Basically, banks only manage money deposited by customers with a written agreement. Automatically, when a customer needs it for a purpose, it must be provided and you cannot say no, even if the customer wants their money withdrawn in large amounts and requires a series of requirements to be completed.

If you think about it, the system for saving money in the bank is too complicated even though the money we save in the bank is guaranteed. But because the process when I want to make a withdrawal is too complicated, I dare to conclude that there is no freedom to save money in the bank. Our money but not ours. We must completely prove all the data when we want to retrieve it.
I really agree with what you say, banks only manage money saved by customers and when there are other customers who want to apply for a loan at the bank they will give them money that other customers have saved at that bank and if customers who save money they want to make a withdrawal must prepare files that comply with the requirements provided by the bank.

For some people who understand this, of course they will not save large amounts of their money in the bank, but they will use the money they have for various businesses or real assets and this will also be more profitable for them.

For someone like me, I can’t save large amount of money in the bank (if I had large amount Grin). Because I already know how the bank operates and it’s impossible to unlearn it for me. So if I were to deposit a large amount, I’ll feel like I’m just giving out my money for nothing. Because the interest is almost nothing. So, maybe I’d rather hold it in crypto, and deposit a smaller amount in the bank. Or even use the money to open a business because it will give better returns than the bank.

Bank are too bad when it comes to privacy - so if you care about financial privacy, then you shouldn't consider banks as the best place to store your money. It's a good idea to invest in gold or anything that you can cash out at any time with your own rules - so you won't completely rely on the bank providing you with money whenever you want.

Thank You. Useful message for me.
Financial privacy is a necessity for me to care about.
I wouldn't say banks are too bad in terms of privacy because there are still many out there who think that saving money in banks is safe and comfortable.
I also care about an uncomplicated system of financial freedom without having a lot of rules

For others, we leave it up to them to care about financial privacy, although secretly I want them to care about it too.
Choosing to invest in gold instead of making deposits is an alternative for free space that we can exchange without having to wait and complete many administrative requirements.

Bank will always be involved in most cases - even cryptocurrency users will still have to use bank services to withdraw their fiat from trading platforms. Banks have strict rules and even you have to tell them the reason why you are withdrawing large amounts of money and where you got it from. This is of course never good - I don't want it to be like that.

That's right. In my area, some users who are active in crypto trading have to attach proof of transactions for the last three months which is requested by the local trading platform to be able to make withdrawals to fiat even though the trading platform user has completed KYC.
In short, the trading platform implemented it because in my opinion they had to comply with government regulations although I can't confirm that's their reason.

In this recent economy we have witnessed some hardships financially and many other aspects now coming to say there is no money in the bank how possible is that can you imagine saying the river has no water? We are in the new year now huge sum of money have been signed by the government for projects but in a very short time they suddenly come out to say the country is running out of funds the country needs to borrow money from other countries the money signed in your own country where are they what is the duty of the bank in your country imagine a bank giving you the maximum amount you as a the account owner can withdraw from your own account sometimes I just feel like the bank isn't a safe place any more.
Come to think of it what if someone has a very serious score to settle for example someone who has health issue and needs money urgently then you go to the bank and they tell you there is no money in the bank for now so where does the bank want people to save their money if the bank at some times can be this disappointing should we go back to the system as at the old days where you bury your money or put them in your ceiling for safety please it's no joke anymore banks should try to be reliable as to gain trust from customers because many people are not comfortable with this system

OP do you mean to say there is no cash in banks to give out to customers or there is no money in banks? It is quite impossible for me to believe that there is no money in banks.  Banks know how they manage funds put under their care, they know the percentage they can approve for loans to their customers and they also know what should be kept aside for individual and corporate withdrawals/transfers. It will be wrong on the side of the banks if they lend out everything and claim there is no money.

Again, the monetary policy of every country differs.  This policy is what the government uses to promote economic growth in their country. They do this by controlling the volume of money in circulation. The Central Bank of a particular country can give directives to the banks to reduce or increase what they give out so there will be a balance in the economy.

With your analogy, it's when it's in a drought. When all the water has evaporated and it's gone. It can happen but probably it just means there's no money physically. Mostly, banks need notification days before if you are planning to withdraw huge amounts of money so they can prepare. They usually don't keep a lot of money in the vault and they invest in other people, lending the money and they earn from that continuously.

