How do you trade in and out?  Huh I never understood that day trading stuff.

First step would be to get an account at a Bitcoin exchange (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Exchanges), I use MtGox (which is the largest) and BitStamp. Then you move wealth between Bitcoin and Fiat currencies (US Dollars, Euro, Pound sterling, etc) and hopefully make a profit. In its simplest form - buy low, sell high.

Nah I'm not an old miner. In fact I'm not mining now due to an annoying technical issue (opencl.dll not found on mining clients). I just bought mine when they were cheap. I'd maybe like to give mining a go but feel I've missed the boat.

You've clearly done very well mining though.

I really feel for the guy who spend 10k bitcoins on a pizza that I heard about.  Shocked

He should be newbie here, but old miner in fact...as me, I've mined almost 1000 BTC since 2011 and keep...0.97 now  Grin

I trade in and out quite a bit - but if i was "all in", it'd be just under 150.

Even as a joke, this will get you plenty of the wrong kind of attention  Wink

Only from Americans. I don't think Europeans will be quite as impressed.

Not much.

17.7 BTC in cold storage.
1.75 in my wallet.

4.2 invested in various things. These things will, I hope, provide profit.

Optimistically speaking, 23.65 BTC, but I have actual control over only 19.45 BTC.

That sucks Watiingtobepaid. I hope you are able to get anything that is rightfully yours.

"1 satoshi"? Is that the smallest unit of bitcoin currency or do you mean that you have kidnapped Satoshi and are holding him for ransom?

I would have more if this certain website would pay what they owe me...

But I'm not allowed to talk to them in this forum until I'm not a newbie anymore...

How is that for Grade AAA Customer Service?Huh
