Well, remember with Forex market, it have 1000-2000 billion dollar volume every day, but the crypto market just have market caps $100 billion+, not as good as Forex market although the potential of crypto market very large.

Correct this is why when I see some wild predictions that each bitcoin is going to have a value of 100k or something like that, sometimes I think it is not going to be possible, however the potential to grow is there that is why everyone must have some bitcoins ready in case those wild predictions become a reality.

What 100K? Are you have knowledge are not! now it is $4k above? So i would say that better to go live market you will know the current price. I'm sorry to say that brother you should need some knowledge according to that because if you having knowledge then you will have best option to reply. Your prediction was right, bitcoin is going to be unstoppable in the next week and months, segwit is still not locked in but unless the miners did some crazy move then it is almost a guarantee that segwit is going to lock in and with it the fate of bitcoin has changed and in my opinion it will improve the chances of reaching massive adoption.

We just have to wait any longer if you are still not that satisfied with the current price. But I'm in the middle of selling now or holding it, as I remembered that there's a challenge and promise came from McAfee.

On August 8, Segwit is projected to lock in. That is Tuesday. Very probably a first strong upmove of the "Segwit run" will come some time before that event, because of the well known "buy the rumours, sell the news" pattern.

There may be resistance on the old all time high, but I think it will be broken relatively fast (e.g. at the second or third "try"). The current upward trend seems sustainable: it is sharp, but much less so than the BIP91 spike that was pure FOMO.

Completely agreed. When segwit gets locked in later this month it will just mean that the price will only go even higher. I think that when this does happen, $3000 is just an arbitrary number. Price can definitely go even higher than that without any problems at all.

Right now when bitcoin cash goes down, bitcoin seems to go up still. But i believe that this correlation will soon be ending as bitcoin cash becomes more known as an altcoin than a legitimate fork of bitcoin.

If i was to give an estimate of when $3000 will be achieved, i'd say it'll probably be anywhere between december this year and march next year.

I believe it won't take very long to reach $3000. Bitcoin had mad a successful transition even thought there is fork happened. But as I see the market bitcoin is starting to get bullish again. Probably we can se $3000 Bitcoin before the end of August and several record breaking ATH afterward.

Expecting to see on all exchanges price over 3000 but after this with BCC comes pass. Think that made some impact on moving price of bitcoin up and that all are waiting to sell bitcoin cash for as much as possible. Then expect to see price of bitcoin going up much more then 3000. Consider little above 3000 to be stable price after all this and how long will it last that will depend mainly from how much noise will bitcoin cash make.

From new investor, other market, from anywhere on the world's. Why you don't ask the market caps of Forex market? As per my understanding, the Forex market have volume 1600 billion "every day", and the volume of crypto just 1-2 billion when have more volatility!

The achievement of a new all time high will depend on how the SegWit activation will be. If the activation went well and smooth then we will be expecting an ATH within the month of August this year. This is very much probable because we are just about 300 USD away from 3000 USD mark (as of now). Despite of what will happen, in one way or another, we will see bitcoin goes over 3000 USD no matter what.

I think it is a given that we are going to break the 3000 mark the issue is predicting how high bitcoin will go that is the real problem, I do not have a clear answer for that but I will not be surprised if the price of bitcoin went up as far as 4000 before suffering a correction.

Yes, there more likely than not will be several opportunities for buying. Even if we cross the $3k mark, I don't think we will stay there for ever. There will be some retraces at which bargain hunters can step in.

Sure we will go over 3k but I dont think we will momentary cross after August 1st. Think that after some time this mean on month or two we will see crossing it, and for anyone this can be opportunity to buy. We all are expecting for price to go over 3k and much higher so if opportunity arrives for it it need to be used wisely and with extreme caution. Reason is that it may end with first price drop and then with rise.
