Nobody knows when the mempool will be less congested. Better do not deposit bitcoin for now on betting sites, you need to also consider how high the withdrawal fee can be on custodial platforms. There are altcoins that you can use instead for now.
You make payment or bet in Casino platform, the thing is that since we are experiencing high fees in bitcoin that doesn't mean that we most withdraw with bitcoin, some altcoins has low withdrawing fees that's more better than bitcoin which you can withdraw with, I could remember during the time my rank was member and I participated in betnomi signatures campaign and fee to withdraw our payment was high in bitcoin and i switch to litecoin and fee was lower than bitcoin fees and I was alright, cool with it, except in such Casino platform its only one option is given and the option is bitcoin and its compulsory that you most withdraw with bitcoin then I will advice people to hold done until high fees reduces.

I guess all I can advise you is don't make penny bets if you don't have the funds in the casino for them. You don't want to be paying crazy amounts in fees that will wipe away penny winnings.

My betting range is actually between $20 and $100 per bet, so a $20 transaction fee is quite high for me. Even though I still have some funds in my bookie account, I'm afraid that I won't be able to top up once it's all wiped out

20 dollar isn't bo small money in ny local currency and now one has to pay 3 dollar even for no priority and 3 dollar is over 2 thousand naira in ny local currency.
YEAH, that's why no way I'll gamble now.

Nobody knows when the mempool will be less congested.
I hope the high transaction fees will not last a month though, as it's trouble now for small-time bettors like me.

As a result, if you are desperate to bet, use the medium priority and risk having your transaction delayed for some time, or if you can afford the high priority transaction fee, you are good to go.

The medium priority transaction fee is still high, as it's only slightly less than the high priority fee with just over a dollar difference.

I haven't read the news yet, but it's been several days since the transaction fee has been very high. I checked on https://mempool.emzy.de/ and this is what I see now.

As a gambler, I'm a bit worried if this trend will continue because I have some fraction of bitcoin that I'd like to use for gambling, especially for the NBA playoffs. So for my fellow gamblers, or those who really need to transact with their bitcoin, what are the best things to do now in order to save from fees and avoid having our transactions stay unconfirmed for too long?

It seems that the Hype around Ordinal is congesting the network and we can see that it's going to take a lot of time until fees go down. I think we all know it, Ordinal is the hot thing this year and traders, investors, and even scammers are taking advantage of this. There's a post made by @pooyah87 which tells how scams are increasing in numbers, which results into flooding the network and increasing the fees.

It's a really rough situation right now without the knowledge of when this is going to end.

If the amount in your casino is you can afford to lose then just stay it there and use it for gambling since there’s a high chance that this high transaction fee shenanigans will continue for a month of more due to the bullshit ordinals that being use by degen to attached picture on blocks.

I have some balance too on my casino that I’m using for my casual bets. I don’t mind leaving it there so that I will still have funds available when my gambling crave kicks in. You’ll never when you will have an urge to game and the transaction might be more expensive when the time comes.

Withdraw immediately if needed badly your funds.

I understand how you feel right now, but mempool has been congested for a few weeks now, and no one can predict when it will be less congested, as others have stated. As a result, if you are desperate to bet, use the medium priority and risk having your transaction delayed for some time, or if you can afford the high priority transaction fee, you are good to go.

So you can't predict the day the congestion in the network will reduce the best thing to do right now is to use stable coin of a network with low gas fee like Binance or polygon  network.
It's not advisable to withdraw now, unless you're ready to wait or want to spend large amount of your coin in gas fee.

Well I do gamble but just like you I use small fraction of bitcoin to carry out my staking on games, any time I win and the returns are quite considerable and tangible I with draw my earnings.

While withdrawing my earnings I try as much as possible to keep some fraction of bitcoin for future staking, firstly you never can tell the time you would see a good game to bet on (before you can send you funds to the gambling site may be too late) and also doing that can save you the headaches of transactions fees

But be guarded never leave much funds on the gambling site and always ensure to use legit and respected gambling sites.

For now all you simply have to do is use the high priority option if you do feel your transaction is very urgent and you can't wait for the  network.
I've noticed is abnormalities since last week and until now we're still suffering  this shit which is very wrong and I thought it was just some minor irregularities and I was hoping it gets fixed before it gets noticed but unfortunately tye reverve is now the case as it is becoming so obvious and it seems no one is doing anything about it but rather just relaying on hopes and fate which I'm sure would save us.
