This time is much different.

You know it.  You are just afraid to admit it.

We are approaching oversold on 4hr, but the price barely moved.  $100 down days are gone and you know it.

Have you noticed it is much harder to make a good profit shorting the lower we go.  It should tell you something.

Look at what is happening not what you want the market to do.

It´s not about 100$ moves anymore it´s about how much it moves percentage. 100$ move@1000$ is nowadays a 40$ move@400$. Mind-blowing?

I keep hearing this

OMG THEY'VE KILLED FRITZ!!!

(or if you're younger, "Kenny")

every few days...

but still see all sorts of businesses accommodating btc, changing policy to accept it, all kinds of btc buzz about it, and because of it, btc still has enormous room to escalate in value...so it's not dead.

It might tank down a bit but it's not flatlining and it's never flatlined and because it solves the problems for people that it solved, it's not going to flatline.

Come back in a decade and then holler btc is dead. It could be by then but now? No way...it's got a good half dozen year shelf life, and even then some I'd wager.

The commercial internet for the general public was rolled out about the early 90s and took a good 5 years for it to kinda catch on. But by 2k, even in spite of the Y2K COMPUTERS ARE EVIL IT'S GAME OVER protests, not only was it not dead, it didn't do shit but grow and flourish. Five years later, things like Twitter, Facebook, smart phones, and tablets hit and it's still going strong.

Btc had its initial 5 years of it just being introduced to the public and early adopters. THIS marks the next 5 year period where new products hit the market that make btc a household name...this is bitcoin's y2k...it's going UP from here, after this y2k panic crap settles down.

So you think that this time is the End Times for btc, is that what your graph is suggesting - that THIS downturn is it forever and BTC is dead, move along, nothing to see here folks done?

I've noticed this a lot - even though I am not an expert and probably at elementary school level on markets of any sort of understanding there but all through this forum the ones shouting "bitcoin is dead" do this every.single.time there's a down turn as if that downturn is the end of it, wrap it up, let's all go home, defunct...but in spite of this, neither dump their coin nor actually pack it up and go home...they've all been here for what 2 or 3 years doing this same death knell song and dance every time there's a drop.

I mean if you can't figure out long term value and see btc has a long future ahead of it, and that up and down is dynamic and ONGOING, you are delusional.

It´s somehow a funny coincidence that it matches with this one:

I hope everyone has an exit or Plan B if we should go down below 100$. It is not unpossible,it becomes even more and more likely if China should be really out of the game.
Do you have a Plan B , think about it?

Here is an analyis from a neutral well schooled mind.

Genuinely interested, what do people think will happen to the price in the next 3 months if the Chinese news is real?
I believe that the two rallies in 2013 were caused by the opening of the Chinese market, which created huge demand for BTC and sucked coins out of the Western markets.  If the ban is real (I am not convinced yet) most of the coins in the Chinese exchange accounts may be moved to the non-Chinese exchanges.  So I think this may well happen:

The black line is an exponential fitted by eyeball in log scale to the Bitstamp prices before April 2013.

But I think this it is just a possibility, I would not bet on it.  It is hard to guess what the big holders and investors will do: whether they will buy all the Chinese bitcoins, or dump those they already have.

Hey, if you´re interested in cryptocurrencies you should check out J.P.Morgan coin which will be launched soon.
It looks very promising.

New option added. -100$
Legit TA from WALL STREET Experts:

CNBC Video

"It hasn´t completly collapsed yet"

Ross sees Bitcoin trading in a descending triangle with a base at the $500 level. Given that its peak was around $1,100, the triangle would project a downside of equal magnitude in the opposite direction. In this case, that would be negative $100.

"Now, that doesn't really make sense," says Ross. "But, given the recent history – given the MtGox scandal – I could see this thing at negative. It could actually cost you money to own this thing at the end of the day. It could just disappear that quickly."

I think that in a few weeks, when the dust has settled, we will see a months long period of stability +-<10%

to remind you:

There is no investor in Bitcoin,
The market is oversaturated with Bitcoin
every day is generated about 4000 new bitcoin which have nobody to pay
People are becoming aware of what is Bitcoin, and speculation does not work anymore.
Case MtGox killed all hope in Bitcoin
The previous price jumps have been artificially, by MtGox and any mining hardware manufacturer.
The mining factor is too small for any serious action, and time is to quit the game (3.5 cents/Gh an 24h)
A major player China 15 th april 2014 out from game.

An extremely biased poll, which does not reflect reality as the options are limited. I really find it curious that you haven't received a ban yet Fonzie after all your trolling and intimidating. You want to have a pessimistic view on Bitcoin? Fine, but don't start manipulating people because of it. You are only posting this because of your own selfish reasons, i. e. the desire to buy back lower.

You of course expect a fall so you can get hundredfold returns. Shall I let you in on a secret? Bitcoin will highly unlikely ever boom again if it falls back to double digits. You can dream on all you want about it, but you won't get rich.

Better start begging for coins again, my dear house troll.

I have a pessimistic view, yes. But at least i don´t insult anyone personally like most of you bulls do all the time(not you).
I also don´t plan to buy back lower. I will leave the market after i have closed my shorts.

Lie. You aren't going anywhere.  If the price goes lower it will become more volatile %wise and thus more profitable to trade. Plus, you have nothing better to do.

I think that in a few weeks, when the dust has settled, we will see a months long period of stability +-<10%

Oh, I see. So if your 6+ month prediction comes true exactly like you predict it you will quit, until it changes. Dude, shut up with this crap. A year from now you'll still be doing drugs, and hanging around doing btc trading because there's nothing else for you to do.
