100bitcoins and a well settled busness will be more than enough to get retired after 20years but i think 100bitcoin is little bit harder to achive in this time but you can try

It may be more than enough, but it depends on how the currency will rise in value over the years.
Depend on his need to wag money.so you can not say 100 bitcoin will be enough .if you looking to retire after 20 year than why not to invest 1 btc in trustable mining service which give you good profit.

Things and foremost theres no a trustable  mining service even they exist  for how many months now but  the  assurance that it would last forever isnt there.  100 bitcoin is a good  amount if you looking to retire after 20 years. You could build a physical business with that amount and   you can secure your  future i guess.

I don't know why you're recommending for him to put some money into a mining service. Investing in cloud mining is literally betting against the network and assuming that the overall hashing power is going to go down over the time that you have your contract, and that's already an unlikely bet. On top of the fact that a majority of mining services turn out to be scams in one way or the other.

In 20 years, I think 30 BTC may be enough for retirement, if the currency continue with a good level of appreciation and adoption, of course.

I think we could not predict the future, so probably 30 BTC might not be enough.. It is better to have plenty...Bitcoin I think should not be our only retirement fund, there should always be other alternatives just in case bitcoin fails, but one thing is for sure, fiat would not fail, and other investments in real life like real estates...
But 30 bitcoin now is about 17000$ so if we sell them and invest in good place we have good money in 20 years.
Well, we have different satisfaction for life, others want a simple life so a little savings that would satisfy them would enough. 30 BTC is already a good investment as we don't know the value of it in the future.

Well its really hard to predict that what amount of coins will be good to hold after 20 years, as it will totally depend on the price of bitcoins after 20 years, but to be on safer side I think 100 btc would be enough.
Even at today's prices on cryptocurrency 100 bitcoin is a very large sum. Who can wait for many years, and the risk of their income. Or is it all other objects of expenditure?

If you can take risk of investing in other product then you can also take risk with bitcoins as no investment promises you profits but you will never taste the profits if you never take risks.
And I would venture the sake of the good benefits, and so on hundreds of thousands of dollars. After 20 years, I'll be an old man, and for the age I have become wealthy, or at least have a good life for all. And how much it needs to bitcoin, it is necessary to count.
old age appropriate time to feel the results, and does not have to work anymore. count me in the future the price will be above $ 1000, so we have to have at least 100 BTC.
If you have to be old enough price to $ 1,000 inquires are not big people. To do this, decent work, to collect at least a hundred.

The OP says he wants to retire in 20years, not hold his bitcoin for 20years Cheesy We also need to take into account the halving situations every 4 years. That being the case, and following the trend; the value of bitcoin should increase in value 5 times till he retires; by that time 1 BTC could probably be $1000 - $1200; not really that bad but im not so sure about the miners. For retirement though 3000BTC should be quite nice.

Are you serious? Do you know what you are talking about? 3000 btc is not a cup of tea of everyone and impossible to achieve if you are a part timer in bitcoins.
Cost of goods has always been equal to its value. Align the product with any bitcoin, and tell me how much it has its value. Why bitcoin should cost at the level of 3000 is not justified.

In the fog of 3000 is already a fairy tale. I do not believe that your prediction will come true. To do this, even there are no preconditions.

If you have a plan to get retired only on bitcoins then its always better to have more coins in you wallet, as we don't know what value it will hold in future, either it will be higher or too low, so playing safe is the best thing we can do.
I think saving like 10 BTC per year is already a good saving plan, if you make it at least 10 years of consistent savings and you would consider that for your early retirement, that 10 BTC could turn into a big amount of money if you bitcoin will continue to progress.

Yes and I think 10 btc is not too difficult to earn if you can manage to earn from different sources and if you cannot manage to earn that then you should at least have target of 100 btc.
