because nowadays you can learn from youtube and Internet

A mentor in trading can lead you to a shortcut in your learning process, but be careful, as each person has it`s own
trading style which suits him. A mentor should only share his knowledge and experience and to teach you how to
develop your skills in trading and not to replicate himself.

Like you rightly said, it can takes years to fully master trading, during those years, a good deal of mentoring will help you avoid costly mistakes and accelerate your learning process.Over time, you will come to develop your own strategy, test it several times until it is proven to be workable and suitable for you. That will be like your own signature trade. I personally respect Allesio Rastani as regards TAs
Actually the mentor is not too fundamental because self-taught learning can also be done in trade right ? but you right
use a mentor could to speed up your lessons and they can monitor if you make a fatal mistake and avoid big losses

If it is a trusted friends of your of course i would believe him but if it is somebody i would still doubt to him if he's being honest to me about trading all the time. When money is involve you can't just trust someone though they offer you this and that it doesn't mean they don't have any hidden agenda. Though it's your choice then you have the right to do whatever you want.

I agree with everyone who is an important marketer. They can help us analyze the market situation in a specific and accurate way. Thanks to them we will know how to invest and trade accordingly, limiting the risk and loss.

i think having a trading community is really great. a mentor is good, but it's important not to think of them as a "guru" and to have different perspectives from different traders.

in my early years, i was really active in the tradingview "bitcoin" chat---now called "cryptocurrencies". i made a lot of connections there (i still keep in touch with some) and we constantly shared trading ideas and critiqued each other's setups and analysis. this is really important because it challenges your perspective and forces you to deal with multiple possibilities. trading is all about knowing the possibilities, reacting to them efficiently, and managing risk/cutting losses when you're wrong.

it also helps you gauge sentiment: if everyone in your group is bullish, be very careful about going long! Tongue
