Wow! For me that is a really large number if they are bitcoins, because the price is already touching $1000 mark and if someone holding that many bitcoins would probably be quite rich specially if he is from a place like where I live, maybe in some countries that is not much.

I'm in the USA, and I'm not rich at all. This money would last me 1-2 years if I had no job. Where do you live?  Maybe I should move there because I hate working Wink

I don't think you will receive the answer for your question from him. No one wants an additional lazy citizen for his country. If living in USA keep you working, so be it, stay right there and work.
Unless a person is born rich he has the choice not to work and just spend the money of his parents to live, it's impossible not to work as even the rich people are still working to make themselves richer.

its to be a good if we are born rich but its not be happen for other people. we still need to work to get the money and its what we seeing in out ther. in bitcoin, i think i am not yet save 1 bitcoin but i am sure that i can save more in 2017 so i think i need to continue my work so i can saved more amount.

That's a lot of bitcoin and there's no doubt that people who lives in a rich country such as USA that amount of bitcoin is just not that too high.

I don't know if most of the people in US are acting that way when they have saved enough money for their survival for a couple of years they won't really work.

For me as of now, I really can't save some of bitcoins because I keep on using it and every time I save, there are emergencies that I need to convert it to fiat.

As of now, my total Bitcoin holdings stand at BTC0.0805. I am collecting coins for the past few years, but I have been immediately converting them to fiat. But now, I have taken a decision to hold a part of my BTC earnings.

that's much better though, as of now I only have a total of BTC0.05 . I was late on making a decision to save some of my earning and it was just a week ago . I didn't made a lot of savings because of almost the same reason with you I used to convert my weekly earnings into fiat to pay for my tuition and to buy groceries and also for some chill with friends Grin but starting on January I'll surely save all my earnings before the start of classes .

indeed 85k will save your ass for some years and nothing more, it's not something i would call rich, for being rich you need one million at least, so 1k bitcoin, and right now having 1k bitcoin it's almost impossible, in my case i have around 25, 1 block, i'll hold until 10k at least, i hope we can reach that one day

I see you're all rich. You might be funny, but I have now just 0.62 Bitcoins. But it is very important to me, because I have them hard earned

probably some of them are just too lazy to explore on the web to find some other ways that has a potential to pay them a decent amount or some of them just don't have enough time for it . but that is definitely true, as long as we have an opportunity to earn more from different ways then we should grab it and do not stick to only one way if we really want to achieve our goal .

Exactly, being dependent on just one method of earning bitcoins wont really make you reach the target you have set for yourself, someone would probably have to find other ways of earning bitcoins as well along with their one method so that they can achieve their goal earlier.

definitely that's true the more ways of earning you have much better and in that way you could have reach your target amount you want to earn and save more quickly .

Seems a small number of bitcoin mate with the current price, my dream is to get at least BTC100 but with a price higher than the current price, probably at the rate of $1,000 if it will happen soon. I think with constant savings, I will be able to hit that amount in 10 years without sacrificing my personal expenses in life and still live a normal life.

yeah it seems a small number for a person who have much amount of bitcoin Grin well although he have only saved an amount which is just a small for you at least he made it to save that number of bitcoin . just think about those people who only have a very small number of bitcoin including me Grin

I have 0.04 btc for now maybe its just a small amount for you guys because i am new here in the forum and sometimes i withdraw my bitcoins to sustain my financial needs and school fees.
I thought it was a good amount for new comers, the prices always go up bitcoin, I suggest to hold up to 6 months in the future. I'm optimistic the year 2017 bitcoin can repeat performance as 2016 that is rising up to 400%.
Wow, you must be very very optimistic. I can not imagine that Bitcoin will grow up to 400%. 100% is enough for me. Bitcoin prices are still depended on many factors such as the adoption, people knowledge, restriction, etc. Bitcoin may grow higher in the future, but I doubt that it could cross over $2000 in 2017

therefore it would be highly recommended if you combine several methods to get bitcoin for you to use, of course earning will get bigger, and do not just stop there explore further, use the same passive income, it will slightly increase your earning

for me, 85 bitcoin is a big amount but and if we use the price $1000, then he make about $85000 and its really big money for me. i want to collect more than that amount but so far, i am not have 1 bitcoin at all. i want to collect bitcoin in many ways as i can so i can waiting for another high price and sell it to get a nice profit.
It's not good enough if the amount you save will be intended to use for your family in the future. Put in mind that there's plenty of opportunity you can make here, so why would you not dream to the fullest, if you can make like 1000 BTC then why not dream of it.

85 bitcoin is small number? Haha, I sort of agree.

I also want to get to the 3 digit BTC club (100+ btc)... but I feel like I already invested enough in it. There is still a slight chance it could all come crashing down.

Wow that's a lot! 85 BTC it's like 77000$ by today's price! Oh my God I can't believe that it's possible! But if to look on your legendary rank - you are must be for a long time here in bitcoin world and that time when you just joined bitcoin didn't costed so high as today. Now companies began to pay a bit lower cause of bitcoin's high price. Where you buying bitcoins?

Actually I joined here in Nov 2013 and bought my first 10 bitcoin for $660 each. So the price wasn't all that cheap. I kept buying incrementally since then and bought a lot when the price crashed down to $200-$300 in 2015.

It’s a good number to have especially where there are many online options to spend or invest bitcoins. It would be great if you can guide juniors in order to save more and more bitcoins. I earn in bitcoins but I usually re-invest it or use that amount for my experiments and hence don’t have much balance with me. Since you are a legendary, are you acquiring bitcoins from early days? If yes then how mining, serving or else?

No not that early, first bitcoin I bought was for $660 in Nov 2013... I kept buying and saving as much as I can little by little since then and I've never sold. I think 2017 will be a great year for bitcoin so I want to hold on to them and keep buying while it's under $1000. Bitcoin taught me to be a saver. I used to have no savings until I got into bitcoin... that's when I learned about money and how the system works, and stopped going out and spending $100-200 in clubs every weekend and instead saved and put it in bitcoin... it started to become a hobby and I started to enjoy seeing my bitcoin balance rise over spending money
