Bought a few at $1, a lot more at $7, lost a bunch thanks to a rigged game, sold at $14 after the bubble burst and broke even.  Glad I got out before the crash to $2.  They haven't gone up since then, have they?

HAha...this is funny.

"This forum used to be the majority of bitcoin users a few years ago, but now we are a minority group and that is probably for the best Smiley"

Oh, I didn't realize that. Where are all the cool kids hanging out? I'm outta here.

I've often wondered whether this forum could move the market. That is, is we all got together and sold or bought at the same time could be influence the price. On the evidence of this thread, that is doubtful.

Everyone used to be bitcoin-rich around here, and then the lot of us gambled away our funds to pirateat40

Its because a lot of new people are getting into bitcoin. Its difficult for newer people to get them.

Either you are all lying or something weird is going on here.

Why are 90% of the people on a bitcoin forum currently owners of "zero" bitcoins?

Because this is the newbie section of the forums! Most people here are new to bitcoins or haven't been involved in bitcoins for long. So don't expect many here to have amassed more than a small handful of bitcoins.

If you vote, your name doesn't show up.

So its safe to use the voting poll.

Wish the OP would fix the poll options however.   Im a grammar/spelling/punctuation nazi  Grin

Everybody vote, this is actually pretty interesting.

I figured on a site like this, most of you would be old school and have 1000+

But its looking like nearly everyone has fewer than 20 ....

This is the newbies section however, nobody here is particularly "old school"  Wink

90% of those who replied in this topic are not equal to 90% users on this forum.

“How many money do you have?” is just a very strange question to ask, it is not surprising that most of real bitcoin holders will simply ignore this topic.
