I think it will still depend on the market, so i think it will last from 1 to 2 months because of investing to other ICO. With using the bitcoin the marketcap will gradually decrease and i think this will be the perfect time to buy also the bitcoin as an long term investment. Just an opinion unlike investing to banks which is much lower the profit than in bitcoin.

A legendary Bitcoin trader, according to Coin Telegraph, called "masterluc" has predicted that Bitcoin will reach $15,000 by the end of this year and will reach the price of $40,000 to $100,000 by the end of this bull run. 2019 is his target year of when it ends.

He supposedly made the correct prediction on the 2013 pump and the crash. Do you believe he is also correct now?

I definitely consider this as an option. No guarantee, but possible I think... We just start to become mainstream...
Even although I don´t think he is a hero because of this 2013 prediction. I guess nearly every outcome by the end of 2017 is covered by anybody´s prediction Wink

nobody could predict the 2013 pump's top because it was a fake pump not a rally. this here is not a pump anymore today. it is a rally. if someone predicted 2013 then he made a lucky guess and this time by extension he is trying to do the same.

we currently have the October 2x drama on the way and that can decide the fate of bitcoin for this year depending on which way it will go. and because it has a large miner support it will be different than BCC.

Depends many factors in next time, if the momentum at now can continue until next few years, Bitcoin price reach to this target is possible. Because the demand always high than supply on market.

Why does everyone always say this the same as in 2013? This is not the same as the 2013 event! But I will not fuss about it. I prefer to enjoy the profits at current prices, so I've sold half of it and held some for next "laps".

That is for safety reasons dude. If bitcoin is spend continuously in exchange and other online sites, it direct or buy by some set of people and destroy it. I personally do not want that to happen.
Whenever price hold it for 6 months, market cannot manage it without proper supply in the marketplace then price will stable in some range.
Many people are selling out their bitcoins because it is $4000 now. But I think it is pretty soon. I am aware of the instability in bitcoins prices but the point is what the problem is if the prices tend to rise up more than demolishing.

It should be actually a good new to all bitcoin holders. Still, everyone's own free choice! Nobody is going to destroy bitcoins anyways.

This is just normal and I think we already set a new mental barrier for traders, that is $4000. We have seen a price correction the last 24 hours from a high of $4500 to $4100. But this is a healthy price correction so that new faces can enter into the ecosystem bringing fresh influx of cash. Let us see where and how it will pan out this time and see if you can go $4500 again.

Yes, Bitcoin Prices will continue to rise until the year 2020. Moreover, the increasing interest of the world community to Bitcoin. So keep your BTC amount and wait until 2020. Do not forget to keep both your account from a naughty hacker.
I like to see a periodically rise in the price of bitcoin rather than very big rally, because when there is a big rally and sharp increase in price we would see a sharp correction, which i am not really interested to see,but as time goes the price of bitcoin will rise and i could not imagine what the price would be when it comes to the next halving.

The next halving in around two years time will be another milestone for bitcoin. Price could potential grow by folds maybe reaching $10000. I agree, we don't want the price of bitcoin rose in just few days and thinking that it is a bubble that will burst anytime soon. But rather a slow but steady phase as this rally makes me cautious. But I'm not worried because I know that bitcoin would not experience a major crash right now because we have yet to arrived into Segwit actual activation.

indeed the price of the bitcoin is increasing and it will continue to increase for long time nothing can stop its journey as 2016 was the best year for bitcoin and so does the 2017 the price has increased from 100$ to 1400$ it is a he difference mate it’s not a joke the price of the bitcoin Is increasing internationally a lot of countries are accepting bitcoin the value and price is also keep on going high every day.
i think no one know about it. but we can only analyze about it. i think most of the people are thinking that bitcoin will continue to increase through out the year and it is expected that the price of bitcoin will very soon reach to 5000$, to me i am sure about thee price of bitcoin that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin is expected that it will reach to 7000$ and still will continue increasing after that, therefore holding bitcoin in present time will be a wise decision.

I think this bullish situation still can continue, 2017 is a very good year for bitcoin the bullish is very high, 2018 the price will still continue to rise and can become a new record for bitcoin, after that the bullish will be slower, the price will still rise but in a slower movement
All your talk is good except the thing you said “bullish slow”, it will never going to happen at least in next 3 years, because it’s just start for the bitcoin and this bullish behavior end at least after 3 years and after then it will move slowly, I’m well reader of graphs and that is what I have been thinking since this sudden increase starts.

I'm personally hoping it will go down again soon so I can pick some more up.  $4100 is too high for me right now so I'll be waiting.  I'm guessing by the end of August it will have peaked and be ready for a correction.
But that would be beneficial if you were holding a lot of bitcoin in your wallet. I think it will rise very fast next year. If you now spend money to invest then you may be rich quick. We can see that from the present.

Bitcoin will definitely touch $6k this year. The demand was already high. But all that FUD and uncertainly in the month of July lead to a dip. But acceptance is increasing and hence the investors were only waiting for August and with Segwit being locked in there is another positive wave in community. Now the price will be on uptrend with some short term ups and downs.

Your statement is pretty optimistic, bitcoin price is in long term uptrend with occasional falls I need to correct you, and since the beginning of the year price is x3 higher, that is a good argument.
I think this uptrend will stop in one moment, price is rising for too long and we will see correction soon. Bullish trend need to make a pause in one moment, but that is only my prediction. Bitcoin price surprised us all many times, and for making future predictions we need to think outside the box. Bitcoin price will definitely go very high, what is hard for me to predict is whit which tempo price will go up, and how many dips we will see until we make it to the top. Did I say top, will anyone here dare to guess where is bitcoin top?

Sold at $4400 and bought back at $4100 and the damn price still falling.

Predicting something isn't an exact science, so one needs to go with the flow. Regretting your own prediction is pointless.

There is no predicted or right span of time for bitcoin for being bullish because it is all about the demand of the people that bitcoin receiving in the market but bitcoin is likely to become bullish in the long run so i think there is nothing to worry about for the possible pull back because those will become a temporary for the price but it will bounce back again and become more stable and stronger.

Now... this year 2017 is a reflection of 2013...  Bitcoin prices rose significantly along with increased adoption and problem-solving. But whether Bitcoin prices can still rise in 2018 later? While the price correction of the price spike has not occurred at all. So what do you think guys?
There is no exact time for how long the bitcoin lasts. But I think bitcoin will always be portable and of high interest because it brings certain benefits to many people. They see it as their source of life.
yes that is right to say that there is no such exact time to know about that bitcoin will continue bullish trend for a long time. i am sure bitcoin price will continue increasing for a long time. therefore tome i think that those people who will buy bitcoin right now they will surely get good profit after some time.

There is no way to say how long bitcoin will keep growing.
I think it has to do something with convincing new people to join the bitcoin community.
But nobody can tell you how many people of the world are already dealing with bitcoin, or how high the growth rates of new members are.
When you look around here you will often see the assumption bitcoin will increase now at least for a few years.
But then again, you have to keep in mind that we are on a bitcoin board. People write often what they wish to come true.

What about after 2020? The bitcoin will go down? I don't think so.

For this year, until we get $5,000, the market will likely to be bullish for bitcoin.
