It all depends on how much you earn and how much you are able to afford to lose. Some people will have a higher loss threshold than you because of their apparent affluence and perhaps their high-paying jobs, and it is okay if you are not one of those people because most of us aren't either, but I digress. The best amount of bitcoin for you to hold is the amount that you are most comfortable with. Something you wouldn't sell in a panic when the market goes southward or something that you wouldn't put yourself in poverty for buying.
I know and can remember when I and my siblings were growing up and my Father was like;
All he needs is 1million Naira and the problems of the family will be settle but that was not the case when the 1 million arrived.
I don't think there is any amount of Bitcoin that is okay for someone, that is why will need and continue to invest in it to gain more, and accumulate more wealth for ourselves.
We all need and wish that our Bitcoin keeps increasing as the day goes by, so no amount is enough as far as we are human.
So the same way no amount of money is enough, the same way no bitcoin is enough also.
It's a case by case basis when it comes to anything that is related to money really. People are not easily content with what they currently have, and will always find ways to accumulate more wealth in the future, sometimes regardless of the means. For some losing a 21 bitcoins wouldn't put them in a state where they could contemplate suicide, for most of us, that is not the case.