Going on to a different system may be beneficial, it's best that you know what you are doing and make sure that you won't make mistakes because it would be costly.

Haha. Bury your money and you’d end up regretting why you didn’t put it in the bank. If people start putting their money in their houses as well, robbery will increase and you’d be scared that someone could come one day and take it all considering you don’t have the security these banks have. But I understand your say. The bank indeed is using the money and that’s how they may their money. If everyone were to go and ask for their money back, the bank can never be able to provide it unless they have to borrow from another bank. But cryptocurrency has come to our rescue. Hasn’t it?
It's very risky if they really want to store money at home, because it's true what you said from a security perspective; it's clear that they can't fulfill that; it's different if it's placed in a bank; and at the same time, there are guarantees that can't be found in other devices. But it is normal if the savings we make are used to develop the bank by lending to those in need so that there is an advantage in being able to run the wheels of work at the bank itself, and that is fine as long as what we save can be taken out at any time and used when needed. But if you want more profit than going to the bank and staying safe, yes, I agree that investing in crypto is very attractive to do besides saving in the bank, of course.Everything is returned to the individual who has the funds where they will be placed, and it is all up to him.

If we make a large withdrawal, of course we have to notify the bank first because they certainly don't provide large amounts of money, especially the withdrawals we make at certain branches, so they only provide money on certain days if there are customers who want to make a withdrawal. in large amounts, and as you said currently crypto is the safest solution for storing our assets, if we invest of course the assets we have will increase, although there are several things we have to learn so that our assets are always protected from hacking, and don't I have always kept large amounts of money at home because we have to face a lot of risks, so banks and crypto are safer places for us to use at this time.
If indeed we want to withdraw large amounts this our funds from the bank, of course we will experience difficulties if we are at a branch, but not if we are at a large branch office or head office, maybe there won't be any problems.Until now, it has been true that banks and crypto are the best places to store the assets we have, and perhaps the difference is that crypto assets will generate more profits than storing our funds in banks because crypto will pay more as long as we do it. want to have patience and be able to hold on until the crypto situation has reached its highest level. But regarding security, of course I would choose a bank; however, crypto that relies on the internet will be more easily hacked and taken over by irresponsible people who really want to drain what we have. The opposite is different if in a bank it will be safe and there will be accountability if there is misuse. But hacking is also not easy nowadays if there is no element of negligence that we do so that it can be hacked, because crypto security is also very good and reliable.

A bank doesn't equal a bank in every country. We need to distinguishes them to understand the system. There are three types of banks, commercial banks than engage in savings, commercial banks that are investment banks and federal banks. Out of those three only the central banks are government owned and can print money freely. The commercial banks can't print money, they are restricted to the loans they can take at the central bank, the savings they get from customers and the returns they make. In some countries are savings and investment banks separated, to give more security for the average saver. The bank will collect fees on their bank accounts and give out loans themselves to customers to make a profit. It's the difference between the savings rate and the loan rate that makes the return of the bank.

Lol. he should have known that it would have happened if he Bary paper money. he should've converted his money into Gold and then barry them. then they would've lasted for ages.

Basic security systems can work wonders here, but most people don't even have a single camera, or a safe at home. You can protect your money better than a bank, but you have to invest some of it in security. If people weren't so greedy they wouldn't fall victim to thefts and robberies so much.
How will robbers know that someone have that much money in his house? I think first step of security should be privacy. and keeping secret. because once robbers know that you have money. I don't think any security systesm would stop them for too long. they alwasy find their way to break in.

That's because banks have what they call fractional reserve banking and what that means is that they can operate and get your money even if they don't have money on site, they're basically writing you cheques without backing up on that with any money, that's why they do that, everything is on paper with hanks. That's why they can't afford to have a lot of people withdraw money at the same day because they either don't have the money or there's not enough to accommodate everyone for that day. It's a really bad system which is why we need bitcoin to flourish and be adopted by more people.

Basic security? Will you keep millions of dollars in your house and use Basic security to guard it? It’s not easy to secure your money like the bank secures the money. The bank secures it so much that people have to rob the bank when it’s working hours because access is impossible after that, and even if it was, they won’t even be able to access the main vault. Also, another advantage of using the bank in this case is that if anything were to happen to the money, they will take responsibility. Once you successfully deposit your money, it’s in their hands. Adding to that, if you deposit your money in the bank, you wouldn’t need to spend some of the money in security.

