Please I like to read the personal experience of some traders here, how long did it take you to learn to trade profitably...
The first thing you should know is that the learning process for trading differs for everyone. It's not cast in stone. Don't be anxious for nothing when you see others who've perfected the mastery (near mastery, actually) of it before you. Even those you see as profitable traders still continue to learn. Every trader wants to be better each time they open their devices. The trader who makes $1 on a trade wants to learn how to increase it to $5 and so on. What makes the difference between pro-traders and others is the leverage they use and succeed at it. It's not as if they don't record losses too.

Quote
...and what was the hardest thing to learn?
Trading is more of psychology than the skills itself. Don't get me wrong, both are important. You need both to succeed but if you've the skills and your emotions are in tatters, then you aren't going to make headway. Put your emotions in check while trading. When winning or losing; maintain the same approach and outlook. Don't get excited when you've a winning trade and don't get angry when you've a losing trade. Both have lessons they teach.

There is no fixed time limit to learn trading it is up to you. We have posted here that they are aware of fat trading and we know what trading is all about. There is no significant time limit but some low time will be required to understand the candle parts. The more memory you have, the less time it will take you to learn. Also it depends on your practice, the more you practice the more you will become proficient at this. Trading education on your desire. There is no time limit for your education here.

How long to learn trading might be very dependent on if the learner has a slow or faster retention memory. What's important to note is the basics of trading and its terms. The trading part of it comes after one has retained enough knowledge and probably has discussed the issue with an expert trader.
A  trading class might be useful but I can bet that the tutors will dwell on topics just to elongate the classes and have more money. YouTube has made things easy a bit, but if one does not have a guide many of the times, the learning curve will be longer than expected.

I spoke to a tutor who teaches trading, and he said for his lectures, he teaches for an extended period of nine months for anyone who wants to learn trading from him. Please I like to read the personal experience of some traders here, how long did it take you to learn to trade profitably, and what was the hardest thing to learn? did it take you weeks, months or years? Do you think that trading can be learnt well in a short time like three weeks for a quick trader? Can someone who is a proffesional trader just go straight to the point pointing out what is needed to make a successful trader to a newbie to learn quickly?
It depends on your involvement and how curious you are in learning trading, mostly people learn trading do learn both manually and with YouTube tutorial to perfect the lectures of trading, in a normal circumstances, trading have to do with strategies and step by step, you have to understand the system of trading, so before you become perfect in trading you experienced loses and those loss will make you to pick up correction, so it does not matter how long you learn trading before you can become perfect, what matters in trading is consistent practicing of trading and mistakes involved during your trade, because any mistake that occurs during trading as a trader you have take note of them so that it will not repeat again

To learn how to trade, you must first of all get your nerves in order. Hasty decisions often lead to failure. You need to weigh everything very carefully and control yourself. It is also necessary to study a lot of trading strategies, their pros and cons. And what about trading tools? They also need to be mastered

You can learn about price action, chart, indicators within a few days but this will not be sufficient to make you profitable in your trading. Experience is one of the crucial factors that matters most. Someone might have great knowledge about every thing related to trading but have failed to make any profit from the market. If you want to start trading then gain basic knowledge about trading first and start with a small amount. You will gain more knowledge and experience along the way.

That tutor you are talking about seems like a salesman to me. If he is that good at trading then why does he need to teach others and charge money for it? If he is motivated to spread his knowledge to others then why don't he open a YouTube channel and share his experience with others? I try to stay ten steps away from this type of salesman.

I believe I'm in the capacity to advise you based on my vast experience in trading, and I must tell you that cases differ as it partly depends on the learner and the tutor/resources at the disposal of the learner.

I learned trading all by myself, which made it longer as I gathered theoretical resources and read them for a whole year even before I began the practical training process. For the practical, it took forever as I lost my money for years until I discovered that the trading strategies which traders are focused upon are not even the main thing to bother about.

In a nutshell, it depends on your ability to discover a working system, and it depends on the path you follow. You might learn everything about trading iin just a week, but the practical aspect that gives experience takes time and it's great, you can't rush things. Do not put your mind on the fast track, just learn and you will improve over time.

For these, I can't call a specific duration, but expect a challenging path.

In 1998, I found an ad about FX trading. I was a 1st-year student in international relations, my friend was a 1st-year student in economics. I asked him what he knew about forex. He answered that a trader must learn for 4 years, because a standard market cycle lasts 4 years. If you spend 4 years for learning, you can pass almost everything that may happen.

Of course, my friend was just a 1st-year student. But I still think his answer was wise. For my first years, I did only paper trades. Without doubt, this decision helped me to avoid many losses.

Learning to trade is a never-ending process, as any trader will tell you. Even those who have been trading for years and making money on it can lose huge amounts of money because the market may change. Sometimes a strategy that has worked for many years may need adjustment. First of all, you should understand that trading is a very difficult job that will require a lot of time and other qualities from you without which you cannot become successful.

