You bought coins at the worst time we are all waiting for segwit and due that many exchanges have disabled to make any deposits or withdrawals from their wallet unless and until this segwit doesn't happen properly. You may see you bitcoins after 2nd of august

Yeah its true. As many advises us to restrain from deposits and withdrawals before, during and after the activation as our coins may be lost in the system. It has no assurance that it can be back to us or not. Well I hope your coins can be back to your wallet after the activation.
He sends on the 30th so can be able to transact and now he has received his bitcoin, I think it's because of the problems that exist in the coinbase itself, they say there is a transaction delay

Today I sent a payment from the purse blockchain.info. The transaction was confirmed very quickly 2-3 hours. The commission established an average.

I'm new to this but I think its working.  I received an email from Coinbase saying I sent BTC to the wallet address.  Coinbase now shows a transaction ID and that 1/6 confirmations are complete.  Poloniex shows the deposit of the correct amount of BTC and it says "COMPLETE" in green.  I only have 1 confirmation so I dont know how Poloniex shows its complete.  Should I sit back and do nothing until all 6 confirmations are complete or can I list them on the exchange?  I want to buy altcoins with the BTC.

However, you cannot see the tx id below your transaction of btc wallet. It will take the 1 or even more to complete the transaction. This issue was ongoing from the July 26th onwards.
Please wait till August 1st to send any bitcoins from the Coinbase wallet. They do not Bitcoin cash option also like blockchain.

It took 15 hours for me to send from Coinbase to Poloniex wallet.  The BTC is now there and I can trade on it.

Good thing you received it already though it took hours for you to received it, sometimes blockchain can be very traffic specially when most of the people are having their transaction.

Usually it takes thirty minutes or sometimes an hour. The bitcoin transaction confirmation used to take long as 24 hours in the past but then the problem was fixed, so it hardly takes thirty minutes to confirmation.
One of the common reasons for late transaction confirmation is the transition fee if you pay high fee your transaction is on priority and if low then it is less prioritize so it takes long. The other reason could be the fork issue going on.

I bought some BTC on Coinbase last night and had it sent to Poloniex.  I know the BTC wallet address was accurate.  Its still pending 11 hours later and doesn't show up in the Poloniex deposit/withdrawal history.  Any clue on how long BTC transactions are taking?

First thing, I'm making it bold purposely, You shouldn't be doing any transaction until August 1st passes on and we get the green signal of transactions. That was ridiculous decision to take and also you are sending the money to exchanger, that is even stupid thing to do in this weekend.

See man, you might loose the funds in this period of time. There will delay in the transaction and why is all written on the dashboard of coinbase in orange highlighter if you could see it or have a time reading around the site.

Yeah same here. Waiting for 7 hours and still 0 confirmation. I wanted to empty my wallet today before the August and didn't want to do it at the last moment on July 31. I hope to get it fast. I am watching some porn here and there but I am bored. I wanted to buy those fucking shoes today to get a discount, it sucks

LMAO, great response.  You are going to have to watch a lot of porn to keep you busy as some are reporting 34+ hours of delay.   Shocked

Coinbase will try to retain whatever amount of bitcoin they can from their users to get free BCC out of it during network split on 1st august. Also they might use very low fee during next few days to keep those withdrawal pending because you can get BCC only for confirmed BTC balances. I am not using coinbase right now and will not at any point in future too, they are just another paypal.

That's unusual for Coinbase, in my experience.  They're usually
pretty quick with the outgoing transfers.   If it says 0 confirmations,
you're OK though.   You just have to wait, it'll be on the blockchain
eventually.   Don't fret,  your money isn't lost, it's just stuck.  And
this is still better than what was happening earlier in the year.  11
hours is nothing compared to 72 hours or more.

The reason Coinbase is so slow at the moment is because of the upcoming fork. Everyone is transacting right now, which congests the network. They released a statement saying all transactions will be processed within 24 hours, so we will just have to wait and see.
Some are reporting 15/16 hour wait times and longer, so I don't think they are holding up to this promise, but in any case be aware that this is happening and there is no reason to panic.

I am observing Coinbase from quite some time now and they have lots of delay in the BTC and ETH chains. I was a regular user of coinbase from long time but recently shifted towards a wallet of my choice and just using it for the exchange now.

You need not worry about that. Coinbase is working on backlog so transactions are delayed. I tried it two-three days ago and encountered similar problem. Usually Coinbase generate transaction immediately and one can track on explorer but currently it is taking time to initate. My transaction took 13 hours to complete.

How long it takes depends on the fee you paid but generally with a sufficient fee it should show up on poloniex within an hour.

Coinbase doesn't allow to choose random fees. It has one fee for all transactions irrespective of size and user.

Its on coinbase fault on which they dont still send those bitcoins which it wont really show up on the address on your poloniex. I do have recent transaction with coinbase transfer which i do make a withdrawal and for how many hours i do still see pending state which means they are still holding such transaction,it took for almost 12 hours or 15 hours but i didnt still bother since coinbase would really sent out those bitcoins and luckily the transaction went through and i do receive the bitcoin which i do request. Just have patience pal.

Sometimes its take much time to be the transaction will process. That's normal sir that its pending in 11 hours because I tried poloniex also. There some times that they pending your bitcoin. If you can cancel it, please cancel it then try to do it again but if you cannot cancel, may be you should wait upto 10 days and past a ticket to them. I say that because I experienced that already.