Banks only have money or leave a few percent of all customer savings as deposits to anticipate when customers make withdrawals during working hours or for other purposes.
I cannot clearly understand the meaning of no money in the bank that I have heard because it is impossible for the bank to leave no money, even though at a glance I understand that customer deposits in the bank are turned over to be lent to people who need various types of credit.

Basically, banks only manage money deposited by customers with a written agreement. Automatically, when a customer needs it for a purpose, it must be provided and you cannot say no, even if the customer wants their money withdrawn in large amounts and requires a series of requirements to be completed.

Using is a wrong word. They lend it and then rehypothecate, bu lending it x times to x different people. If you did that with your money that would be a fraud, but banks are above the law.

Diversifying savings is indeed a wise approach. It's a prudent financial strategy, and understanding the risks and benefits associated with different investment options is crucial. While banks provide a sense of security, exploring other sectors, such as investing in precious metals like gold or exploring cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, can offer different advantages. Each option has its own set of risks and benefits. It's great that you've found a strategy that works for you, emphasizing the importance of considering various alternatives for financial security.

To properly diversify your finances, you need to be at least financially literate and personally (and not on recommendations) study the field of activity in which you plan to invest. As for banks, you should remember that they can go bankrupt at any time or block your account under any pretext

Solvency and liquidity can run out far faster then the debts vs assets becomes a problem, thats largely why this occurs in banking especially its a danger to have money owed short term but too many long term assets.
Consider first that for a long time banks were banned from being involved with the housing mortgage business, it makes some sense to separate all the different branches of banking to stop overlap.  Banks will tend to overreach and take more risks then they should, having a particular organization or company that will only slow lend out money and take back the costs and profits to pay for the whole operation is alot safer then the banks who trade daily or even hour by hour their liabilities vs profitable assets.
A large feature of the 90's was a loosening of the banking codes held secure snce the 1920's crash led to such a prolonged damage on the economy.  We altered the law to reverse some of those protections and ever since there has been more trouble.  All of this is debatable but it comes down to the balance banks must keep to always honor their immediate debts, some say Lehman will repay all its debts eventually they were merely illiquid and overextended by a great deal in a changing market.

Basically, people are giving a loan to the bank and they do not realize that at all lol. I mean when you take some money from the bank, you pay it back with interest, right? Well when you give money to the bank, you keep your money (can withdraw any time you want) and you also get interest back from the bank as well. Why do people not realize that at all?

I mean it's clear that we are talking about something that's quite strong and profitable and yet we are not seeing that work all that easily, we should definitely consider that as an option. I believe that we are dealing with something nice, and that should not be a big trouble at all, it's really an easy subject. Putting money in the bank, is a smarter way to go, but I still would prefer bitcoin.

Some people still don't realize that the money from bank customers will be used by the bank to develop their own business in many ways and there are still many ordinary people who think that keeping money in the bank is the safest thing in their opinion. So they don't want to look for other alternatives in order to find out which other sectors are safest to save the money they collect through their own work.

In fact, currently there are quite a lot of sectors that can be used to store money safely without having to link ourselves to the bank except for transfer service bridges only. Currently, I often use the alternative of saving gold when I already have money to avoid the bank, because saving gold at this time is not bad other than keeping Bitcoin as usual.
It's true that banks utilize customer deposits to facilitate various financial activities, including lending and investments, to generate revenue for their own operations. That's how a bank as a company gain financial advantage through banking business. if they failed to generate revenue from their investment or business, there will be lack of money in the bank which is owned by custumers. that's how inflation starts. This heppened to Lehmann Brothers years ago.

Why bury money when someone doesn't save it in the bank and do you remember how previous people used money in much more productive places? You can avoid robbery when the money is placed in more productive things and it should be seen to what extent the level of effectiveness is not just about avoiding robbers. Placing money in the bank is also not necessarily 100% safe because you never know how our money will be monopolized in their system and you also cannot guarantee that when you need money they will provide it for a large number of needs.

Money can be used in much more productive places such as doing business, buying gold or investing in bitcoin, because your money will never depreciate over time in value. This productivity is considered quite important so that you don't get trapped in savings that are not more productive and result in losing the opportunity to make maximum profits.