For everyone, the learning time will be individual, some will start earning money earlier, while others will never start doing this. Everyone cannot be successful traders, this is how the market is structured.

3- 6 months for learning trading may just the theoretical aspects of it. You cannot learn anything worthwhile in 3-6months although it varies from one person to another person. An average of the number of years it will take for a smart person is one and half years and it is for some one who is laser focused , drink and eat market majority of the time. A decent timeframe for average person is 3 to 5 years.

You can learn just little knowledge about trading in a single month but your knowledge cannot complete because market is not composed of a single chapter that you will learn in a single month. There are lots of other elements too among which some are originated while others are still originating, creation of newly developed coins can also force you to learn new things as every coin is not consist of same characteristics.

Although nothing is impossible but trading requires your much timing to learn and if you learn all the things then still you will be a learner as even an expert are enhancing their profit through continuously learning. If you fail to get profit in a single try then it does not means that your knowledge is zero because it is possible that expert will loss money as trading is a technique in which sometimes you will loss and other time you will win reward.

Perhaps, he is right. Because what is his goal is to make someone become a pro trader, not just a casual trader. Learning the basis would just take several days but if we are molding someone to become an expert, honestly, even analyzing the charts seems it take a longer time. That is why trading is not for impatient people, not those who want to learn in days, but this is for those who are willing to spend months studying the market, doing research, and are willing to hear feedback and advice.

Since each person's entry into this tutorial on cryptocurrency trading will determine how that works. It depends on you, to put it briefly. I was the sort who was familiar with employing trading techniques like support and resistance and fibonacci before I had a solid understanding of anything. Before I truly comprehended that, it took me a long time.

Although I have heard it discussed before, I haven't fully grasped its true significance. It is extremely difficult to learn how to trade; you can't really become an expert in only a few weeks. He was merely speculating throughout the additional years it took for him to truly understand.

Duration of learning is highly subjective and it is dependent on the following factors;
  • Ability of the learner
  • Ability of the teacher
  • The relationship between the teacher and the learner
In a nutshell, what takes Mr. Boob two weeks to learn might take Mr. John two months to learn depending on the learning style and compression ability. However, it is cool to understand that learning never ends, few weeks can get you going in trading but not enough to become a pro.

Learning how to trade will take some weeks. But learning how to use trading to make profit can take months or a year or more...

And in the meantime, you lose money.  Wouldn't it be better to use that money in doing DCA Bitcoin and the time and energy you use in trading in other activities that bring you an income and don't have a money loss rate higher than 95%? I'm amazed at how much people's heads are eaten up with trading.

I believe that courses that offers you to learn trading only teaches you stuff that you need as basics, and to understand the risk and what trading really is, not how to make profits and other things that could help you to make a quick leap to your trading career.

Experience is needed to make profits in trading, so rushing things up won't do any good. You need to do some trial and error to sort things out about what you have learned in the course you took for you to figure out what you need in your trading career.

If you want to become a professional trader then you need to spend a lot of time in this. How many days can you learn trading? It is impossible to say. Because the duration will depend on your helper (teacher) and you. Because the easier it is and the faster you can master everything, the less time you will need to learn.

To make yourself a successful trader, you have to move forward slowly. So that nothing about trading gets out of hand.

It also depends on the person if you ask how long it takes to become an expert trader. Because people's grasping power is different, some are fast, some are slow, but what is certain is that they learn trading quickly or slowly, depending on what we do and what we learn. The really important point in my opinion is the mental formation phase, learn theory and practice consistently, so that new habits are formed, and ultimately a trader's mentality is formed.

The point is you have to enjoy the process, step by step, day by day, moment by moment. We have to feel and enjoy everything so that discipline, commitment and consistency can all be formed and in the end our dreams will come true, and make us Professional Traders/Professional Analysts.

In terms of how long it takes them to master everything in the trading world, I think it's more appropriate and reasonable to say it depends on each person's own abilities. As we know that there are some who are fast in understanding lessons and there are also some who have difficulty understanding something they are learning, of course this is a fairly clear and visible difference. For me personally, trading is a profession that is quite difficult to explore, there are so many things that we have to learn there, not only about material but also by learning a lot of self-control, especially in mental and psychological terms which are really needed.

It doesn't matter if you are one of those who find it difficult to understand a lesson, there is no rule that tells you to quickly master everything, because it's useless if you force yourself to trade but on the other hand your knowledge is still small or immature, it will only waste your money. So the point is how long you have to learn it doesn't really matter, it's better to slowly but really learn with strong intentions and never give up, it's better because I'm sure you want satisfying results rather than experiencing a lot of losses due to lack of knowledge. Build the best plan, keep learning and practicing and never give up in order to achieve success and consistent results.
