I just want to warn everyone here. If you are under 18 years old you are not allowed to use some of the online wallets. For example Xapo Online Wallet is off limits to you.

You can read in their ToS that: "If you are under 18 years of age, you are not authorized to use the Xapo Services, with or without registering"

My advice - stay away from any online wallet services and don't recommend it to your kids, family or friends under 18 years old.
Lol who cares about it? I mean I always say that my age is more than 21 to get into a porn site. but I am not yet 21 years old but I can go to pron site ? age can be manipulated dude

maybe faucets are best chosse for kids or if they are mature enough to discuss in this fourm they they can also earn from signature campaingns

I wonder how a kid is supposed to be mature, kids are kids they are not matured and if a kid is matured then his/her parents won't need to ask anything for him/her because after maturity kids do their things by their own.

Ya and having a kid sit there for 5hrs to earn dust that can't even buy them a gumball is a terrible parenting strategy. Try a lemonade stand that accepts bitcoins. Then post a picture/video online.

Yes, gambling are not made for kids. However bitcoin faucets are the best way, kids could earn. It is easy way to earn for them. Behind earning solving captcha and watching ads are very fun to them too.
Ads in faucet are not interesting to watch at all, especially by kids, since most of the ads just consist of bitcoin stuff. They should learn something useful rather than spending their precious time in front of computer by solving captcha.

I wouldn't really let the kids near BTC at all, it is not very good thing to do... Also teaching kids how to gamble at very early age is probably one of the worst things a parent can do.

However making him do work for real money is more practical than making him gamble. Him learning why making money is important and what it takes to earn money is one of the best way to teach a child.
Everyday children are on their computer either reading or chilling so.. Its the best time to teach them about making money.... Share some interesting things about bitcoin and he will automatically come to u asking about it ! Cheesy
What's part of bitcoin that can make kids become interested? Do you want to tell them that bitcoin transaction is anonymous so they can play gambling? Or do they want to transfer their money to someone in other place? If you saying that bitcoin can buy them everything, they still can use fiat.

My child has a multisig wallet that we set up together. He has something around 0.5 btc which is a good sum for a boy. Everything he has he earned it by doing small jobs at home.
I told him everything he needs to know and now he's already explaining others how to set up wallets.

Crazy! And I think he's already better than me...

Being better or not isn't the question here I believe, teaching your child how to manage and earn money its quite impressive. This are something they don't learn at school they got an idea how it should be. I believe there are several games already for childs one of them I play and my kids know its chopcoin, that is similar to agario soo no violence and as they got or being good they can earn easy bitcoin all days 20ksatoshis hour at faucet and there are paid rooms 10k satoshi fee.

Its a good incentive father allows the child to manage a faucet, as long the child knows and understand the system, otherwise makes no sense give something to die soon. The childs should focus into the school as will be for sure the main source of the income he may and will get, from a regular job.
Kids really have time to manage school and their games,my childs love minecraft I allow them to play as long their performance at school keeps good, as long you can control your child to focus into the school and maybe later into some other personal project for sure would be an exelent example how to motivate and how a child can start earn and manage their own money.

My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?

Like you do i would want my child to deal with bitcoins if hes old enough (hes just 2 years old right now). I will let him try the faucet first like how i started, when you begin at faucet you will value your satoshi as it is hard to earn. When he is familiar with bitcoin transfers and other transactions i would teach him how to invest in different investment sites on the net.
A good move from parents. Its really good to encourage our kids if they are really interested. Let them get more experience with many things before hand... Really will be so useful in future.

I think we should indeed have some games to let them earn the bitcoin but of course this is not so easy.
We have to start with this also some money of course.. a sort of kickstart would be awesome.

According to me kids should not indulge for bitcoin because its to early for them to know about this there are many things in life they should discover and incourage them to play outside and make inter social connection to other kids by that he can develop his skills and developments as a person, kids wont realy do bitcoins if you try to push it from them to earn maybe they just play for 1 day and forget it for the next day becauae they find it boring knowing kids many things can catch their attention rather staying boring environment
Exactly, there is a timing for nurturing our kids and at a young age it is very dangerous to inject information that would not be useful for them. There is a right time for everything and that would be when they will become adult.
yeah if they are interested they can play some games here,  once they grow up they can earn. this is their time to study, learn and play.

Right, because not all of it can be obtained and carried out by all children. Because each child activity is extremely dense in terms of school and the school's task will be loaded. How is quite right to do but it also takes quite a long time

Pretty much this is so true!  They are spending their whole time in front of either computer or their gadget.  Rather than spending their time wasting 100% of it on things not valuable.  You can at least take 20% or 30% of it exposing them to Bitcoin.  If you have problem with this, how about young kids being exposed to Robotics  or other technology?  They even have tournament about it too
Take it from someone who has a friend who you can consider a kid, they usually come to a point of boredom if they repeatedly just go on and sit infront of their computers. That's probably the perfect opportunity to introduce bitcoin and make him interested in it.

How old are they?  If you're kid's under 15 years old. It's better to focus their school. Because it is too early to think that. Don't teach your kids if they are not adults. Because it is possible to stop their school. To make a money. You can guide your kids to focus their studies. And someday if we can enter a bitcoin. He is the better manage their account.
And your kids is adult. You can teach him to earn a lot of money.
Spamming and repeating your comment is not cool bro, dont make mods here ban you.

I quote this for you and those whom too lazy to read the whole thread
10 yeard old. And yes i know they have to study.. but since they have free time and can "play" games [i said which] or watch LOADS of youtube on the side - they could also make some "internet money" and possibly understand how it works

I'm sure you started faucet in past because you didnt know how to earn bitcoin, but since there are better ways to earn it, why do you still make them to do faucet?

Kids can earn them on all kind of ways, the only thing I doubt about is the fact that you need to focus ourselves on a specific age.
Kids that are too young will never be intrested into the bitcoin for sure.

Not true. Most kids are willing to do house hold chores for a bit of pocket money, especially if they come from a poorer family and don't have an allowance. Needless to say though, a kid should be focusing on bettering their future. This doesn't always mean focusing on school, but quite often this is the easiest route.
